- Everybody always asks me what I use to cleanse, so today I'm sharing my thoughts on the two cleansers I use the most: the Bioderma Sensibio Gel Cleanser and the Bioderma Sebium Gel Cleanser. Which gel cleanser is the best and why?
It's the battle of the gel cleansers...Who will win?

Wash your face with cold water - it works wonders for your skin, giving it a bright glow. Splash cold water on your face first thing in the morning, and when you return from work, and before bedtime. Don't use hot water as it can make your face look dull. Always use a soft, mild face wash like Littlleextra Ricebberry Face Wash, enriched with black rice water, which is ten times more beneficial than regular white rice water. It maintains your skin hydrated, eliminates excess oil and dirt, prevents pimples, and leaves your face glowing after just one morning wash.
What you like, and what other people need are different things...Unfortunately, there's no universal rule that applies to everyone. 💖
This rice berry facewash is great for having glowing skin. It is enriched with the goodness of black rice and white mulberry, which maintains our skin soft and hydrated. It also help in concealing dark spots and pigmentation. It is additionally paraben-free. I highly recommend after using it for 2 months.
The tone of my skin has improved a lot after beginning to use the rice berry vitamin c serum and ricebery face cleanser.
The way you talk about this stuff makes it so apparent that you know what you're talking about. Thank you for the fantastic education!
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching! :)
i literally typed this on google and your video came up! love it
Please do a video about which actives to use for which skin issues for different skin types! :)))
omg i was trying to find the comparison of these two! thank you so much for doing this vid!
upinthesky yay!! So glad you were able to find it! 🥳💗
Hi
I am binge watching your videos. Best way to spend my Sunday. Sending all my friends your way. Two are about to get married and suddenly getting acne!
divya tiwari awww that’s so nice to hear! Thank you so much! And congrats to your friends on the happy nuptials! ❤️❤️❤️
This review is not boring at all. love love
Aw thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I use the pink one just because I don’t want to use more harsh products because I’m already using a lot of treatments that are too much on my face.. even though the blue one is great and is not harsh
really like your review. fun and to the point
Yay, thanks so much! I appreciate your sweet feedback! 😄
I really like your comparison video, it’s super informative. But I want to mention that the pink cleanser actually comes in a bigger bottle as the blue one. I bought a 500ml bottle of the pink one a month ago and I absolutely love it! I used to buy the blue cleanser but then I decided to switch to more gentle formulas of my cleansing products and my skin texture got so much better. I had a combination skin but with really dry areas on my cheeks due to harsh cleansing I believe. But now I completely got rid of this problem
Does it cleanse ur oily areas enough?
I love your attitude girl! Great video too! 😄👌
Aw that's so kind, thank you very much! 😄😄😄
@@OlenaBeley thank you! 😊
Great Video, Olena! The pink cleanser is interesting to me, since I’m not a fan of Sodium Laureth Sulfate, because it’s a little drying for me.
Ashley ZHAO Thanks for pointing that out, but I’m aware. I never said it was. SLES is still drying for me.
please do a skincare routine, although we all know what products you use it would be awesome to see u do it!
I do my skincare routine in a bonus video in the Cure It With Love Clear Skin Course, coming soon! :D
@@OlenaBeley Hi if i suscribe there i can see your whole skin care routine?? i am from Mexico so i dont get english really well
Hey, I love your informative videos! Do you maybe have any tips on hair care? I wish there was a video out there about hair with as much information and knowledge as your skincare videos
Aw thanks so much!
Haircare is not my area of expertise, but I do avoid SLS in my shampoo since it can irritate the face/body and create body acne. I also use minimal heat styling tools (just a blow dryer) and try to minimize heat damage by using product on my ends.
I also don't use heavy emollient shampoos as I find they make my scalp feel off and also make my hair greasier faster.
I try to only wash my hair every 2nd or 3d day to avoid overwashing.
To make sure my hair doesn't needlessly tangle and snag, I also put it up in a bud as I sleep...
