No dairy, no red meat, know what foods irritate your gut and avoids those, include prebiotic (fiber) and probiotics, eat lots of veggies and/or take vitamins supplements, and LOTS OF WATER!!
@@xw591 avoiding red meat is terrible advice. It's the most nutritious meat that you can eat and more nutrient dense than any plant. Come on now. Be fucking for real. And drinking tons of water will only create electrolyte imbalances. You have to add in coconut water, teas, and or add your minerals to your water
Google "diet for insulin resistance". Also, even more important than diet, is the daily calories you consume, your body fat percentage, and how often you workout.
I did an allergy test and it came out that basically most of the things that I was eating daily I was allergic to them, it was so strange to me because helloooo I was eating them daily and they never caused me issues? The highest on the list where: wheat, rye, nuts, egg yolks and cod fish. I couldn’t belive it they are all literally my favorite foods ever😩 As soon as I’ve remove them my skin got better, also from my bloodwork I came out very deficient in vitamin D and that also causes acne. For 4 years I’ve been struggling whit what seemed like hormonal acne but in reality it was digestive allergies and vitamin deficiencies. So for those of you who are suffering please get your tests done they do indeed help a lot. I also started looking at my products and I mean all of them, from clothes detergents, shampoos, shower gels, make up, creams etc, I got rid of all of the oil based, comodogenic, allergy, acne causing products. When addressing stubborn acne we have to look at everything. Get the Yuka app and scan your products you’ll be amazed what’s in most of them 💀
I’m really glad you found your cure! Unfortunately, food related acne diets or food related approaches to acne are not a one size fits all. The pathology of acne is complex and many don’t end up benefiting from a change in diet. But I’m glad it worked for you!
If a change in diet doesn't help, then the root cause is almost always poor gut health in which a change in diet over a long turn period will eventually resolve the issue as long as there are no hidden allergies in the foods you're eating
whenever I eat oily, heavy, cheesy food my acne flairs up so yeah food is definitely important. It reduced drastically during covid cuz I couldn't eat fast food like usual.
What’s wild is for me, milk has always been good. Which is the opposite of like everyone else I know. Including my own family. But when I started eating more cheese, for example, my skin often cleared up a bit more. Lately, I’ve been eating/drinking a bit more dairy products and my skin is so clear (with the help of a good routine and all of course)
@@AllThoseChickens it's actually a huge misconception that dairy is the problem. high fat good quality dairy is great for your skin and health, but most people eat the highly processed low fat versions and blame the dairy on their problems instead of the inflammatory ingredients
It's not really about not doing anything it's just about being more aware of your surroundings, heres what helped me trust me i been thru it all (i smoke everyday) I tried to included as many details as possible because I know how dense some people can be, this is the ultimate guide to clear skin step by step. its possible you just have to be aware that you have sensitive skin. step 1: check what kind of deodorant and body wash u use. If it's not sensitive kind and you're breaking out, try switching to dove sensitive or the secret sensitive (if u are a girl with long hair make sure u wash ur hair more often with a sulfate free shampoo) my favorite is the rosemary shampoo by loreal. also try not to shower in extreme hot water as much. step 2: do the same for laundry. it could be possible your sensitive to the dyes in laundry detergent, so try using a sensitive skin laundry detergent rewash bedding and clothes. all free and clear or tide is my favorite. (also make sure u are washing ur bedding at least 1 times a week) ... (continue to be aware of products with "fragrance" in the ingredients or smells strong with heavy perfume. avoid these. )(also only use a small amount of detergent like a tide pod amount if you arent already getting those) if u keep breaking out after all this. then try this: be very cautious of eating alot of dairy or sugary foods and drinks as this can cause break out overnight for some people. even doing sugar free dairy free diet for a few days can help alot. also drink 3 bottles water daily step 4 if u KEEP breaking out after this. start icing the area (i used to put ice in a ziploc over a washcloth so its not direct) and use a 10% benzoyl peroxide Persa gel ONLY TO AFFECTED AREAS (only use a little). I have tried Neutrogena, clean and clear , target brand they all work really good. I would also try instead of using dove soap switch to the Neutrogena fragrance free bar soap. (its like a clear orange bar) i also use the loofa gloves and its helped alot. btw this will then cause your skin to dry out a lot so you will need to get a moisturizer. My favorite is the cerave blue one. if all else fails. and you have done all of this then u must make drastic changes to your life. look around in your life and see who brings you negative energy... makes u stressed, angry etc. and stay away from them. It is scientifically factual that greasy/oily food does not cause acne because of its greasiness/oiliness. It’s generally because foods like that are often highly processed or just generally non-nutritious (fast food)
Amen! I developed adult acne and tried products (except tretinoin at that time) but none worked. Until I started taking care of my gut and took care of my stress levels. I take probiotic and prebiotics for gut health, lemon balm to lower my cortisol, and consumed more fruits and vegetables. In 2 weeks, I was less bloated (belly and face), my energy was better, and new acne stopped from forming. Now, I decided to start on tretinoin and I can finally say that my skin is a lot better. In my case, topical products didn’t work until I complemented it with other changes. I hope everyone finds what works with them too. ❤
ISTG. Have been suffering and doing same for decades ..only thing that helped me is no stress, good food...lots of water and no outside food and yes a Lil excercises. Just be happy no matter what. That really helps

@@Disneymoviefacts TYSM for your detailed list. It’s difficult to make changes, but, reading your list is a great reminder. Most people don’t follow these advices from doctors. It’s about time I commit to such a list.
