Hey Kait! Can you do a video on how bad eating corn is?? Eating corn is worse for me than eating gluten. Lots of so called keto foods have corn fiber in them. 🙁
Ya a lot of keto products are 🗑️ I'll look into doing a video on corn for you. It could be a trigger for you because of all the pesticides it is sprayed with.
Hi Kait love your video so much. I Learned a alot from your Videos😍😍 I have a video suggestion, Can u talk about bowel movements frequency and poop on a Carnivore or keto diet. And What's normal .
Thank you. Needed this after a very drawn out video. Was hoping the video would go into depth on these but this is literally as much information as this video has.
@@c.h2043 this video was basically a copy and paste from google. She doesn’t actually understand any of this. Just a regurgitation of basic information… 🥱
Let's not forget persistent chronic constipation or loose bowel movements (it's usually one or the other). Many gluten intolerant sufferers don't even know what normal elimination feels like.
I have ibs, when I eat to much gluten I bloat and nausia sometimes, I injoy gluten, it doesn't injoy me, gluten free stuff so expensive, the guy im seeing his brother can't eat gluten at all. I get nausia from to much dairy
@@tabithawallen7716 I’m experiencing the same symptoms with my 4 year old. He’ll sit on the toilet for hours, having to go. But not going. Then when he does go it’s loose stools. I’m going to get him tested for celiac
Cutting out gluten has been life changing for me! Joint pain - gone. Brain fog/low energy - gone. Migraines, itching, and bloating basically all stopped once I stopped eating gluten.
thanks for the info kate i did it too and i think minds was around that time and that seems about right the first week u flushing and then the second week u getting better and by the end of that week u ggod @@katelynnecadena9587
100 the same and headaches etc every Dr was giving me tablets for other things then specialist in Jan of 2021 diagnosed me with Hashimoto and medicine was changed and told immediately to give up Gluten I was like “Whatever” I had the test for celiac but said hey and guess what within 2 days the difference was unreal so I knew he was right all these years eh!
I have post nasal drip for one year! With cough and bad mood! I visited several doctors! No one give me a reason about my condition! I am pretty sure that products with gluten cause me all these symptoms! I also diagnosed with hashimoto also!!!!
@@ageliki19 honestly give up Gluten I was the same going to the Dr as soon as I would lie down I’d notice the post nasal drip and it is disgusting I thought it was in my head until I was diagnosed with Hashimotos gave up gluten and all the sinus issues disappeared over night - I went back in gluten after 6 months thinking I was going to be ok and BOOM it happened again along with gunk in my eyes etc I said right this is definitely a sign to give up so I did for good now and I read all products carefully.
Cutting out gluten was the best decision I ever made. I was having daily pain for YEARS. Started getting stabbing pains daily, dermatitis, eating but not gaining any weight, nerve damage, intestine inflammation, migraines, belly aches - the list goes onnnn
If you think you’re having a problem with gluten intolerance, this is probably worth the read. I was tested for food allergy’s about 30 years ago because of the severe reactions I was having right after eating almost every meal. Results of the test: I tested positive level 1 for apples, corn and pork. This was all on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most severe. Now here’s the bad actor…for wheat, I tested at 5+. As I recall, back then gluten was not listed in the list of product ingredients, but wheat sure was. So simple, right? Just don’t eat anything that listed wheat as an ingredient. But, back then, gluten wasn’t a “thing”, so finding food products with wheat alternatives was next to impossible. And, if you did find one, they tasted absolutely god-awful. So, I pretty much suffered with the nasty symptoms (which I will get to later) for the next ten or so years. And Then… enter the gluten-free craze! This was absolutely awesome! So now, things much different. My wife is extremely mindful of the listed ingredients of everything she buys, ensuring there are no wheat products indicated. And, I have also become an obsessive label reader. Whenever I have a snack craving when I’m by myself, I thoroughly read the labels. But, make no mistake, this obsessive compulsive behaviors did not happen instantaneously. It took me years to become totally compliant. Things like McDonald’s French fries are off my list now. Not only because of the chance of cross-contamination, but McDonald’s saw fit to add a wheat ingredient to the fry oil just to make the fries taste just that much better (better verify this yourself, all things on the internet aren’t necessarily true). Things are markedly better now. No more bloated belly right after eating. BTW, we also discovered that, unlike what the allergist told us, I couldn’t just limit the amount of wheat I ingested, I had to eliminate I entirely. Just the smallest amount and symptoms could last a week or so. And now to those nasty symptoms… Of course the worst was the bloated belly.. it was like a swallowed a basketball. There was also bad breath, sore joints, brain fog and probably a couple more I have forgotten. Oh yes…the stinky horrible farts. You know the kind, just the tiniest amount of gas, and everyone on that entire level of the house would go running. [lactose intolerance could have also contributed]. I’m so lucky my wife didn’t leave me. AND then there’s the pooping. This was absolutely the worst. Constant diarrhea, and the odor was horrible, kind of like the farts. Okay, this is the hardest to talk about…. Sticky poop. First everything’s sticks to the bowl so there is extensive cleanup after. And it also sticks to your butt. The best way to describe it is it’s like trying to clean peanut butter off a shag carpet. There was a major investment in toilet paper in our household. And my final word, if you choose to go truly gluten free, there is no half way attempt. It needs to be 100 percent or you’re just wasting your time. Just as a summary comment, after following a strict gluten-free diet for the past 15 or so years, I am for the most part, symptom-free.
