      @@OlenaBeley I was once on a very strict diet (for health but hoping to get better skin too) to the point where I rather ate no bread than white bread - or felt guilty - and that resulted in even worse skin than I had before! And I didnt get it. On the other hand, I remember a time when I ate EVERYTHING but also worked out (!) everyday and was genuinely happy overall and THAT is when my skin was absolutely flawless :O So it all makes sense now and I love how much Im learning with your videos..so a big THANK YOU and keep it up girl :)))

    Wow, thank you. I can very much relate. For about 2 years now Ive experimented with my diet for it to become perfect. And bc in the acne community people always tell you what youre allergic to (namely gluten, diary, sugar, soy and anything slightly processed) I got very VERY restrictive with my diet. Wich now looking back at it is ridicioulos. Im currently in another Country and suddenly im eating all the "trigger foods", but my skin is fine. I wish i hadnt been as restricitve on my diet as i was, bc I really missed out on a lot of Stuff and Made life very hard sometimes. This doesnt mean that i now eat, processed sugary Junk. No. Just a balanced one with lots of healthy fats and low glycemic carbs, and yes the occasional quality chocolate, bc lives too short:)

    That sentence of you saying listen to your body and what is it really need you to eat and make you feel good, really shot me on my forehead. I’ve been stressing about weight loss for so long when I was just a normal and healthy happy girl to unconfident and effect easily by others shit talks that causes me entering in a circle of trying to lose weight more and strict hard on myself then end up gaining weight a lot more than I was, then trying to lose it then gain again even more and hating myself for doing that. then that when my skin got a lots of breakouts and blame myself even more 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I only wish that I was more mindful about loving myself and appreciate how I was already so beautiful and healthy. It all began cause I was only hearing what other people says but I never actually listened to myself 🥺 thanks for sharing such an amazing contents always 💜 I wish your Chanel get more known cause it’s way way better and greater than so many UA-camrs and Channels that has million of views that they just saying bullshit about skincare and self-care in general.

    it seems to be a trend however that all the high carb foods have gluten and are high on the glycemic index , whill gluten free foods like chickpea pasta have lower glycemic index whill similar carbs, so if you just gotta have carbs for energy try chickpea pasta or some non refined grain alternative (i just recently picked up 10 boxes of it on amazon and they are ok tasting)

    What about people who got food allergies? Like if they eat farm eggs or normal eggs or even sm kind of fish like sardines, they end up getting a rash on their face! Is there any such food allergy?! Can you please talk to us about it! & why when some people stop eating dairy or processed food, they start getting clearer skin! Please do a video about this topic!

    • @OlenaBeley
      @OlenaBeley  3 роки тому +1

      Allergies are a totally different thing - people with allergies have clear reactions. But you have healthy people convincing themselves that they have “intolerances” or “sensitivities” even after their doctors confirm that they’re in perfect health (I was one of these people once!) because they’re trying to find a “root cause” of their skin condition. So it’s important to understand that food doesn’t cause acne (unless applied topically!). And acne is not an allergic reaction to food. 🙈

    • @mzellesecrets5904
      @mzellesecrets5904 3 роки тому

      @@OlenaBeley Yes pretty logic. Though everyone is trying to convince us that healthy food benefits skin! I am from one of those who stopped eating dairies & eggs & chocolate & all kind of sweets for years. Now I even cut out pasta! I feel that I’m not enjoying my food, unfortunately! But there’s some weird thing happened. Last year, I was pregnant & I was eating cheese & fast food everyday & my skin was amazing! & before 2020, I was only using dove soap & nivea moisturizer! & I wasn’t washing my face with soap everyday, I would wash once a week! Still my skin was pretty normal. I had pimples in my chin mainly, don’t know why. It disappeared in my pregnancy & mainly after marriage, don’t know why! Because of this pandemic, me n my husband are stuck in different countries for one year and a half now & this stressed me out a lot. I started again getting few pimples in my chin, & I don’t know for what I should blame it 🤷🏻‍♀️. Is it bcz of my cleanser or bcz of my moisturizer! I’m confused. I will try applying the 3 step moisture method, but I’m not that perfect to find the best products for my sensitive face. 😅😅

    100% apples to oranges talking about wheat in US vs. Italy

    • @OlenaBeley
      @OlenaBeley  3 роки тому

      Valid observation, but Italy has to use wheat from other countries because they can’t make enough to meet demands. The topic of gluten is nuanced and I hope to do an article about it on my blog soon - but it still doesn’t cause acne. 💖

    • @jessicastanforth-sheher6198
      @jessicastanforth-sheher6198 3 роки тому

      Well, when Italy does get wheat externally, it is North American, but Canadian not US. The US is the one with the most modified wheat. Also, other countries tend to treat the wheat differently (slower processes) when making things from it than the US’s super speedy impatient ways.
      Also, your one anecdotal story does not prove anything that but Italian products made with wheat do not cause acne for you.