No stress is one of the biggest resolvers of chronic problems because stress is a root problem. Chronic stress can literally cause illnesses, hormone imbalances, vitamin and mineral draining, early menopause, premature aging, autoimmune disorders, and even cancer and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Yes!!! I’m so glad you figured this out. Skincare is important and effective but it is only a band aid to a much bigger problem. Our gut health is EVERYTHING to our overall health.

You just solved my problem miss. Ever since the winter vacation I wasn’t paying attention to my belly properly and ever since the vacation start I am having a lot of acne on my face than usual. Love your video.
So I’m guessing you went on a low glycemic index diet to regulate blood sugar, reduced stress levels to regulate cortisol, and eliminated any foods that were hard for you to break down in order to prevent gut bacteria and digestive issues?
One thing thats often missed for good gut health is to eat 30 plants a week. Plants doesnt mean just vegetables but any fruits, beans$ legumes, seeds, nuts, spices, herbs etc
I suffered from really bad acne. the thing that helped me was pantothenic acid supplements! I ran into it by reading studies about acne. It’s totally safe for your body (its an ingredient in baby food), and it healed my acne completely
I took about 2500 mg 3 times a day. That’s 7500 mg per day. I would suggest to start in a lower amount and see how it affects you, and change your dose if you feel like you need to. Anyway, this vitamin absorbs in water so anything that your body doesn’t need will go out in your pee (so your pee might be yellow). Feel free to ask more questions :) And I will elaborate on my acne journey: It started when I was about 13. Really bad cystic acne all over the face. I tried everything - from over the counter ointments, to diet changes, to everything else I could find online. At 17 yo my dermatologist said that the only solution would be accutane. But I wanted to avoid it at any cost because of the scary side effects. So at 19 I started taking the pantothenic acid and in about a month I saw some improvement. After a few months my face was completely clear from acne :)
Getting off of birth control after 7 years helped my depression and my acne. Now the only time I break out is when I fall asleep without washing my face for a couple of days lol. I don’t eat healthy like I should but I know once I start doing it my skin will look even better and I’ll be in an even better mood and that makes me excited to start eating healthy. It’s just going the work that’s hard lol
I had adult acne for almost two decades. Went on Diane (contraceptive pill) for my painful periods, and my breakouts stopped by the end of 2nd month. Never looked back, never came back even after I stopped 1.5 years ago after 15-16 years on Diane. So it works for some women.
The medications she mentioned are last resort. People need to understand that finding what works for you takes time...and the right health professional as well. Education about your body and also maturity helps you know your body and what works for you
Agreed, food and what’s happening inside the body is a major factor in acne and all skin issues. Although, I’m at a bad crossroads with this and I hope someone can help.. i cut out eggs and dairy a few years ago, I can’t remember the last time I ate a dish with eggs. I DO NOT touch McDonald’s and most fast food, I get in lots of fruits and veggies a day and cook clean. I take a shit ton of supplements, I drink herbal medicinal teas, cut out all perfumes and fragrances in my house/all products that I use, don’t wear much makeup, aka I do just about everything right. So.. what exactly am I missing here because my skin has never been worse than it is right now. It’s been years of watching the life style I live only for it to feel like it’s doing absolutely nothing..
It could be your skin care routine, how you’re sleeping at night ( like if you’re sleeping on your face ), you might have to wash your pillows and towels often and keep from touching your face. Find a GOOD cleanser something simple because once I discovered this cerave face wash, I cut out all my other skincare products and now I only use a simple moisturizer and cleanser in the morning and at night and my skin is the best it’s been in years. it could also be the way you season your foods too ( too much can cause you to break out ) you might have to cut back to just simple ingredients, all homemade and fresh and lots of water and exercise. And when I mean fresh I mean like no frozen instant meals. I ate some simple frozen crinkle cut French fries the other day and it caused me to break out a little bit. you might have to watch your skin like a hawk when it’s clear to find out what’s causing it. But you definitely might need a good cleanser ( like a aha/bha ) no harsh exfoliants with the beads, just the chemical exfoliants ( aha/bha ), they penetrate your pores and skin to remove all the dirt and oil from your skin. AHA’s and BHA’s are gentle on the skin too so they can be used as a cleanser
I relate to this! I've also tried what you've described. Cut out all dairy, eggs, alcohol, no fast foods, and cook clean at home. Switch to making my own simple products or use products with very simple ingredients. No fragrances and less plastics. Living less stressed life. Drink herbal teas and eat healthy veg/fruits. Etc, etc! But! My hormonal acne is worse and more painful than before. I think it's now time to find a hormone specialist and blood work panels.
Most helpful video I've seen so far, my wife has hormonal acne but she doesn't listen to me, im gonna show her this video. She is taking medication for ger acne on and off for the past 5 years but it didn't seem to go away. She doesn't drink enough water, most of her diet consists of Carbohydrates with little to no protein at all, oily foods. I always tell her to exercise and about her diet.
I cut out dairy products (milk, cheese, hidden dairy like milk powder in cookies etc.). The reason was that I have endometriosis and read that dairy can cause flare ups resulting in more pain and inflammation. My back and face acne disappeared. Whenever I allow myself to eat an ice cream... booom... it comes back. Also worked for my cousin. Maybe that's also something to consider :) I hate diet based solutions and never took them seriously. But this actually worked wonders for me.