The hair goes through three phases of growth, so there's little to be done to speed this up...so don't fall for products that claim to grow hair faster and stuff like that.
And that's pretty much it for my hair tips!
Love,
Olena
Thanks alot for introducing this product.. I bought yesterday the bioderma pink gel wash.i can tell the difference after first wash. I love it my skin loves it. Also followed by your 3 step moisture method.u r a gem.. but too expensive 😇
Hi tehmina are you still using the pink one ?
@@farheensultana4060 yes! Since 7 8 months. And didnt changed
@@tehminafaisal6253 that's great
What is that 3 step method ?
Hi Olena, I find your videos very informative! I haven't seen any reviews on here about Paula's Choice cleansers and I was wondering what do you think of the Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser from the RESIST line, have you ever tried it?
Thank you so much beauty. What hydrated cream shall I use with the beoderma pink cleanser?
Hi Olena! I was just reading an article about pore clogging ingredients and they said Sodium Laureth Sulfate is one of the most common one. So does that mean the bioderma sebium cleanser can be pore clogging then? Thaanks💕
Recently I have been waking up with an oily t-zone but I’m not sure if my skin type is actually oily? I also have acne prone skin, the cystic kind. I’m not sure which one to get, but will grab the pink one first just to be safe!
Lots of people take care of there skin and dont have skin like yours u literally have perfect skin and u got good Gene's girl
kitty kat why thank you! But people think they’re taking good care of their skin when really they’re not - if they were their skin would be equally good!! 😅🥰
i've been looking for a right cleanser for my face to use daily as using salisilic acid often damaged my skin. i've asked my sister-in-law who is a pharmacist and she recommended the pink one. just came here to check the comments and be sure to buy it or not. i guess i'll buy the pink one. super informative video, just subscribed. tysm💞💞 i'll edit this comment after using it to share my own experiencess
It has been 7 months
Aww🥰 you're so pretty💕
I have normal to combination skin but I still getting acne so please advise me which cleaners i have to use.

I LOVE ALL your VIDEOS!! xo
Awwww thank you ❤️🙏😍😘😘😘😘
The blue one also has zinc and copper in it, which are good for irritation and acne. How come you didn't mention that? it's a huge difference!
Great point! But I tend to disregard positive ingredients in a cleanser because they’re rinsed away - I look at function (how well does it cleanse without irritation). The pink one works beautifully on acne-prone skin as well.
Because she doesnt know!
so all in all which is best?
Would the blue bottle of the Bioderma cleanser work better after using a cleansing balm to remove makeup? My cleansing balm isn't too heavy, but my cleanser is very gentle and doesn't seem to cleanse off the balm well enough because I get breakouts around my mouth. I've used the pink bioderma cleanser and the La Roche Posay Lipikar wash!
Love it thanks❤️
Hey there, have you ever done a video about body acne like back acne? ,it would be awesome if you know any tips about it.Thanks for the review, its a shame the blue one has perfume 😖
This is a great idea! :)
Thank you so much omg
Have you try bioderma atoderm cleanser gel ? It looks good for acné prone skin under drying treatment (b.peroxide , etc )
Any recommendation for oily BUT dehydrated acne prone skin?
I used the blue one, and many others but EVERY single time, without fail my skin gets dry tight and i don't know what to do with it....
Спасибо! Thank you!
I can tell the difference too from my experience these are best cleansers to clear all the make up, but I use pink one for eye makeup, and blue one for all face, couse last time blue one irritated my eye and it didn't look good. So yes pink one is more gentle I guess, still my favourite.
Can you suggest the best cleanser that is cruelty-free (since Bioderma isn’t)? Thanks!
Can the pink one remove sunscreen ☺️? Or should i use the blue one?
I have combination skin with acne and it dried my skin so hard too, even the oily parts
Also, what so you think about The ordinary peeling solution? Should i be using it? Since I'm 18 and I have combination skin
I have acne prone oily skin and very sensitive skin...... which one would be better for me the blue one or pink one?