@@KJ-nv9uz Yes, mcDonalds is sneaky with their ingredients. I pretty much avoid them altogether. If I’m eating a quick lunch out, I tend to stick with Five-Guys or Firehouse Subs. As far as I can tell, the only thing that goes into the Five-Guys fryers are the french fries. So for me, they have been safe to eat.
@@harlenedelantar5111 Unless I make a mistake, I stay off all gluten containing products. However, that being said, I was diagnosed with my wheat allergy more than 30-years ago but back then the word “gluten” wasn’t in our vocabulary. I was also tested for Celiac Disease, but tested negative. It might be that I could just avoid wheat, but include gluten. That would make life way too complicated. I just avoid anything with wheat in the ingredients. So, what do I eat? Their are many types of gluten free breads - Udis and many others. If you live in or near a city, gluten free stuff is pretty easy to find, however I have found the closer I get to rural America the more difficult it gets. If you have any doubts whether or not you have an allergy, I would encourage you to get thee to a allergist and get tested. Then you will know for sure. Some of the things I can eat……Gluten free bread, chick pea flower, pancakes made with buck wheat flour, spaghetti made from rice (many other types), Costco has gluten free frozen pizza that’s not bad, crusts mad with cauliflower I fine to be the tastiest. But,be warned, everything with gluten free on the label is more expensive. And, tends to be higher in calories. Then sometimes add extra sweetener to make up for the lack of taste. Hope this helps.
@@harlenedelantar5111 puddings are ok if you make a biscuit base with gluten free biscuits. Ginger are nice. Expensive though so make a thinner base. I have gluten free pitta bread for sandwiches. I use rice flour for crumble mix. More fruit than crumble advisable. Toast I use Warburtons bloomer. I tried most of the other breads ugh. I found gluten-free croissant. But can’t remember where 😊😊hope this helps.
2. Anxiety 3. allergies 4. frequently sick 5. sudden joint pain 6. low energy 8. migraines 9. Nutrient deficiences (low iron, b12 and Vitamin C) Stating to go gluten free, thanks for all the info
Fatigue (Right after ingesting), allergic symptoms (Sneezing, congested sinuses, headache), hypothyroidism, iodine deficiency, weight gain and insulin resistance. I don’t do well on grains at all, and have learned it’s best for me to eliminate them completely from my diet!
I once went gluten free and never felt better, more energy, less anxiety and depression. Overall the best months of my life. I got lazy with it and now i started wondering why all of my symptoms came back and i feel so tired all the time, loose stools, anxious. Rash on my face. I’m gonna go gluten free again and probably never go back after this.
We have all been there I only went gluten free in Jan thanks to the specialist then cheated and thought I’m fine I was back on gluten for 4 weeks but felt totally off then full blown sinus infection which was telling me to go off it again and I felt more sad for some reason as soon as you give it up you feel happy again it’s honestly so weird how such a thing and do this.
@@Fusiondancers I agree, the change in feeling better is almost immediate, you no longer feel pain and bloating after meals and you kind of learn to expect it so it’s strange when it doesn’t happen and you’re like “wait this is how people normally feel after eating?” I’m sure eventually you can have a cheat meal here and there but it’s a long journey to give up gluten for good.
