I am so sorry to hear of the loss.of your son. And you're absolutely right. Grief will also cause adrenal disfunction in many cases, which has a ton of horrible symptoms. Grief & stress has been scientifically proven to take a horrible toll on one's body.

No, in fear of toxicity I stick to just 10k IUs for now, I want to bring my Vit D levels back to great then get my maintenance dose from sunlight whenever possible, not to mention sometimes where you live there are doctors or public health practicioners that understand and administer tens of thousands of IUs on a personalized plan with supervision and checkups, I see they sometimes administer 50k weekly and not daily, so I'd say research and consultation is important here, especially before taking a potentially toxic amount of Vitamin D3 which is fat-based (A,D,E,K), but you are the final decision maker in the end

I just want to thank you Dr Berg and say for the viewers to heed this advice, it really works! I started the "KETO" diet in late January, 2022. 6 weeks in and no noticeable change, I was becoming discouraged and then one of your videos suggested that you sometimes have to get a life more aggressive than a 12-16 hour fast to initiate Ketosis for some metabolisms and perhaps an initial 24+ hour fast might be needed to kick start the process. About mid-March I initiated a little more than 34 hours. Remarkably if you time going to sleep where the hunger pangs come and go while in REM, you wakeup with a relatively easy stretch to your target end of fast. Those "hunger" cravings oddly disappeared around the 18-20 hour mark! Anyway I kicked into Ketosis and I normally go 16-18 hours before ending my fast and I now have about a 1/3 the former appetite, if that and I seldom eat more than a 2nd meal and never eat anything after 6 hours of my initial breaking the fast. In less than 6mos I lost 52 pounds! The added and quite unexpected benefit is I have a much healthier immune system confirmed by my personal physician! Thank you Dr Berg!

In most cases, autoimmune diseases are caused by parasites. I think Dr's do not intentionally test their patients for parasites because they want return customers. I grew up in Africa and it is highly recommended to deworm every six months that's why Africans very rarely have allergies, lactose intolerance and autoimmune diseases.

I have had multiple sclerosis since 2011 when I was a complete vegetable for lack of a better word and could not talk, walk, see, feed myself bath myself anything. I had over 60 legions in all of the terrible places to get them.
After a long stay in the hospital, then as an in and then out patient at Stan Cassidy rehab Center and yearrrrrrs of being consistent with my plant based nutrition, physical activity, booting ANYTHING that stresses me out in life, power of belief and just trying to maintain a healthy overall, I can say I’ve been in remission for years!
I can’t stress enough not to wait until you regret neglecting your health to take care of it. The blessing here is that I was 100% abusing my body when MS happened and if it didn’t, I’d probably be dead today.
It was so hard but it’s really made me a way better person. Anyways, take care of yourself.

I was diagnosed with autoimmune disease and the consultant was sure I had lupus about 15 years ago are used to go for checks every three months but after 2 years I checked myself out because I didn’t feel like it was doing anything and I kept feeling I was wasting my time. I also had terrible stomach issues which I was also getting checks for and I didn’t really connect the two at the time. I was probably pretty stressed as well as I had just moved to London, I also had terrible relationship patterns I couldn’t regulate emotions at all and every breakup would devastate me like a divorce even if it was only a few dates. I remember getting some absolutely awful advice from a doctor about eating white bread and cutting down on fibre which made me really start to think these people know nothing. I had not eaten bread for a long long time already and was into health. After this I decided to take it into my own hands there were times When I would be absolutely fine one day and then in bed for two days my whole body is to feel weak like I had the flu. I went raw vegan, Took probiotics and did a parasite cleanse and I have to say what must be about 15 years later I’m definitely way better than I was I’m not saying I don’t still get a little bit tired sometimes and I’m going to watch this video to see if there’s anything additional I can be doing. Full spectrum amino acids also seem to have helped me. But I’ve never had to take any medication and I’ve had a pretty normal life and I put it down to diet and lifestyle changes. I also became very spiritual meditated did yoga a lot, worked so much on my mental health etc and I a, sure that contributed to helping. I’ve never had to take steroids just one injection at the beginning then I checked myself out and self treated. I always intuitively knew not to go that route.