Do you think that just using the bioderma cleanser is enough to remove the sunscreen? or do you think you need the double clenaser?
Hi, I have combination skin, sensitive skin and have pimples. Which one is suitable for me? Pink or blue?
Hi Olena, I really liked your video. My question still which one of those cleansers should I buy, because my skin is oily, dry and gets red when I clean my face. I actually use the cleanser from La Roche Posay, but I want to try Bioderma. I hope you can answer me. Thank you very much!
The CreaVe facial foaming cleanser is a get cleanser for combination skin and it is very gentle and will not leave ur skin red after u cleanse 😀 i have been using it for 3 weeks now and i love it !
Hyram skincare also really helped me with my skin care journey so mabey check him out ! 😀
@@orlaghegan4717 thanks for your response! I appreciate it!
I have combination sensitive acne-prone skin. I oil cleanse daily to take suncreen off. So, will the Sensibio cleanser be a good second cleanser in my oil cleansing process?
Have you tried the hydrant stick from bioderma? I got it yesterday but I hate the smell
Hey Olena, the Pink cleanser is no more available! Not in thr website, not even in my country! & my skin is eczema prone, I don’t think I can use that blue cleanser as it has perfume! Any suggestions please?!
wow what a beauty you are
I have dry skin...can i use this facewash ?
I've seen the double cleanser everywhere you think about this
Can I use both? like some days one and then the other one? I just wash my face with a cleaneser in the night, in the mornings I just use Micelle solution. I have a combination skin and a sesitive skin, I dont know wich one would be the best :(
You're funny🤣♥️
Thanks for the review
Hey, just how often do we need to use it 3-4 time a week or everyday. Because someone says just use it 3-4 times a week. But i use it twice a day in the morning and night. Is that okk. As i feel so clean after washing mh face with this
Amazing video ❤️
Afsaana Zainab thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment! ❤️❤️❤️
My Pleasure ❤️ @olenabelay I love the way you explain each and every thing with depth ❤️💯
I have super dry, and super oily skin in portions... I currently use cera ve foaming cleanser and someone bought me the green one from bioderma... I’m scared it will dry me out like crazy.. what do you recommend
Is it safe for fungal acne prone skin?
Can u still use the pink one even if it has a coconut detergent in it if my skin is sensitive too coconut oil
What do you recommend for hormonal cystic acne? I’ve cleared most of it from diet, but I occasionally get large cystic pimples before my period
Sebium
What about concerns with propylene glycol which is in the blue one?
if i had a skin allergy to coconut oil from the heimish all clean balm, does that mean i can't use these cleansers since they have coconut oil derived surfactants ?
I use this product. My skin isn’t the best and I’m still trying to work out why. I think it’s because I squeeze etc…
Hi. Your thoughts about garnier miceller oil in water?
what are you thinking about bioderma sebium h20 micellar water? thanks for your advices by the way 🌺 acctually i wanna be your client because i have some questions but my english is not so well i didnt understand your working system
I’m oily too and am using the sebium, it works so well but that smell is bothersome... i was so hoping you were loving the sensibio, can’t win ‘em all 🤷🏻♀️
Any one plz guide
Can I use both?
Pink one in the morning
And blue one at night?
Do you use bioderma sebium in winter as well? Some say its drying, i want to try it but afraid seriously! 😰
Maliha Chowdhury my products don’t change based on seasons - they either suit my skin, or they don’t 🤗
Can you use these to remove eye make up as well? Especially mascara...
I have combination skin, would it work for me?
Did you mention bioderma bb cream sensibio or bourjois bb cream because are not the same
Olina please tell the nam of good moisturiser for pigmentation and make s video on pigmentation😭
Also I’m thinking to buy Cerave moisturizing cream for my face because the moisturizer you recommended I couldn’t find it anywhere so do you recommend that moisturizer?
Please what moisturizer she recommended !
Rajae AJANA thé same question which moisturizer she recommended?