@SandraP4123 thank you 😊 🙏, going to screenshot it and show it my wife. She never believes me but when her friends says the same things that I've been telling her over and over again, she is like ohhh I'll definitely try this.
I have been aware that my acne is hormonal since 2007/2008. I also knew I needed to get on spironalactone, based on the small amount of info I could find on the internet back then. Dr. wouldn't prescribe it for me. Acne continued and flared up when I was stressed. I did more years of research, and in 2017 I asked my new primary care Dr. for a referral to a dermatologist and begged her to do some reading and get back to me about whether or not she agrees with me and would prescribe spironalactone. She said that she would need to get approval through my state insurance (it was a no) and she laughed at me and said that you can't diagnose yourself and just start taking random meds based on what you saw online, and then asked me if I'm positive that I'm not abusing methamphetamine... Fast forward to this year, my acne was worse than ever due to stress and I found out my trans gf is on spiro! And she had TONS extra she could give me! I've been taking it every day for 5 mos. and although the "purging phase" has been quite frightening, it's almost over and already my skin is clearer, healthier, less oily and less sore to the touch than it's ever been! I'm overjoyed! I don't even have to shave my mustache any more bc it's gone - it disappeared! Now all I have to do is try to convince a doctor to keep me on it for life! I highly recommend trying a course of spironalactone. The key is to stay on it for at least 6 months to give it a chance to work, and be aware that it will get worse before it gets better, but I am a living, breathing success story! Good luck! ❤
@@SandraP4123 i ate way too much icecream in february and suddenly got the biggest breakout one month later. can this still be the result of the icecream or is 1 month later too late? i hope it is.. i stopped eating dairy and limited sugar/carbs 2 weeks after i got the breakout. after two weeks i can still see no difference, unfortunately but i hope it just takes some time. its often really hard to find out why you broke out especially if it seems to be delayed
@@AntiChannel1type "Dr Karan gut health" into youtube. He gives you an easy recipe that is basically a probiotic bomb. I don't really think you need a special type of probiotics as long as the ones you take make your gut healthy. Healthy gut = healthy skin. Probiotics are very expensive, so this is an easy way to do it :)
Type 1 diabetic here, insulin imbalance made my acne so much worse. Of course when I stress, I get acne as do we all. Over the holidays, my blood sugar was nuts and so my acne was awful. But after just 2 days of exercising again after a while of not exercising, it’s so much better. Plus I lost a loved one I’m very close to before Christmas so I think grieving would also be a root cause for anyone who has acne. We got this!
I had such crystal clear skin and all my family members did too till I turned 18 and got the worst acne on my cheeks, my diet is super healthy I get my veggies, fruits and super good meats, fish, nuts, and drink plenty of water, so I did a hormone test, my hormones were 100% normal, now I'm using anti bacterial and anti fungal treatments and my acne is healing, if u have bad acne definitely do a hormone test, it'll tell u if it's Ur hormones causing it or if Ur skin has transmitted some bad bacterial or fungal infection
Um, yeah, this isn’t about everyone else’s skin, this is what worked for her personally. Just because some people can eat bad and clear their skin doesn’t make her experience wrong, because everyone’s skin is different and everyone reacts differently to different things. Some people are highly sensitive to inflammatory foods so please don’t try to invalidate a useful solution for many just to lobby for a poor diet. Millions of women have had amazing results with cleaning up their diet. Your anecdotal evidence to the contrary doesn’t eliminate millions of other women’s results. You should already understand this if you’re an adult. If you’re not, do more research before making statements that haven’t been thoroughly thought out.
Some people have extremely oily skin like me that gets really oily again after just one minute in the sun after scrubbing your face super hard to get the oil out and using makeup wipes to help as well as wipes to take away oil from your face, some are lucky to have balanced skin while others have skin that is extremely dry, it’s a spectrum
True. I started low carb high fat to loose weight. Lost 10 kg in 3 months and my skin improved a lot. I took a break from it but kept my weight. My bad skin came back. now Im on the diet again to loose 10 more kg. And my skin has already started to clear. Microneedling, retinol and sulfur mask is great skincare.
If you’re suffering cut out dairy completely. My skin was as bad if not worse. It started clearing immediately when I entirely cut out dairy aged 31 while waiting to go on accutane. Within 2 weeks existing spots and hyperpigmentation scars were gone. If you’re at your wit’s end like I was give it a try. There so many delicious healthy and also junky plant based foods now including cheese, desserts, sauces. I resisted until my 30s because I didn’t want to be without cheese. How I wish I’d tried when young. My confidence levels and life choices would have been more positive
Honestly, I wish people understood this more. For me it’s dairy and other inflammatory foods. The second I eat them I know I’m due a volcanic eruption on my face. Took me 10 years to pinpoint and trail specific diets to get it under control. That and porefavor supplements and tretinoin keeps me 90-95% clear
I eliminated a lot of my acne with diet change, too, and managed migraines by only eating meat, veggies, some dairy/berries, very sparingly eat grains/cane sugar, change pillowcase at least every other night, wash makeup brushes (need to do that more, but like try to do it every 2 weeks, I don't wear makeup often, WFH), electrolyte water (no sugar), prenatal vitamins, oh and protein shake helped my hair stop thinning.