The only thing I’ve not really been able to manage is fasting I keep trying. I guess I eat carbohydrates because I eat fruits and vegetables but I don’t eat any grains or wheat rly cetera for about 15 years because I’ve always known they make things worse you can kind of feel it the same with too many things from the nightshade family. With the PMGs I think what's occurring is horizontal gene transfer, you should do a video about this. It's a large reason you want to avoid GMOs, as your microbiom ingests and assimilates the gene expression from the food you eat, sometimes causing problems (i.e. autoimmune and infertility.)

@@snowyowl6892 The gist is that what we consume has the ability to effectively change not just our "gene expression" (eg. epigenetics) but can function at the level of genetic inheritance itself. Debates still ensue about what *precisely* causes a mutation in our genes to occur and this line of thinking re: food, the microbiome and horizontal gene transfer argues for such a mechanism.

Studies on GMOs have suggested that they can also make diseases and viruses resistant to antibiotics and our own immune system. They are genetically modifying our food to be more resistant to things that would attack them, such as disease and pestilence. We eat the food, and bacteria and viruses in us take on those properties by way of horizontal gene transfer, and become more resistant to things that attack them, such as antibiotics and our own immune system. This can lead to more cancers, autoimmune diseases and they fear a super bug that can be resistant to our most powerful antibiotics.

I contracted EBV from mono when I was around 22 years old. It stayed dormant for 30 years. Then at the age of 52 I was rundown, and I also received a TDap booster. The next day I felt horrible. I felt like I had mono all over again. I am guessing that the TDap booster along with being run down triggered it. The doctor could see that the EBV reactivated again. 30 years later! I was able to put it back into remission with lots of sleep, zinc, lysine and monolaurin. I was already taking plenty of D3/K so I kept that up. I hope the EBV stays dormant!

Excellent. Most autoimmune patients have low D 25hydroxy. Supplement with D3. In severe autoimmune the Coimbra Protocol with high dose D3 (100,000 to 700000iu D 3 daily) monitored by a doctor can be very helpful. Besides D3 other vitamins/nutrients are helpful. 40,000iu D3 is one mg.
Hashimotos: lugols iodine, selenium, B vitamins.
Fibromyalgia: lugols iodine helpful in relieving muscle pain in 8/10 women.
Most people are not optimized in D or iodine. Since people are afraid of the sun and use sunscreen this lowers your immune system. The iodine level in food is almost nonexistant since farm raised fish has none and is was taken out of bread.

She spent no less than three to six hours everyday on these activities, often more. It was a full-time job however she her RA went into remission. Her food was normal for her generation. Very good advice. Keto, fasting, walking, and vitamin D are very helpful for reducing inflammation, in my own experience. It’s good to get out in the sun for an hour a day, but in the winter time we need the vitamin D capsules or pills because we don’t get much direct sun in New England, since the days are shorter. If I go off keto and start eating carbs again, the inflammation comes back. That proves to me that carbs contribute to inflammation. Stress is a major factor. Deep breathing, prayer, and meditation are helpful to reduce stress. I put my faith in God and ask Him to handle it. And I avoid hatred and resentment and think of ways I can help my family and my fellow man. That helps protect the mind from negativity.
Thank you, Dr. Berg. Been following you for years. You helped me lose a lot of excess weight, improve my vision, get rid of arthritis pain, and have a happier outlook and less stress through keto.
And by the way, a certain thing that everybody is getting these days contributes to the reactivation of viruses. It has been proven in peer- reviewed studies. It’s something we can’t talk about, especially doctors. I know because I’m a nurse. And I had mono too, when I was in college.

I didn't catch it, neither his younger sister, even though we were exposed to both that adult in the gym,and my son who suffered for more that three weeks before recovery.
I always made a point and explained to my children why we never share eating utensils, water bottles, etc. so we could avoid this virus ,in the end the pediatrician told me that my son caught it like one catches a cold/flu.😔
What is even more frustrating is that doctors ( especially ER doctors) are not knowledgeable, and properly trained to diagnose symptoms related to mono.