You are RIGHT ON! This happened to me! My doctor is very smart and noticed my blood work showed that I was probably allergic to something causing my levels to be totally off! She tested me again specifically for allergies. Wheat came up as totally off the charts. That was over four years ago. I went to a GI specialist who confirmed that I have IBSD. SO, FOR YEARS I SUFFERED WITH GASTRIC PROBLEMS WITHOUT KNOWING WHY. I’ve been gluten-free since! I do not have Celiac disease. Thankfully I had a very smart doctor who helped me figure it out. Be well everyone! 💞💞💞🙏🙋🏻♀️
I have been on the hypothyroidism roller-coaster ride for almost 6 yrs now. Recently got a Hashimotos diagnosis and I'm trying to figure new meals and eating habits....I came across your video while looking for gluten free meal ideas...I'm just sitting here with my mouth open in shock right now....I have EVERY SYMPTOM! I'm so tired of feeling sick and tired! I'm really kind of relieved to hear all this information in such a clear precise way...EVERYTHING is so overwhelming and hard lately bc of the fatigue and brain fog..so thank you!
I’ve been gluten intolerant for 20 years and on a strict gluten free diet because I’m highly sensitive to it. But I still have auto immune symptoms, joint pain, headaches, low energy, brain fog and IBS type symptoms. I went to Europe for almost three weeks and discovered I can eat everything I want with absolutely zero problems. I would love to feel better but we’ve ruined our food and it’s nutritional value here in America.
Theres gluten in European food too unless naturally gluten free or declared free from... I live in Europe and cant eat it. Perhaps Gluten isn't a prob after all if you ate foods which usually contain it whilst here and was fine? Unfortunately the same crap is in our foods too. Maybe additives are named slightly different but thats about it
I had migraines, muscle & joint aches, brain fog with memory & sleep problems, horrible rashes and irritable bowel. A friend who was gluten intolerant kept telling, me to eliminate gluten but I said I couldn’t because that was too hard. It is very difficult to eliminate gluten but very well worth it to be well. You will learn about what foods make you sick & you can learn to avoid them. I am still learning to not allow foods that are bad for me to control me. Give it a try. It might be the answer to your health problems too. Good luck!
I went gluten free around 9 months ago! This is so true. I tested negative to celiac, but have been diagnosed with auto immune disease. Giving this a try is a must. I am doing wonderful!
Important to be aware that even if tested negative for celiac/coeliac you may still have coeliac. The blood test is a farce and gives more false negatives than doctors are aware. It only tests for one strand of peptide reaction (there are a couple of hundred) and not everyone produces the antibodies for positive test result even if they have coeliac. If you have all the symptoms but a negative blood test it is important for your doctor to test for the antibody deficiency and still refer for biopsy. The blood test alone is a poor diagnosis, and many go years being told they do not have coeliac on the basis of that blood test to find out later down the line via different testing protocol that they do have coeliac.
@@reneeadolph1309 ohh. My doctor has suggested for 6 weeks. If nothing improves after 6 weeks ( 3 weeks already done on gluten free), he says that he will rule out non-celiac gluten sensitivity because thats what he says is written in the guidelines. I wish there was a blood test for Non-celiac gluten sensitivity. Then i would be motivated enough to follow gluten free diet even beyond 6 weeks. But thank you for your reply. Stay blessed and healthy.
I would get headaches, cramps, joint soreness, nausea, sometimes throw up, mood swings, I was always kinda tired. Within a week of cutting out gluten I felt SO much better. And once I stopped "cheating" or "testing" myself with gluten from time to time, I felt so significantly better long term.
I needed pain killers everyday for 30 yrs for joint pain. I would wake up everyday feeling like I had been beaten with a baseball bat. I went gluten free and it was a miracle. I no longer have pain. No more painkillers. I can’t stress enough to people to just give it a try. Please you have nothing to lose except your pain.
I have extreme joint pain and I knew it was something I was eating because I drank water and only strawberries for two days and then I realized I had no pain
I firmly believe that 50% of the foods we eat have a bad effect on our bodies. It I eat chocolate ( which I love) I get extremely anxious the next day until the revelation comes ( you stupid woman you know it’s the chocolate)🙈
Thank you for this information that you are sharing. I discovered that I am gluten intolerant around six or seven years ago. I decided to go GF on my own because I was miserable with all of the symptoms that I had been experiencing for years. All my doctor did for me was diagnose me with IBS and write me out different prescriptions which led me nowhere. I decided to go off medication and went completely gluten free. It has been a life saver for me. No medications. No gluten. I still have to watch certain trigger foods. It is hard at first making that change, reading all the labels, etc. Yet, it does get easier and it is so worth it! Thank you for being the voice that people need to hear! I wish I had heard you years ago. Keep sharing.