Yep totally agree as a young teen I get small breakouts some times, and I’ll notice what I’m doing wrong with my diet. Buying poptarts and ice cream at school, eating junk food and candy when I shouldn’t be, and then I’ll get to eating healthy, and my skin will clear up. This also just has to do with my menstrual cycle, it sucks, but the lady week or before I start will break me out, can’t always help it besides drinking enough water, making good food choices to take care of my body, getting enough exercise, and of course some skincare helps. ❤ Also for skincare make sure you’re not overdoing it especially if you’re younger like me. You don’t need a 10 step skincare routine. That will certainly probably make it worse, only getting what your skin needs helps. I like to stick to a cleanser, toner to get off dirt oil and extra soap off of my face, a moisturizer, sunscreen during the day, and for extra, maybe one hydrating serum or a salicylic acid serum or something like that, just for extra..like one thing that you don’t necessarily need but it may help your skin. And ofc besides that any acne product like a gel, patches, (and salicylic acid clears blemishes and heals acne by the way), or even a blemish prevention product or a cleanser meant for acne prone skin. And you can’t forget lip balm or I like Vaseline lol. But if you stick to something simple, necessary, and a useful routine it should help clear your skin along with the things I mentioned earlier, and if you stick to that you should be good to go. Please don’t feel like you’re ugly or anything if there is absolutely nothing you can do abt it or if it’s hormonal and it just won’t go away, you’ll get over it and ppl don’t see you as someone with acne, they see you as a beautiful sweet caring person. ❤❤
You are absolutely correct, some people don't realise that just by applying product on the outside won't give them results the most important thing is to eat good food and avoid junk, What you put in reflects on the skin.
As someone who suffered from cystic acne from teens to 20s, everything you say is 100% facts. Low carb, high quality fats diet changed everything. Also, some other weird things that actually help. 1. Train yourself to never touch your face. Your hands can trigger spots. I didn't believe it until I tried it. 2. Change your pillowcase at least twice a week. 3. Wear a silk hair bonnet at night, sometimes hair on your face can trigger flare ups.
it’s so sad when you go to dermatologist to get help and they’re telling you that the food is not a problem for your acnee and you just need to get some pills and some skin care products, only to help pharmacies with so much money
That happened to me ....... i asked my dermatologist what to eat and what to not ..? he told me eat everything , food can't cause pimples .... then i ate eggs and sugar and dairy foods ...... pimples :💀👋Hi👋
Exactly. I started getting really bad acne in middle school and my parents took me to doctor and they prescribed medicated cream. Did absolutely nothing. My parents pushed me to drink a lot of milk when I was young. I had really bad acne all the way into adulthood. When I found out milk was the culprit and too much sugar too, I stopped eating those products and literally my acne stopped within a few weeks, my skin healed within a few months. Doctors and derms are only taught what the board of medicine/derm and government want them to learn. And we all know those entities get lots of political donations from large food corporations. They’re all in cahoots with each other just to make money from people suffering
Probably the best and quickest acne video ever to help solve the underlining issue. I think this is my issue. It’s just hard because I’m currently 3 months pregnant so I’m limited on using certain skin care products and my cravings are hard to resist. So I believe I need to clean up my diet but it also can be my hormones due to pregnancy.
Omg, same. I went thru the same thing, so glad I stumbled upon your channel.Doctors do not really have the answers sometimes it almost feels you tried everything & it is a dead end still. I can relate so much to what you went through. It is taunting & self draining having to deal with acne this long 😅.If you can drop the food routine, it would be great 😊.
People also don’t realise that some people are genetically more prone to have acne and be triggered more easily by these certain triggers that you listed than others. Also realising how the female body truly works and differs to the male body in a biochemical way, helped me so much dealing with acne. Besides all of it we’re living in a modern chronic stress pandemic which worsens all of the above.
She basically started eating nutrious foods like strawberries, apple, cabbage, celery, and maybe she started drinking green tea, chamomile tea, hibiscus tea, black tea, matcha tea they were excellent treatment for acnes.
You are so right. But keep in mind that people with hormone diseases. For example pcos, endometriosis or type 1 diabetes. They cannot always control or 'fix' the internal inbalances. Im happy for you that you have been able to fix it❤ but guys please before you are going to judge other people with acne for not living healthy or it being their own fault. Pls keep in mind it can be bc of hormone diseases. Be kind and understanding to the people ❤
Accurate and many of these traditional medications for acne help millions of people and can be a lot of people’s saving grace especially when it affects their mental health. For anyone thinking doing what this girl did is going to cure your acne or falls into these traps that traditional acne medications are not safe or don’t work please talk to a doctor and ask questions write them down and ask as many questions as you need don’t feel intimidated the only way you find things out is by asking and having that open dialogue whether it’s being nervous about trying something new or that it won’t help just be open minded and have a good relationship with your doctor/dermatologist.
I’ve been vegan now for almost a month and i’m really hoping that the lack of meat and dairy helps heal my gut biome and as a result clear up my acne 😩
My acne went away when I took them too. The issue is birth control pills aren't actually curing the underlying issues and hormone imbalances. As soon as you go off of them your acne will come back. They also have some really bad side effects and can even interfere with choosing good life partners according to many studies.
