I like limp bizkit. They are a really good live band and have made some brilliant music. But they dont come anywhere near the greatness of the Deftones. The most inspiring metal band ive ever seen.
Chi's scream at 0:25 gives me the chills. They opened their Vancouver Warped Tour '98 show with this song. It gave me the chills then, and it still gives me the chills now.
I love how absolutely aggressive this song is and how Chino is just rocking out with the crowd, despite the barrier. While the audience is pogoing and not just killing each other. Nirvana was all about that too, let it out. Don't take it out. Even Pantera was all about that.

My friend from highschool, Bobby Shaw, we would go to see the Deftones every time they came and I remember this song coming on and we took off and pushed our way up front and had thr best time .... The Capital Ballroom in DC was the best one .... Bobby ended up being killed the next summer .... So this song will always be his ..... We were just silly kids hanging from age 14 to 17, he was hit by a car while he jumped out to spray paint along a highway :( ..... He was the type of kid that was very different, never had a GF really, great skateboarder, great artist and graffiti in particular, extremely free spirit, oddly polite and very kind, hilarious, always opened his home up to everyone. I got to be hands on, passing a much heavier crowd-surfing Chino back and forth a few times. We handled him like fine china. Dude puts in WORK at his shows. So freaking fun 🤣

in '98 in Denver he crowd-surfed at a 45degree angle about 50 yards over to the rail that I was leaning against and stood on it to belt out the completion of this...it was me him, and some other lucky dude on the other side of him, surrounded by half a dozen or more security with the whole crowd facing us. It was like I was on center stage with him.
chi cheng had the scariest screams...which is good for a backup vocalist... REST IN PEACE CHI CHENG...WE MISSED YOU.