For almost 40 years I didn't know what a "normal" digestion felt like. Whom I said I was constipated or had loose stools or gasor bloating, doctors said : it's normal, we all have get this or that some times. So little me didn't know that "every other day" was not what then meant by sometimes. I left gluten and dairy and wow... 2 years later in still mind blown. And I realized I do have a waistline after all! I can't believe all those extra sizes were from bloating and not fatness. And don't get me started listing all other symptoms that have dissipated with I GF diet! too many to type. but the most important is the mental health ones. Living life without crippling depression is... I have no words.
I was formally diagnosed with CD and I didn’t release the link between anxiety and gluten! Explains so much, only been GF since April and I find myself handling emotional things much better.
@@rachelmarie2228 actually, for people with a gluten intolerance, gluten raises inflammation in the body, which puts stress on the body, which can then cause anxiety. eliminating the source of inflammation can reduce the anxiety.
@@levifox525 agreed that's why I just recently went gluten free for the past 3 days. I would be bloated everyday and it would feel hard to breathe and my blood pressure felt high. I love the comments. You all have further educated me as a newly diagnosed person. The symptoms all describe my life. I’ve only been diagnosed for 2 weeks, Hair thinning is my worst symptom. My new endocrinologist recommended that I run from gluten like the plague. I’ve noticed the difference thus far. Looking forward to better days
Hey I'm in the same boat. Can you give any tips? Been diagnosed about 2 years ago from terrible stomach pains. Quick solution but keep with gluten now years later hair thinning and low iron. Did you hair grow back? And how long before symptoms went away?
I seeked answers for the stomach issues. After going gluten free I realized it help my energy levels, my brain fog, my tension headaches, and so far my vitamin d and b12 levels have stayed in check since. I fill 100 times better. The change isn't easy but is absolutely worth it.
I've never been officially diagnosed with gluten intolerance, I'm scared of doctors so I don't go often. I had a lot of these symptoms and went GF 4 years ago. I feel so much better.
This was so informative and helpful. I am gluten intolerant, and my daughter is Celiac. We learned a lot here today. Thank you for doing this. Be blessed.
You did forget the most common symptom, bowel movement. There are two types of this bound up or loose stools, and if you notice either one people are misdiagnosed a lot with IBS when in actuality it is a Gluten intolerance or full on Celiac
I was suffering from this for years. Only when I went gluten free did my bowels become completely normal. Thought that wasn't even possible after years of suffering.
@@beth6703 The same happened to me misdiagnosed for years with IBS, and then got a new doctor and they did some testing and found out my gluten problem. I am much better now that I know what was literally killing me.
This was a biggieeee - sometimes 8 times a day, felt like I was never finished and it often felt like glass coming out (sorry eeeesh) but if you happen to read this and you're experiencing this sort of pain...gluten may be the culprit lol
Yes this! I switched to Breads that had a lot of nuts in them and decent fiber content but I was still unable to pass a bowel movement. And I would feel bloated after eating the bread. This morning I ate gluten free bread with a meal and I feel fantastic! Also my duodenum isn't feeling bad at all which I believe was the cause of my heartburn after eating gluten. My body was working ot trying to process that thick sticky mess
I have 6 of these for sure. I've been tested for celiac more times than I can count but was never diagnosed. My grandpa had celiac disease. I finally went gluten free a few months ago and feel a lot better. I'm not 100%, but I have other issues, too. I'm definitely posting this to FaceBook for all my friends and family!
Wow, this video connected a lot of dots for me. It's so weird how, as you said, you tend to not notice problems you've dealt with for a long time that started off mild and my only be moderate after decades of slowly worsening, THEN, you cut out Gluten and BAM!!!! You feel 20-30-40 years younger! Thank you for such a great summation. Take care and God bless.
My 42 year old daughter has celiac disease. She was diagnosed when she 11 years old. She also has Down syndrome and knows nearly instantly if she’s somehow gotten a tiny bit of gluten. She was diagnosed by a biopsy of her stomach lining. It’s tough but I’m really thankful that there are so many gf products available to us these days.
I've stopped eating bread and pasta and my fatigue has pretty much gone and I have much more energy. Now when I have bread I get tired very quickly. It's a shame, love bread haha.