The cream is too thick, I would recommend the CeraVe moisturising lotion instead of the cream
What moisture did she recommend?? May you tell me the title of the video ? Thank you
She talks about it on her hydrabio line review
I have mixed skin and the sebium cleanser dryed my face so much😭 i loved it the first weeks tho😓 but now is just imposible
Same with me, my skin became so dry each time after using😓
What do you think about dove soap bars for face?
Very very damaging for the skin! I wouldn't use them ever! :D
Hi olena do you still use your hialuroic acid serum from now foods?
Ismael Garduño I have since switched, it used to be my fave for years though! 😉
Favrt acid exfoliators please 😊 waiting waiting 😄
It's literally on the top of the main page of my blog! :)
the blue and pink one, which one is for sensitive and dry skin?
The pink one
I have an oily-acne prone skin also I have a little bit of rosacea on my cheeks, I have been using the blue one. And now I’m really wondering if I should switch it with the pink one??? I don’t know!!!
Pink 😉
Hi did you try the pink one and did it affect your rosacea ,i have rosacea too
1:45 actually it depends on concentration. Some of the most gentle cleansers contain SLS.
And on water!
Hi, Could u tell me the differences between Bioderma gel moussant and Bioderma H20? Are both of them cleanser? So is it a good idea to only use one among them?
Thanks, love ur video
Hello, Bioderma gel moussant is a cleanser like a soap (but it dos not contain soap) and H2O is a micellar water (make UP remover)..
Sebium IS for combination and oily skins and the crealine IS for sensitive skins (dry, oily, combination etc you have different products crealine like TS, AR.....)
Personnaly I use the H2O to remove make up ( crealine for eyes and face....and be carreful sebium IS not for eyes because of zinc) and the gel moussant like a soap to wash the face and remove thé rest of make UP......
Hey lovely pls do video abt
Bioderma vs Cetaphil cleanser
There’s no comparison 🙈
Hey what about bioderma cream?
You hilp me, cause I am about to chang my mind
Thanks
Hello Olena, please, did you try Bioderma sebium toner with salicilid acid? I have really problematic chin t-zone a there are still some cloged pores. Thank you
Hi there, no I haven't tried it!
I still don't know what to choose between Bioderma vs La Roche Posay cleanser.
Did you try them?
if i have under skin acne and my skin is sensitive and t-zone which one is better for me?
When in doubt between these two, I'd go for the pink one! :)
Would love to know what daycream you use so I can at least look it up and see the ingredients 😍😍😍
I don't share my skincare routine with anyone as it would only promote mindless buying. It's important that you choose things based on your skin's needs, not mine. This channel and my website provide plenty of examples of well-formulated products, so please refer to them.
Thank you for responding! :) I understand that! I am trying my best (i think!!) to educate myself around your free content and read up in ingredients! I think I have a good routine right now but I am still experiencing dry and sensitive skin and it is frustrating to say the least :P I love skincare but a couple of days a week I want to give up, haha!! I remember the days when I used coconut oil (yep please don’t cancel me!) and my skin looked fine. Not amazingly glowy but good enough… no pimples or closed comedones and no sensitivity!
But I will keep going with this routine and we’ll see how my skin feels eventually👏🏻
Hi Olena, sorry really didn't get the point about you trying to remove foundation with them? I mean, I would use a micellar water to remove makeup then wash it away with one of those..so in that case even the most delicate one will be okay i think x
My advice is double cleanse. First remove your makeup with some oil (I use rosehip oil) after oil breaks my makeup I wash it with some gentle cleanser (I use la roche possay) :)
hello can you please review bioderma sebium line
I was cleansing twice a day w/a DIY clay cleanser, it works for a couple months but recently I get fungus acne in my brow n beard area, now i'm cleansing with a ketoconazole shampoo. (Sorry if my english is bad, i learned it on my own)
Greetings from Colombia, i love your videos.
