I've been a fan since 98, but it's something about this era from 2003-2005 that I love the most. That was when I first saw them live. They were finishing up the touring cycle in late 2004. I was also finishing up high school at that time. Great memories. It was also badass seeing Chino rock the chucks with tube socks and messy hair. No fucks given. \m/

Having worked as a drum tech and stage hand, NOTHING beats the view from the back of the stage, next to the drummer, looking out at the rest of the band and the entire crowd. I fkn LOVE when they set a camera up there
I have seen over 100 bands live. And it's safe to say Deftones will be the the band I will never ever forget. Are you actually watching the same video as us? Chino has his off days JUST LIKE ANY OTHER SINGER CAN, but he sounds amazing here and the rest of the band sound amazing as well.
I've seen them live in concert at the Filmore, NC in 2010 (2011?). They sounded very good, even live. But when I came back to youtube and watched footage of that concert it wasn't as good as I remembered. I think that the energy of the band is something you have to feel to understand, and no recording device can capture it.
I've never watched Deftones live before, but now I see why my friends really liked seeing them live, they've got some awesome stage presence. Stellar performance.

I saw them a few months ago and I'm going to see them again tomorrow night and his screams are flawless live and very powerful.