@@unolowmanta7508 you can still eat bread and pasta, look for the gluten free options which are usually made from rice and other grains. And rice is gluten free
Thank you so much beautiful girly!!! You hit it right on the nail. I am RH negative and this predisposes me to many allergies and auto immune problems. Gluten just kills me! I am deadly sick right now because I have been eating lots of flour! Flour tortillas to be exact. I feel awful. Horrible joint pain! I can hardly walk, I have brain fog, I feel exhausted and very low energy, anxiety kicked in, and I have a headache from hell. Omg gluten allergy is so debilitating!!!
I had a sudden onset of really bad adult acne a few years ago and after several lotions and potions from a dermatologist, it was a trip to the ER that saved my skin. I was there for an eye injury but the doctor that saw me was more concerned with my face and told me to stop eating gluten and dairy-- within days my face began to heal.
I know how you feel.. I’ve developed acne a few years back and my eczema came back after being gone for almost 10 years. I’m lactose intolerant and thought that cutting this out would help me. It got a little better but was still so bad that there were many nights I couldn’t sleep because of all the itching. I started cutting out gluten, especially wheat from my diet and now I’m so much better
I have all those symptoms and am now on an elimination diet. Gluten is a definite intolerance, so is dairy. Still have some groups to restart but cutting out gluten and dairy is life changing!
i've been gluten free for few days, just as an experiment. i was really surprised that my asthma and hayfever have eased. it'll be interesting to see what it's like in a month.
OMG!! Thank you for the video. You pretty much described my whole adult life! Wow that is spot on. I tested for celiac disease about 15 years ago but several months before my test, I finally figured out after years of trying different diets that gluten was the reason for my symptoms so when I was tested I wasn't currently eating gluten so although my results were borderline, I wasn't about to go back to eating gluten so I have considered myself gluten intolerant since then. But brain fog and anxiety were some of the symptoms that they didn't attribute to gluten intolerance at the time and said it had nothing to do with it so they thought I was crazy! So thank you for your great video!
Wow…I just recently started having a severe reaction-extreme abdominal/torso pain after eating pizza and rye bread. I am wondering if I have had a low level intolerance for many years. But My body is now saying no more hence such severe reaction. I too have suffered with anxiety for years-some due to trauma but maybe this is ‘messing’ me up too. Glad to hear you figured it out and now can tell others to screw themselves when they try an tell you you are crazy. Cheers to good health!
Depression, anxiety and severe mood swings are my most apparent symptoms. It’s literally within minutes after eating gluten. Other symptoms are: 1. My scalp feels like it caught on fire and it itches like crazy 2. My skin also becomes itchy but not like my scalp 3. Headaches 4. Restlessness which leads to sleeping issues 5. Immediate stomach bloating 6. Trapped gas 7. Abdominal pains 5.
Kait, you have such wonderful optimism in your communication. Not only have you helped me on my health journey (I’ve lost 8 kgs over the past 3 months) but I am constantly buoyed by your positivity. I am grateful to you. My kids enjoy having a more active father, too. BTW, I am an Australian but lived with Canadians overseas many years ago. They’re my favourite people. Thank you, Charles
Hey, I found out just over a year ago that I am gluten-intolerant. Took a while. I am Italian-Canadian. I used to be Bipolar. I am not taking any meds anymore. I went gluten-free and I am not Bipolar anymore. But it’s obvious now that the root cause of my gluten-intolerance is related to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Please if you have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome or suspect that you do, please ask a professional about taking collagen supplements. EDS affects the connective tissue obviously. And yes this causes joint pain, too
I had 95% if the symptoms for celiac disease before going gluten free and it too over a YEAR for the symptoms to mostly disappear and now my mouth tingles with exposure to the point I can tell if there's heavy cross contamination. I've gotten a LOT better in the last 5 years and refused testing when they told me I'd have to suffer for 3 months to get conclusive results. Now I did learn MCAS can cause random food sensitivities and allergic reactions after we connected the dots with other symptoms i have
@@denisenourse8462 I'm ok, I have a ton of skin reactions to random things but the only ones I don't totally avoid are my garden veggies. For some reason cucumber leaves, squash leaves, and bean leaves make me break out in a rash. My first real hint to MCAS is that I'm allergic to stress and break out in hives! Allergy meds help and hydrocortisone. Im still being refused testing because it's "not a huge concern" yet
I got very itchy blisters on my elbows, knees, front and back hairline, and ears. They started to erupt the beginning of Summer when I was in the garden, and went in cycles. When the blisters began to subside, a new round would appear. This went from late Spring to early September. I got bloodwork and a biopsy which showed it was worse than Contact Dermatitis like my PCP said, it was Dermatitis Herpetiformis, caused by a Gluten Sensitivity and Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disorder For four weeks I went cold-turkey off all Gluten. The blisters went away. Recently, I got a salad on which had Gluten bread croutons. I picked them off, but there were tiny crumbs left behind. I now have blisters around my hairline. Food for thought.