Angel David Garcia Susrez try only cleansing with clay once to a few times a week rather than twice a day because it may just be too clarifying for everyday use! Make sure to strengthen your barrier to help with the fungal acne! And maybe aloe Vera gel and salicylic acid plus gluceryn or hyaluronic acid
I have combination skin and have used this for a week, but it’s extremely drying and started making the pimples that I had prior to the face wash, extremely painful
The blue or pink one?
Else Katuuo I bought the blue one. I tried using it every other night and it made dry patches on my cheeks so I no longer use it at all. I was hoping it would be amazing because I saw so many good things about it but I chunked it in the trash
Thanks for your comment i have combo skin too
I find the vanicream gentle cleanser works great for combination skin. It doesn't dry out the skin or make it oily and I like that my skin feels actually cleansed after using it :)
Is there a cleanser similar to this brand that doesn’t test on animals? I’m cruelty free only and don’t want to support a brand that isn’t but I want one that is as great as these?! 🙏🏼
Idk but I love both haha
It's hard to choose! :)
The pink one made my skin barrier worse because of the Sodiun Laureth Sulfate - yes Its more gentle than SLS, But Its not gentle.
Avoid any sulfates, you don’t need it. Surfactants is enough
The pink one doesn't contain any Sodium Laureth Sulfate, here are the ingredients:
AQUA/WATER/EAU, SODIUM COCOAMPHOACETATE, PROPANEDIOL, SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE, CITRIC ACID, COCO-GLUCOSIDE, GLYCERYL OLEATE, SODIUM CITRATE, PEG-90 GLYCERYL ISOSTEARATE, MANNITOL, XYLITOL, LAURETH-2, RHAMNOSE, FRUCTOOLIGOSACCHARIDES, TOCOPHEROL, HYDROGENATED PALM GLYCERIDES CITRATE, LECITHIN, ASCORBYL PALMITATE. [BI 722]
Love,
Olena
Olena Beley Youre right. It might be the citric acid High on the ingredients list Which compromised my skin barrier.
@@OlenaBeley I though alcohols like mannitol and MENTHOXYPROPANEDIOl are bad for skin as well as coco oils such as coco-glucoside...
Does the blue one help with pimples?
which one do you think is better for double cleansing?
We don't double cleanse or promote double cleansing here!
@@OlenaBeley oh why is that?
But They contain SLS and fragrance, I read that sodium laureth sulfate can cause dioxine a toxic carcinogenic?
One of them contains SLES (sodium laureth sulfate), often confused for its evil cousin sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).... I don't recommend harsh or pore-clogging products on this channel :)
Which one do you think is better the bioderma or la roche posay?
Chaotic Lovely definitely Bioderma! 🙌🙌🙌
Can I use the blue one on my body?
Sure! 🤗
im a 33 old man, do you recommend Bioderma Sebium Gel Cleanser?
yes
Salut Olena,
How about Sensibio DS Gel Moussant ? I have been using it and it seems to keep my seb derm at bay. Do you think it's worth to try one of these 2 ? All the best
First name Last name I have seb derm. Too . The blue one cleanser its not good for us ,because it dries the skin too much
Hi olena! I have oily skin and live in pakistan. I am having acne for the last one year i have tried gel cleansers but they have not completely deminished the pimple and its marks. What cleanser should u suggest? (Should i try bioderma sebium cleanser?)
Thanks in advance 😘 loved the review!
Hi there! A cleanser isn't enough to diminish pimples and post-acne marks, it's just the first step. If your skin is naturally oily (not oily because of harsh products), then the Sebium cleanser can be a good option for you as long as you include a good moisturizer + sunscreen into your routine as well! :)
Love,
Olena
@@OlenaBeley Thank u ! yeah i have natural oily skin. i have started using the bioderma spf50 sunscreen and will now try this one .also i am thinking to go for the bioderma sebium global for acne prone skin. Which one have you brought?
I wanted to try it, but am now skeptical because I saw it contains fragrance... Has anyone had any issues with that?
Carolina Perez the pink one is fragrance free if it’s a concern.