I tried your keto diet, lost weight, and felt so much better despite having to go to the hospital for an enema for a plugged bowel. "Am I on the keto diet?" inquired the hospital doctor first. I turned 50, felt great and two months later I could barely walk. I had heart palpatations, dizziness, shortness of breath, leg tremors, insomnia and extreme anxiety and depression. My wife developed both RA and Hashimotos (spelling) disease shortly after taking a Typhoid Fever vaccine. We were going on a trip to Peru early 2020 and it was a recommended vaccine. I was perfectly fine. Her blood inflammation factor has been getting worse every 6 months taking a prescription med (I don't know the name). I came across Quercitin information so I bought some for her to try. She was only on it for about 2 months by her next blood test and her inflammation factor dropped massively into the remission range. Adding Quercitin is the only thing she changed. She's now upping the Quercitin and lowering the prescription med on her own. We'll see how her next blood work looks.

That's so crazy! I just ordered Standard Process PMGs; brain, pancreas, lungs, thyroid, and heary. I started out just looking for some of the products that my naturopathic doctor used to put me on, years ago, when I could afford him. I had forgotten about several of those products by Standard Process. I was just reading about each product, after looking for something to give me some iron and a product with iodine. I found that there were other PMGs, all kinds, with different organs which were said to actually benefit the matching human organs. I already knew that we should be eating much more organ meat than we do, and that most of us don't eat any. I was surprised to find, many years ago, that most of the Standard Process products that my doctor put me on, contain organ meats. That's how I realize how much phasing out organ meats from the standard American diet has harmed our health.
Back when I was a kid, my mother served the most delicious liver and onions for dinner, a couple of times a month. As I grew to an adult and began shopping and cooking for myself, I could never find any decent liver. My mom could always find it easily, but years later, anytime I tried to buy it and make it, it was just too gross for me to eat.
After all that I've learned about what Big Industry does to meat and dairy, I really have a hard time buying it and eating it. I know that so many Ph@rm@ceutic@ls and diseases go through those animals' livers, I really don't think I need more of that in my system. Blech!
Remember in the '80s, Susan Powter, the "STOP THE INSANITY!"..woman? I think she had some exercise videos but she also lectured and taught a lot on nutrition. She had the bleach blonde buzz haircut, kind of a zany gal, but she wrote a book called "FOOD!"...and boy!... she really, really did her research and knows what she's talking about! If you can find an old copy, maybe at your library, I highly recommend reading it!

The target is the blood level of 50 ng/ml D3 blood level. The range of the most 50 ng/ml-100 ng/ml for glutathione production by transcription glutamyl-cysteine ligase and glutathione reductase. At 50 ng/ml tumor necrosis factor alpha a key rheumatoid factor is repressed. Its the blood level not the dose. Cysteine is needed through NAC and cysteine to make glutathione as cysteine is limited.

I am male and have lupus- APS & ITP and had an injury last November and have been in a flare ever since. Mostly joint pain that jumps around from wrists to shoulders to knees. When the next area is affected, the previous area goes back to normal like nothing was ever wrong. Am in college and it adds another layer of stress to everything…

Exactly what happened to me I suffered the loss of my mom 10-10-10 and then a divorce 2-11-11 and I developed Fibromyalgia. A perfect storm of enormous grief. The next two years was spent going to doctors after doctors trying to diagnose me. I still suffer from flare ups occasionally but I am taking the vitamins that Dr Berg recommends. This video is absolutely invaluable!

This is happening to me right now. Lost my Mom at the start of Covid, then my mentor/boss/friend a year later when her breast cancer returned and took her away from us. I’ve been trying to deal with growing autoimmune issues, depression and awful anxiety trying to juggle a job, my family and graduate school courses. I’m out here to find out what I can do to get out of this cycle.

Brexit resulted job loss, relocation, MBA, coupled with narcissistic relationship put a toll on my emotional and stress level. I was diagnosed with rare skin autoimmune disease called Pemphigus Vulgaris within that few months. I am still treating after 6 years. I want it completely put into remission

The great Medical Medium Anthony Williams who has written about this in his books for many many years has changed so many lives teaching them how to rid their bodies of EBV.
For any sufferers I would highly recommend ❤

Doc - my body has been getting used to 10k per day of D. If I'm doing 40k per day, is that during a time of "physical stress" or long term? Is there a daily amount of K2 you recommend alongside it?
