The manner in which you lay down and fill the keyway, build & install of the spillway and overflow pipes, amount of fill used: all subjects of interest. That is completely dependent on the scale and scope of project. Your local planning and zoning + the USDA is likely to have direct answers and resources on the most up to date regulations, laws, and requirements as far as Pond Construction goes.

Looks great. Never been a fan of that style of rock wall due to rodents. But that is my opinion. Looks great though.

Do you have to contend with Water Resource Board in Kansas or the Corps of Engineers on all us water ways?
