Kevin is a monster player! Some of the stuff he's doing on the drums you won't see anywhere else, insane creativity at high tempos. There is no "best" in drumming but Kevin is damn near sitting at the top of extreme metal ATM.
I recognized Kevin first with his Black Dahlia Murder covers, which almost all got blocked I think.... he did so many drummer session, he even filled in for Shining (swe)
I don't often add recommendations to videos but as you're a Jazz dude, it might be cool for you to check out another Jazz dude - Greyson Nekrutman. I don't like labels but it's a convenient term for a drummer who has insane capabilities, but is mainly known as jazz player. He is, of course, sickeningly awesome.
I love your comments; they're a marvelous mixture of professional drum lingo and just raw appreciation for technical skill and cool beats/fills. Your videos never cease to entertain. Thanks, mate!
Can you please, please, please do Kriegsmaschine - Residual Blight - Drums Cover by K.Paradis I know it's a cover but covering Darkside from Mgła is another level of challange, and given he's not touring with Kriegsmaschine, this cover is the only drum cam you can react to this mad track, and oh boy, Kevin did justice to it in this cover!
Yeah that's awesome of cover of a great song right there, so much groove and musicality. I don't think Garrett has done Darkside yet though, would be nice to see him do one of his drumcams too.
Glad to see you're still making videos when you have time. I'm still holding out hope for a full reaction to Blur Lights in the Videodrome by Aric Improta. Haha!
What a solid drummer, he's got speed, consistency, strength and perfect technique. There's this drummer who seems to be taking instagram by storm. I don't know his actual name but he goes by Blastbeatology, and he's on youtube as well. It's mostly drum solos and videos showing his techniques, so there's not a particular video I would suggest, any video will do. The guy is absolutely insane and his techniques are flawless playing 300+ bpm
Also watch "Steve Schwegler (PYRRHON) Drum Cam" -- he's an absolute mad man and so fun to watch; and they do a lot of actual improvisation in their live shows...
You gotta watch Ilan Rubin next my man. He’s in the top of the hierarchy when it comes to studio drummers. He was in nine inch nails, paramore, lost prophets, and angels and airwaves.
you should watch buster odeholm from vildhjarta and humanity's last breath - here's a playthrough "vildhjarta - den heilige anden" - that's unbelievable: ua-cam.com/video/bWBooqW9zzY/v-deo.html
Give some lesser known players and artists their shine. We've already seen hundreds of AOL reactions, why not go listen to the album yourself if you want another reaction. Expand you palette a little bit.
meh,.... I mean, I respect this, but this blast beat / trigger / sound replaced / tapper stuff is getting old. you should check out Contrarian drummers Alex Cohen, Bryce Butler, George Kollias - it is metal drumming with real refinement and nuance. That band is a playground for serious drumming
I first discovered Kevin with a lamb of god cover. I was blown away then, and he's become insanely better in technique and endurance since. He's turned into a beast!
one of the best metal drummers alive today.

Wow I was watching Kevin video there's one hour ago, and I was like 'I need to recall Garrett to see this guy"!
What a song, demonic resurrection are so under rated

Greyson is such a talent
Dropping more support for this young man.
Greyson Nekrutman broke my brain.
Kevin is actually my fav drummer, every drum cam or cover of him blow me away. Amazing technique.
Wow it was so cool to wake up and see this video. Kevin is an absolute BEAST! We also hope you enjoyed the song. Cheers!
Holy fuck, his composure through the entire song is enviable. How can he maintain those beats at that fast pace? Is beyond me, incredible.
One of the great contemporary drummers. Amazing
Mr. Miller, you are a badass human being.
I love your comments; they're a marvelous mixture of professional drum lingo and just raw appreciation for technical skill and cool beats/fills. Your videos never cease to entertain. Thanks, mate!
You should check the last Benighted album, his main band! It's sick.
Another great reaction vid man! its good to hear you're doing great! You should also check out Adam Janzi from Vola, song 24 light years.
Can you please, please, please do Kriegsmaschine - Residual Blight - Drums Cover by K.Paradis

@@DaronMGL oh wow, I was sure he did Mgła before, can't find it now on the channel, maybe it got deleted or something 🤔
I want 4:14 to be my new ring tone/ text tone. Hilarious 😂
This drummer is fucking sick

Been following Blastbeatology for a while. That dude is nuts and his kit sounds so goude.
yay !
I fucking love watching you love doing this agin
This dude is killer! I love Dave McGraw from Cattle Decapitation! He is a beast!
W O W ! ! !
What about a nice Gergo Borlai shoot? Yes, he is a jazz dude, but...:)
GARRETT REACT TO PYRRHON - "Balkanized" Group Performance Video"
Extremely laid back jazz drummer plays over absolute technical death metal insanity
Also watch "Steve Schwegler (PYRRHON) Drum Cam" -- he's an absolute mad man and so fun to watch; and they do a lot of actual improvisation in their live shows...
I might be wrong but this dude made a cover of Residual Blight by Kriegsmachine, and it is one of most difficult songs no play in modern black metal
Haha. It is indeed fast as shit.
Please react to Thriller - Dirty Loops
Im so glad you're doing better, buddy! We all missed ya and are so glad you're back!
Can you please react to dirty loops ...." Work shit out"
To watch Kevin at peak creativity check out

Yep ankle technique
You're alright in my book though
You gotta watch Ilan Rubin next my man. He’s in the top of the hierarchy when it comes to studio drummers. He was in nine inch nails, paramore, lost prophets, and angels and airwaves.

I'm so early ..
this video has still less views than an extreme metal drummer's BPMs .
Garret!! You should check out Kiko Freitas! Another brazilian drummer, very incredible" Here is ua-cam.com/video/bigirHmL1_g/v-deo.html
I'd love to see you react to the new Animals As Leaders stuff. Love your videos!