0:17 I am 75 yrs. Never went to a doctor until 5 years ago. Never used medications. Over years realized some foods were not digestible. Attributed migraines to back ache and only used a chiropractor. Being overly well, I never thought it possible to have histamine, gluten, carbohydrate resistance. 5 years ago, tired and slept more. No other symptoms. My son took me to a doctor. I was shocked to hear I had serious thyroid deficiency and high blood pressure, starting treatment. My first serious problems showed up just before the pandemic. Eating a banana, I just collapsed. Tests showed nothing. For 3 weeks I just drank Ensure. Then the pandemic struck. Another round of weeks contracting the virus. Since then, my doctor advised less starch, etc. I tolerated less and less foods. At this stage, eating very low fatty foods, "healthy" fruits, vegetables, rye bread. Constantly constipated, eating just to swallow an anti acid to get the irritation out of my system. Always an oesophagus remedy. The last few weeks I had a very bad odor urine smell, no other complaints. While getting my thyroid and blood pressure medication, I asked for a urine test. It was vaginal syphilis bacteria. Immediately taken of my antidepressant Purata, according to drs, the culprit. It made a big difference to my brainfog. But while wating for my turn to see the dr, I desperately searched on internet why, eating less, I still felt unhealthy, serious heartburn, headaches, constipation, bloating, memory loss, sleeplessness, tired as soon as I ate certain foods. 6 months ago, I became more desperate. To eat, inmediate oesophagus, etc was affecting me psychologically. I turned to Carnivore, but not really believing I need to actually evaluate vegetables and fruits, carbohydrates, diary too. Within the first week my heartburn and esophagus, which was usually so bad I could not breathe, evaporated. I don't even buy antacids now. In any case, HISTAMINE INTOLLERANCE, FODMAP, IBS, popped onto my screen. It is eye opening. Since the pandemic illness, for 5 years now I constantly had a runny itchy nose (wetnose), sneezed which made me cough. I attributed this to post virus symptoms. Frustrating. And nothing helps. To read that there is an order to the disorder!!! I read as much I could in a few days. Nobody tells us about enzymes, only electrolytes. Off the antidepressant, this first week was a nightmare not sleeping at all during the night. This was my first priority. I bought Magnesium Glycenate. I slept !! Every food I try I look at the FODMAP and IBS levels. I temporarily eat the meat, egg, vegetable separate to ascertain the symptoms. No fruit now. I keep a diary. Switching drastically from eating less and less to more. We are all searching for solutions to just feel well. This is not about eating and eating. We can only eat till satisfied. Financially nobody can. With carnivore as the main dish, I add. So far I control the bloating, other symptoms. If I am sneezing less, as well as runny nose, I believe this is what went wrong with me. I feel good. I appreciate this article and will also listen to the gluten, carbohydrates, insulin ones, affiliating foods. We learn and adjust all the time. If I still do not improve I will see to the DAO too. This is a journey
My dad is a Celiac so I've been tested as I've had gut issues since birth. Supposedly, I don't have Celiac Disease, but I definitely have a gluten intolerance and showed some antibodies. A weird symptom I had for years that I didn't know was related to gluten was really bad sores up inside my nose. These were painful, scabby, bloody sores deeply inside my nasal passages. They went away when I got off gluten years ago.
Anxiety...may come from inflammation, which can affect the way thyroid hormones are converted at the cell level. In the presence of inflammation, T4 gets co verted to reverse T3 which tells the cells to make less energy. 🤔 I think that can cause anxiety because the body uses the metabolic mechanism that gets turned on when someone is anxious...so it can have the energy it needs. 🤔 Anxiety burns out the adrenals. Chronic inflammation can over work and burn out adrenals as well. So I am guessing the anxiety kicking in adrenals for the body to have energy is what happens. Addressing all food allergies is a good idea, but so is addressing gut yeast because it can bore holes in the gut and let in food particles only partially digested. This is why diets so important for some ppl vs others..because some ppl with certain genes can replace the gut lining faster than others. If you are a slow gut lining replacer, so to speak, you can be prone to food allergies, allergies, anxiety, adrenal burnout, chronic fatigue, fibro, immune dysfunction, etc. A lower sugar diet with more beans intead of fruit, juices, pop, cookies, sweets, potatoes, rice, etc is a good idea. 👍
@@ozzythestunnerI have recently been told to stop gluten by my osteopath. She said that my shortness of breath could be related to gluten intolerance but didn’t explain how
I'm at this very moment dealing with severe skin rashes, anxiety, and low energy/brain fog: I went on a sort of "baking binge" to reduce our grocery bill, including an attempt to make sourdough at home. I had the symptoms before my "Manhattan project scale muffin project", but my exposure to a high-concentration of wheat products set off a cascade of really pronounced symptoms. Steroid treatments seem to be mitigating the rashes, and, while hard to quantify, I feel better overall in the week since removing ALL wheat-based products from my diet. Your list REALLY clarified what I've experienced.