I avoid dairy gluten and sugar (even fruit) and my hormonal acne still won't go away. I'm literally so lost right now, because I've tried everything and all those perscriptions are like she said just temporary fixes:(
You may have MTHFR mutation. Try avoiding everything that is “enriched” with folic acid and instead take methylfolate supplement. Dont cut out fruits, you need the antioxidants and fiber. Eat anti-inflammatory diet.
@@AmberLichtenberghi!! Thank you so much for your question. Im sorry to answer so late. When i tell you i had acne all my life, its the truth -- i developed deep, cystic, nodular acne at the age of 9 (!!!!). I had so much acne that not a single spot on my forehead or nose was clear. I had blackheads on my nose the size of a pencil eraser, and people often mistook me as much older than 9 (they would tell me i look 15 or 16). It shattered me. My severe acne and oily skin lasted until i was 17, when a dermatologist i visited put me on accutane 2x a day for 6 months. He was my Angel. I had purging after starting accutane for 4 months. It was almost like my body was expelling all its toxins, and oil, right onto my face. At first i admitted defeat -- because if the worlds best medication could not cure me, i had no hope. Then suddenly, literally out of no where, after the 4th month mark of being on accutane, i woke up with a DRAMATICALLY clear face. Bright, smooth, and dry..dry!!! Even my scalp felt amazing! I couldnt believe it. From mid 4th month to the end of the 6th month, i continued to improve dramatically. Even my scars cleared. Not only that, but even after i stopped the treatment, i continued to see vast improvement. Now more than a decade later my skin is still near perfect. No scars, nothing. When i tell people about my acne past they think im lying until i show pictures lol and they cant believe it. I have recently had some pimples after 30 along the jaw, but that is due to hormonal changes and nothing close to what i had. If you are on the fence about it, i would strongly urge u to take it. I did not experience any weird psychological effects (i do not drink at all (muslim) and neither have ever done any type of drug) which in my opinion could alter how the drug metabolisez. Indeed it is powerful at killing acne, it dries u from the inside, so naturally it can have stronger side effects. Plz let me know if u take it and ur experience. I wish u the best only❤❤❤❤😊
@@AmberLichtenberg it took 6 months! I got worse before i got better! The purging was 100× worse than what i had! But i stuck with it. And by end of month 4 is when i suddenly started seeing results and rapidly so. I wish u ALL the best it is truly worth it!!❤❤
I’m starting to think emotional stress is a huge factor in acne. It can create a cycle if your self-esteem is tied to your appearance, and therefore acne is a stressor. I’ve noticed since I improved my inner and outer circumstances, relaxed the skincare routine to very simple ingredients, my acne both ‘feels’ and appears smaller. So for anyone reading it’s okay to relax a little 😮💨❤️ show your acne some love cos it is still a part of your body, your face. Attacking your body with products can be a sign of stress and panic. People will get angry and offended , but it's just true 🤷🏼♀️ esspecially nowadays. If you can afford it good for you! But no need to be mad that people are understandably frustrated cause no matter how hard they work or how responsible they are, they can't ever afford essentials or just decent house items like healthy food. Even frozen food is ridiculous priced
Exact same experience. Nothing worked until i started using all raw natural products without any additives, oils, or chemicals. Raw shea butter, tallow, African soap or goat milk soap. My cystic acne and hormonal acne is almost gone with no new ones in sight. I’m starting to learn to make my own skin products as i realized some of the added ingredients are actually just for consistency and texture. But those exact same ingredients had made my skin extremely sensitive and prone to acne. I then realized my cystic acne was due to inflammation from the over-the-counter products I was using.
properly controlled diabetes wouldnt lead to acne! only insulin dysregulation/resistance does. as long as you are on proper medication for diabetes it will work
Diet has nothing to do with it. Surely it helps. If diet was the causation of acne, why doesnt everyone develop severe acne like that? If you have acne you need a CONSISTANT routine. For example i use adapalene every evening over flooding method. 4 days a week bp 10 percent gel along side the adapalene to keep acne causing bacteria (p acnes) away. In the morning a sal acid cleanser. Every morning. Recently i added vitamin C . If you switch up products too often, you never allow them a chance to work. Im always stressed, drink and have the crappiest diet known to man. I just had a donut for breakfast. Still, skin remains clear.
That lifestyle can eventually catch up on you. Even If it’s not showing on your skin now, you’ll definitely see it in forms of insulin resistance or even other diseases. And if you did some research you’ll find a lot of scientific evidence on how the foods you eat influence your skin.
Because everyone reacts differently. Some people will get acne from diet, other’s wont. Life is a balance. It’s like products, some work for others, some don’t. There is evidence that diet can trigger acne. Hormonal acne. Again, as I mention previously, it does not affect everyone but can surely help does with hormonal acne.
Guys, the only changes you have to do in your diet is Cut all sorts of sugar such jaggery, honey, maple syrup, agave syrup, anything sweet must be avoided and also limit fruits to only one per day and fruits juice with or without should be avoided at any cost,no dairy products except for butter and ghee in limited quantity. Avoid all sorts of processed, refined grains, deep fried food Foods that you must eat is Eggs Chicken Fish Bone broth Non starchy Vegetables Eat 3 whole meals per day,if your hungry have nuts in limited quantity its better if you soak nuts, except for peanuts(as it may cause allergy for some)for example Breakfast-3 whole eggs(no eggs doesn't cause acne),avoid, cereals, dairy products of any kind, anything savoury and not sweet. Lunch- little rice, non starchy vegetable ( cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers etc,) and also fish(salmon, sardine, mackrel),chicken. Dinner:same as lunch or bone broth is recommended. This is my diet i follow this and my acne as improved a lott😊 Please follow these recommendations and let me know if it helps and share your experience.
