the Baywatch scene was worth the wait. truly majestic, truly a cinematic masterpiece. if you decide to stop painting we all know you can take up slow mode running
Hi Brooke! I just wanted to say how much I love your content! Even though I’m not a painter, I find your videos incredibly inspirational; they really make me want to get out and do some creative things, hehe. I’d definitely be interested in seeing a video about your content creation process-like what camera you use, how you edit, and your video setup. I think a lot of people would really enjoy that! Thanks!!!
Thanks so much Nicole! I really appreciate that 🙏 and I’ll definitely keep that in mind for a future video! If you’re interested, I list all my filming equipment in my video descriptions 😊
Thank you. Great fun, fascinating as ever and actually, for me, very useful. I had been wondering whether it would be possible to print out an image as a giclee on a canvas, then work on it with paints to turn it into a "sort of original." Thanks for showing me that yes, this IS possible with acrylics. I was worried that the giclee print might be treated / finished and so it would "reject" any new original paint being applied on top of it.
Where can I find thick clear texture to hand embellish giclee prints, compatible with Golden Heavy Body paint? I'd like to add clear texture that matches the Golden Heavy Body texture.
Such a great video! I really enjoyed all of the pictures and videos. Can't wait to see your next video! And I hope you always laugh because it looks really good on you😊 This video made me smile, thanks Brooke!❤
When you visit Mississippi, USA you are welcome to come to Cleveland, Mississippi. It is in the heart of the Delta. You will find us in the middle of the "Blues Trail". Bring your paints and enjoy the scenic agricultural landscapes. The Grammy Museum (east) is located in Cleveland. I have a room for you and your friend upstairs in our guest quarters. We look forward to your visit.
Will you do paintings of the Florida natural scenes- birds, beaches ? Looks to me like you were on the Gulf side.. and I think you could do some amazing shoreline paintings of the Florida West Coast sunsets which are epic.
It's a beautiful video! aesthetically with very many values and thematically you created a journey, covering several themes and closing with the wonder of your art. Excuse my English, it is very bad, I hope I have expressed myself well. Thanks for sharing your experience!!
I would love to know how you decide what material is best for your fine prints (glossy, matte, etc) - is it different for each painting? How do you handle packaging/shipping. Also what’s your method for pricing fine art prints. I’m currently stumbling through all of these problems lol! This is just a suggestion so absolutely no pressure, because I know that can be boring to talk about. Thanks! 😄
Hi Savannah! I think material of the print depends on the piece and personal preference. As for packaging and shipping - I just uploaded a video about that! You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/_EQYyxhe6c4/v-deo.html
You are a riot😂✌🏼 I’m a Ft Lauderdalian ( making up words… not drunk ) I subscribed bc you are a great artist. I am not an artist and was looking for a way to buy prints at Homegoods and attempt to make them like like REAL PAINTINGS … well that’s why I’m here but I’m staying because you are fun in the sun 🌻🌼☀️
thanks for putting this together. - many yquestions answered. do you paint directly on the surface of an unfixed surface of a giclee print? or do you put some gesso on it before and after?
Thanks for watching! I put the paint directly on the canvas and haven't had an issue. However I'm sure you could try putting clear gesso on top and embellishing over that!
I've never primed the print before embellishing and I've never had an issue! But I'm sure using some clear gesso wouldn't hurt - I would just recommend testing it out an a test print to make sure it doesn't react poorly with the ink before using a good print!
I'm an artist and have ordered my first giclee. I'm excited about my next steps and plan on a 10 piece run based upon a pencil drawing I recently completed. If this first test run goes well, I will reproduce some of my oil and pastel paintings for interested buyers. I'm curious as to who you ordered your repro's from and how you rate their business model. TIA...
For a second in the outro I thought you said "I'm broke Cormier" after you'd said you hoped to get paid for UA-cam one day 😂 The disappointment when I realised I'd misheard...
I find Brooke to be quite helpful. Her personality is both annoying and charming, like most real humans. Her genuine approach is made powerful by comprehensive inclusion of inspiration, technique and materials. Perhaps include even more information on materials and tools.

@@b.cormier beyond an artist, you are an inspiration for all of us who have art as an important part of our lives.
Great video. ❤❤❤
Big fan, Brooke. Love your work! I’m an amateur painter myself and would love your insights one day. 😊
Thank you. Once you embellish with acrylics will the paint crack if you attempt to roll your canvas if you were going to mail it in a tube?
Ahh such positive vibe I get frm this videos...
And such a pleasure to the eyes..
Keep rolling with more videos girl❤️☺️☺️
You are so goofy and fun.
Great video brooke . Keep going
Btw got scared at 1:59

Talented, super cute and kind of a spaz( just kidding) I LOVE IT!
where's the frame from in the video?
the one where you paint on the print, the dark frame around it, its so beautiful :)

I always thought that Acryl doesn't work on oil...but I seem to work😊
Great video! Do we need to use clear gesso or a uv medium on the giclee print before embellishing?

CAME FOR THE ART
STAYED FOR THE BAYWATCH
🤣🤣🤣
Love the painting, such pretty colors! You are funny, were you a drama student at some point lol?
Superb keep it up 👍

I love your paintings! You have a lot of magic in them! I would like to know what trick you use to make acrylic paint last longer?☺
Thanks so much! Try a Masterson Sta-Wet palette to help your acrylics last longer :)
What medium do you use
You are the best
Do you varnish or seal the embellished prints? Thanks for the video and the insights!
So good.... The part about the gators.... Wha? Lol.
thank you so much for making videos! love watching you!do you take the photos for the prints by yourself ?
Thanks Elena! If its a smaller painting than I will take the photo myself, but if its a larger piece I will get someone else to do it :)
and paintings too, ofcourse
What a fun, informative video!! Was happy to help with the beach filming!! 😊💦
❤❤❤awesome❤❤thank you❤❤❤
Broke is hilarious. I feel like she was actor from Colorado, or TEXas In a past life haha 🤣 🤠
Love it! How do you film so calm - it's so smooth. I've got the same camera but my movies are wiggling around haha
On premiere pro I use "warp stabilizer" to improve my shaky videos! :)
where do you get your painting Turned into giclee? do you use an online source or local?
For a second in the outro I thought you said "I'm broke Cormier" after you'd said you hoped to get paid for UA-cam one day 😂

not drunk 😆😆😆
I thought you went to Florida to see if any sane people were there 🤣🙈
Liked the video but would have preferred a shorter duration of the Julia Child impersonation