I found your video while looking for gluten free bread recipes because I THOUGHT I might have an issue. Well all be dam, I have 8 out of 9 early symptoms. Thank you so much for this video. Now off to see what else I can learn from Health Coach Kait. ❤😊
One of my most painful symptoms of gluten intolerance has been extreme muscle fatigue. I assume it is caused by that because the pain is gone as long as I'm gluten free. God, it's so freakin' painful. Couldn't even walk a half mile without my legs hurting. Never had joint pain though.
For years, I had the symptoms and brushed them off as something else. I was scared of cutting it out of my diet, but once I cut it out, I felt much better
Thanks to videos like yours I can feel like I’m not crazy lol, this thing it’s serious (at least for me), I got tested for celiac disease and thanks GOD I was negative, but most definitely i feel that I’m gluten intolerant cuz pretty much I have ALL the symptoms that you describe and as soon as I stop eat gluten for a couple of days I feel so much better! Thank you for posting this type of information!
recently I've had quite bad anxiety and stress and many of these symptoms. doctors thought it was an infection so I was put on meds for that, then ibs and now I think I'm going to see if its gluten intolerance. this video was so helpful. 🖤🖤🖤
All but # 7. I went gluten free in May 2021 and have seen a positive health change (i.e.- ocular migraine auras have disappeared, anxiety has improved greatly, intestinal blowouts stopped) Had a blood test in Nov. 2021 and it came up positive for 1 of the 2 serum Celiac markers. I'm asking my 26 year old son and 23 year old daughter to get the same blood test I had. I don't want them to go undiagnosed like I was for so long. If they don't have what I have, great, but if they do they can make a change now and avoid the chronic health problems associated with Gl, GS and/or CD. Thanks :)
After doing extensive scientific research (yes, I mean that literally because I’m currently doing a META analysis) on endometriosis and gluten - there is most definitely a link between gluten and inflammation within women who have endometriosis and other inflammatory disorders such as IBS. The signs and symptoms of IBS and the GI portion of endometriosis are very similar. Though gluten-free is not officially prescribed for any condition other than Celiac, I think it’s so important to speak with a RD (if you aren’t able to understand the information on your own) if you have a chronic inflammatory condition. Of course, primarily receiving a diagnosis from a physician would be prime, but sometimes those of us with non-obvious chronic conditions have a hard time receiving a diagnosis. This is a situation in which practicing slow elimination of items in your diet and having a food diary to observe with your dietician could make a massive difference! My body responded so amazingly to a gluten free/low-gluten diet. Even now, I eat gluten when I want sweets/pasta/etc. but usually feel the consequences within the couple of days after. Cutting out gluten when it’s uncalled for can have unintentional negative consequences, so please be weary and seek professional assistance is accessible to you. If it is not, please make sure to get a variety of other grains as well as vitamins and minerals that we typically get from gluten-ful foods.
It's not just gluten. Dairy, sugar, alcohol, all soy products including soy sauce (I get huge flare ups whenever I go out to eat sushi), deep fried/fast food and basically all processed foods too, seeds, cereals (except for plain white rice in moderation) and all types of beans, in my experience I'd even add all processed meats but also non grass fed meat as well, unfortunately most of the pre packaged cuts of meat on the lower price range are loaded with hormones they inject animals with to make them gain weight fast, so it's more profitable for the business, women with endometriosis are highly sensitive to those hormones, and they can have inflammatory response to them even when they're on an apparently "clean diet" free from all the mentioned above. The best diet for endometriosis is a omega 3 rich diet with lots of fish like fresh salmon and sardines, free range eggs and chicken, nuts and olives, olive oil, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, green vegetables are the best options, occasionally small amounts of boiled root vegetables or rice are tolerable.