Yes some foods and drinks are drink a lot of water, beet juice and green juice also cut eating too much sugar and eat fruit and veggies most fruits have Vitamin C and if you want to try get a small piece of garlic and chew it or i like to cut because in the garlic are some antioxidants good for your skin. But make sure to brush your teeth 😭 🤩♥😁
The biggest lie I was told was what I eat can fix my cystic acne.No diet can fix it. Also avoiding chocolate, ice cream or treats don't help. I have been on accutane 4 times, hormonal pills, medicated creams, and supplements. It always comes back. ATM my diet is vegetarian low carb. I still have breakouts.
@@Rosetulippp So if it can be fixed by diet by some then really it is an easy fix and I do question the severity. But many, many, many people try altering their diet and it does nothing. Those people require medication. If it was an easy fix, no one would need medication. Roaccutane has unpleasant side effects like raising your cholesterol, depression and skin bleeding. No one goes on it because they ate chocolate and got two pimples that healed up in a day. Acne is a painful disease.
I went through the same thing! Teenage acne turned into adult hormonal and 2 rounds of accutane and many skin care products later and the only thing that keeps the acne away is my now healthy, very low sugar diet... sucks when I cave and have dessert 😢
I mean there is also also a real chance that as this woman aged her hormone levels changed to the level where she didnt have cystic acne anymore and all the eating better was just a coincidence that occurred at the same time. I used to get SEVERE cystic acne on my face and body but it went away as i aged without any lifestyle changes....
Try to balance omega 3 and omega 6 ,by lowering 6 and increasing 3 as most processed food has omega 6 . It should about be at a 1:1. And if you're acne is due to insulin imbalance then lower simple sugar amount and consume your carbs with fibers( like having grains with a good amount of fiber) . Eat vegetables and make sure to get a safe amount of zinc in your diet as it lowers androgens
My dr recommended 3rd course of isotretinoin but this time I'm skeptical 😢😢😢 my acne isn't going away from past 1 year despite going dairy free no processed food, cleaning eat but nothing working

@xw591 red meat is fine, just make sure it grass fed
I’m really glad you found your cure! Unfortunately, food related acne diets or food related approaches to acne are not a one size fits all. The pathology of acne is complex and many don’t end up benefiting from a change in diet. But I’m glad it worked for you!
10,000% this!
Exactly
If a change in diet doesn't help, then the root cause is almost always poor gut health in which a change in diet over a long turn period will eventually resolve the issue as long as there are no hidden allergies in the foods you're eating
To be honest, a good diet is always a good change, whether it changes your skin or not.

whenever I eat oily, heavy, cheesy food my acne flairs up so yeah food is definitely important.
@@AllThoseChickens it's actually a huge misconception that dairy is the problem. high fat good quality dairy is great for your skin and health, but most people eat the highly processed low fat versions and blame the dairy on their problems instead of the inflammatory ingredients

its possible you just have to be aware that you have sensitive skin.
step 1: check what kind of deodorant and body wash u use. If it's not sensitive kind and you're breaking out, try switching to dove sensitive or the secret sensitive
(if u are a girl with long hair make sure u wash ur hair more often with a sulfate free shampoo) my favorite is the rosemary shampoo by loreal. also try not to shower in extreme hot water as much.

if u keep breaking out after all this. then try this:
be very cautious of eating alot of dairy or sugary foods and drinks as this can cause break out overnight for some people.
even doing sugar free dairy free diet for a few days can help alot.
also drink 3 bottles water daily

start icing the area (i used to put ice in a ziploc over a washcloth so its not direct) and
use a 10% benzoyl peroxide Persa gel ONLY TO AFFECTED AREAS (only use a little). I have tried Neutrogena, clean and clear , target brand they all work really good. I would also try instead of using dove soap switch to the Neutrogena fragrance free bar soap.

Hi! How much of it do you take daily?
I took about 2500 mg 3 times a day. That’s 7500 mg per day. I would suggest to start in a lower amount and see how it affects you, and change your dose if you feel like you need to. Anyway, this vitamin absorbs in water so anything that your body doesn’t need will go out in your pee (so your pee might be yellow). Feel free to ask more questions :)
And I will elaborate on my acne journey:
It started when I was about 13.

Maybe that's also something to consider :)
I hate diet based solutions and never took them seriously.
Good luck! ❤
This is me but with my mom she finally started to listen after I showed her this! Hope your wife has better skin!

I don't really think you need a special type of probiotics as long as the ones you take make your gut healthy. Healthy gut = healthy skin. Probiotics are very expensive, so this is an easy way to do it :)
get metagenics ultra flora balance. those changed my life
#winning I love seeing this! You healed yourself and you did it with food. AMAZING!!!
Drop your diet and meals or your daily foods for good skin, great video!
And remember don’t only do it for your skin but also because it makes you feel good ❤
Do an in-depth video about the food you ingested.
What hormone tests?
Hormonal acne can only be solved by getting tested then getting the adequate medication
Stress panic anxiety biggest cause
I feel your pain… like the actual pain… it hurts! I don’t miss that at ALL!!
Yeah , no … what sucks to me is that many people got clear skin without needing to change their diet …
Genes
you must learn that everyone's skin is different
Yeah everyone’s skin is different and most people on here use filter to look good but they are totally different in real life
Um, yeah, this isn’t about everyone else’s skin, this is what worked for her personally.
My confidence levels and life choices would have been more positive
vitamins are super underrated for skin. figure out what you need and start adding a supplement along with moderating your diet
facts. skincare is just the smallest part of it. if u wanna improve ur skin, improve ur lifestyle
I'm so happy that you finally realised the real needs of your body ❤
Honestly, I wish people understood this more. For me it’s dairy and other inflammatory foods. The second I eat them I know I’m due a volcanic eruption on my face. Took me 10 years to pinpoint and trail specific diets to get it under control. That and porefavor supplements and tretinoin keeps me 90-95% clear
Accutane worked for me. I did it twice and haven't had acnes for the last 30 years. Best thing ever.
How gorgeous ur eyes are.. u look great ❤
I eliminated a lot of my acne with diet change, too, and managed migraines by only eating meat, veggies, some dairy/berries, very sparingly eat grains/cane sugar, change pillowcase at least every other night, wash makeup brushes (need to do that more, but like try to do it every 2 weeks, I don't wear makeup often, WFH), electrolyte water (no sugar), prenatal vitamins, oh and protein shake helped my hair stop thinning.
Apparently switching to a low glycemic diet may help with hormonal acne. So glad it worked for you :)
Insulin dysregulation
Cortisol dysregulation
Poor digestion
Poor detoxification
Gut infections
Yep totally agree as a young teen I get small breakouts some times, and I’ll notice what I’m doing wrong with my diet. Buying poptarts and ice cream at school, eating junk food and candy when I shouldn’t be, and then I’ll get to eating healthy, and my skin will clear up. This also just has to do with my menstrual cycle, it sucks, but the lady week or before I start will break me out, can’t always help it besides drinking enough water, making good food choices to take care of my body, getting enough exercise, and of course some skincare helps. ❤
Also for skincare make sure you’re not overdoing it especially if you’re younger like me.
Great video..I went keto n all my cystic breakouts went poof finally..wish someone told me pre- my 40s!
Rose water made my huge cystic acne go away am I truly happy I don’t even moisturize
it’s so sad when you go to dermatologist to get help and they’re telling you that the food is not a problem for your acnee and you just need to get some
pills and some skin care products, only to help pharmacies with so much money
That happened to me ....... i asked my dermatologist what to eat and what to not ..? he told me eat everything , food can't cause pimples .... then i ate eggs and sugar and dairy foods ...... pimples :💀👋Hi👋
if we dont buy their services and products, they will stay in street and eat leftover foods from trash can
If they ever did tell you their secrets who will go for the treatment? Non right so ! Its all business
@@eatnplaytoday i absolutely loathe my mother for that too. That lady still don't understand.
Yes ! Especially during pregnancy! Eating healthy is good for mommy and baby! I hope your baby girl ends up being healthy gl!
THANK YOU! I FUCKIN hate when I tell people it’s a health issue not external cause and they don’t LISTEN!
Nah
and i fucking hate being told this by people who are completely clueless about all the lifestyle and diet changes you've tried to no success :)
Great vid ❤❤ i have polycystic syndrome but I don't take birth control and sometimes I have to change my routine slightly near the time of the month
Wait try cycle syncing, I know so many girlie's with pcos that tried that and it helps
This couldn’t be more true, I have acne too and the type of food I eat has so much effect
i agree. going gluten free cleared my acne
100% vibrant organic raw food changed everything for me. All my acne disappeared and eventually scars started to heal and my large pores disappeared..
Let food be your medicine ❤
People also don’t realise that some people are genetically more prone to have acne and be triggered more easily by these certain triggers that you listed than others. Also realising how the female body truly works and differs to the male body in a biochemical way, helped me so much dealing with acne. Besides all of it we’re living in a modern chronic stress pandemic which worsens all of the above.
Hi, can you please do a post on your diet. Thanks in advance.❤
More protein, less sugar, probiotics, vitamin D3 K2, and fish oil supplements help big too.
Ok but how the hellz did you clear your acne scars and hyperpigmentation????
Also stress. When I’m really stressed I break out.
I’ve been vegan now for almost a month and i’m really hoping that the lack of meat and dairy helps heal my gut biome and as a result clear up my acne 😩
how's it going so far?
@@mommo2388 slowly but surely getting better! Being vegan is hard 🫠
Yes ! Please drop a food care routine!!!
just avoid high glycerin foods, (bread/pasta) dairy and sugar.

This is just what I experienced. Same opinion👍
Most people just do not want to change their complete lifestyle. But it is worth it...
good thing my cystic acne cleared with BC pills... i think i'd be too stressed just with planning my diet 😅
My acne went away when I took them too. The issue is birth control pills aren't actually curing the underlying issues and hormone imbalances. As soon as you go off of them your acne will come back.
They also have some really bad side effects and can even interfere with choosing good life partners according to many studies.
@@bunny_0288 i also heard about that... quite shocking actually 😞 i would need a specialist to help me get off of it and keep my skin clear
If you don’t have MTHFR mutation, you may just need to supplement with Vitamin B9(Pantothenic Acid) a lot of people have had success with that.
Accutane alone did it for me changed my life😊
How long did your accutane journey take? Also did you have purging, if so how much? I’m considering starting accutane so I’m curious😄😊
It certainly was for me.
True 💯
I feel like my skin gets worse
When i try to overdo my skin with harsh active chemicals
But it reacts totally fine when i stick to the basics
The problem here some ppl can't afford all these expensive foods. Coz eating healthy is expensive as well.
Not true, you can make it..way cheaper.
Vegetables and fruits are definetly cheaper then skin care
It's not really about not doing anything it's just about being more aware of your surroundings, heres what helped me trust me i been thru it all (i smoke everyday)
I tried to included as many details as possible because I know how dense some people can be,
this is the ultimate guide to clear skin step by step.
its possible you just have to be aware that you have sensitive skin.
step 1: check what kind of deodorant and body wash u use. If it's not sensitive kind and you're breaking out, try switching to dove sensitive or the secret sensitive
(if u are a girl with long hair make sure u wash ur hair more often with a sulfate free shampoo) my favorite is the rosemary shampoo by loreal. also try not to shower in extreme hot water as much.
step 2: do the same for laundry. it could be possible your sensitive to the dyes in laundry detergent, so try using a sensitive skin laundry detergent rewash bedding and clothes. all free and clear or tide is my favorite. (also make sure u are washing ur bedding at least 1 times a week) ...
(continue to be aware of products with "fragrance" in the ingredients or smells strong with heavy perfume. avoid these. )(also only use a small amount of detergent like a tide pod amount if you arent already getting those)
if u keep breaking out after all this. then try this:
be very cautious of eating alot of dairy or sugary foods and drinks as this can cause break out overnight for some people.
even doing sugar free dairy free diet for a few days can help alot.
also drink 3 bottles water daily
step 4 if u KEEP breaking out after this.
start icing the area (i used to put ice in a ziploc over a washcloth so its not direct) and
use a 10% benzoyl peroxide Persa gel ONLY TO AFFECTED AREAS (only use a little). I have tried Neutrogena, clean and clear , target brand they all work really good. I would also try instead of using dove soap switch to the Neutrogena fragrance free bar soap.
We are all primarily made up of energy so if you are changing your environment, it may be something happening internally.. in a way your body may actually be "allergic" to this negative energy around you and you must remove it
bacne- people talking about u behind ur back
chest acne- people being fake right in front of you
face- usually its yourself and you must change your own auric field (look up energy healing) (kundalini energy alignment)
Start listening to frequencies as you fall asleep as this can heal you in ways you don't even know
432hz is my favorite
another drastic thing you can do is, if all this fails go to the dermatologist and get a professional opinion. I would also instead of using the benzyl peroxide switch to "differin creme"
What are you spending your money on? Maybe you can take the money for those things and invest it into food!
I then realized my cystic acne was due to inflammation from the over-the-counter products I was using.
how do i balance that insulin thing when i have diabetes 💀 my pimples never gonna fade
Omg same
Search for inositol, myoinositol and dchiroinositol
properly controlled diabetes wouldnt lead to acne! only insulin dysregulation/resistance does. as long as you are on proper medication for diabetes it will work
Lookup Mastering Diabetes here on UA-cam and online. They also have a book. Follow their protocol and I bet you, a year from now, you’ll be glowing ❤
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Too many denied this to me and it's sad they still might. So happy for you!
Again, as I mention previously, it does not affect everyone but can surely help does with hormonal acne.
give me medical citations that prove your claim. Srsly sick of all the idiots who spout this misinformation that diet and acne are 100% uncorrelated
@@teairahharris I know that but I'm just pointing out how sugar and dairy doesn't directly cause acne

Cut all sorts of sugar such jaggery, honey, maple syrup, agave syrup, anything sweet must be avoided and also limit fruits to only one per day and fruits juice with or without should be avoided at any cost,no dairy products except for butter and ghee in limited quantity.
Avoid all sorts of processed, refined grains, deep fried food
Foods that you must eat is
Eggs
Chicken
Fish
Bone broth
Non starchy Vegetables
Eat 3 whole meals per day,if your hungry have nuts in limited quantity its better if you soak nuts, except for peanuts(as it may cause allergy for some)for example
Breakfast-3 whole eggs(no eggs doesn't cause acne),avoid, cereals, dairy products of any kind, anything savoury and not sweet.
Lunch- little rice, non starchy vegetable ( cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers etc,) and also fish(salmon, sardine, mackrel),chicken.
Dinner:same as lunch or bone broth is recommended.

More power to you girl.. i can really understand what you have gone through ❤
The biggest lie I was told was what I eat can fix my cystic acne.No diet can fix it. Also avoiding chocolate, ice cream or treats don't help. I have been on accutane 4 times, hormonal pills, medicated creams, and supplements. It always comes back. ATM my diet is vegetarian low carb. I still have breakouts.
So what do you think will help? Do you have pcos?
@@desertmoonlee6631maybe try cycle syncing cause if its your menstrual cycle that will definitely help
But there are many people in the comment section saying diet helped them so much.
@@Rosetulippp that's cause most of those saying diet discovered cycle syncing cause u need certain vitamins more during certain phases