Growing up in the south its really hard for me to take any of this seriously but I noticed a huge increase of acid reflux after drinking beer with a higher level of wheat parlery and hops and thought maybe its connected. I never thought about the anxiety, joint pain, allergies or trouble sleeping as a possible gluton issue. Im still going to research further into this but thank you for you informative video.
I’m gluten intolerant and have all 9. I’ve been gluten free for 2 years now and still suffer from migraines, diet is an on going battle, good luck guys 💛
I was diagnosed with celiac disease when I was rushed to New Orleans bc I was going into cardiac arrest. My thyroid levels were off the charts. They could not get my heart rate or my blood pressure to become stable. I already had severe GAD AND PTSD and now I have Graves disease, Hashimo disease, Thyroiditis, Fibromyalgia, and the list goes on and on. When you tell someone you can't eat gluten they have no idea how awful this disease is. After I had my thyroid gland taken out I went from 91 lbs to 123 in a few months. Now I am back down to 93 lbs because I can't eat a lot of foods. Plus all the different auto immune diseases are attacking each other. I am totally miserable. I think that celiac disease is the most miserable disease to have. The anxiety, insomnia, brain fog, depression and the severe fatigue is PURE TORTURE. God bless whoever has this disease. My heart goes out to each and every one of you,.🥺🙏
i had cronic knee pain for 10 years and could not figure out why. i was diagnosed with hypothyroisism and was immediately told to be exclusively gluten free. after a very short time, my knee pain began to subside. i feel sooo much better and have tons more energy! just sorry i didnt know about gluten intolerance earlier.
I was hoping you would have said neurological problems as well (muscle twitching) etc. That is the way my gluten intolerance presented itself and it was pretty scary until I figured out the culprit was gluten.
Mine was twitching in my head. I literally freaked out went to hospital 13 times last year no one still can diagnose me. A group on Facebook with people who experienced the same things lead me here and I think I’m gluten intolerant.
I had neuropathic pain for almost a year until I was diagnosed w/celiac.It took a good 3months but when I stay on track the pain is maintained. Thankfully.
Thank you for a comprehensive lecture on the subject. I knew nothing on the subject, until lately. I experienced swelling under my eyes whenever I consumed wheat products.
Thank you for making this so easy to understand. We live out in the country and over a course of a few months I would get sick while clear in town. 3 times I couldn’t make it home and had the dumping syndrome. I couldn’t understand what was happening to me. And I have little kids. Imagine being in town and that hit you. Found out I have a gluten allergy. I get brain fog for sure and fatigue. I know I need to go completely gluten free but it’s so hard. It’s not cheap, even making from scratch.
I've known I am coeliac for about 8 years, and have strictly followed the diet since then. However, only after being strictly carnivore for the past 6 months have my symptoms fully disappeared. Good luck to others who are struggling.
As much trouble as the colonoscopies/endoscopies are to schedule, prepare for, and have done I wish they would take more than 3 samples. Even most GI specialists don't seem to be aware how in un-uniform intestinal damage can be. I have known people who have pushed for 2nd and 3rd endoscopies and had negative results initially that were not caught until the 3rd scope. Why? Because the intestines are very very long and autoimmune damage from CD or other IBDs is not uniform and doesn't cover the entire intestinal tract. It is spotty and random. Yet most GI doctors that I have spoken to seem to believe that if 1 random spot in the small intestine isn't damaged that everything is all good.
@@LondonBridge99 People seem to have different definitions, but I only eat animal products with absolutely no seasonings or veggies or cheat meals. Let me know if I can help in any way.
I always become super tired and have a lot of bloating and brain fog after eating that crap so I've decided to stop hurting myself and stop eating it!!!! I want my energy back!! Thank You so much for this video!!
Anxiety, joint pain, Fatigue, brain fog, low nutrient (near deficiency) but I got tested with a gastroenterologist and tested negative for everything. Still all symptoms improve when cutting out gluten and saturated fat in diary.
#8 was me my jr year of high school, I had a 3 week long light sensitivity headache… major allergy tests showed I had a reaction to gluten along with 75% of the things they tested me for. Now my intolerance shows up in a visible way as “inflammation” and it can be seen in my neck and jaw line.
Thank you for this video. I've been gluten intolerant for over 20 years. Other than my husband no one really understands the difference between Celiac and g intolerant. I have been susceptible to unexplained allergies and random skin rashes. The headaches are the worst symptom. But if I continue eating that pizza or pasta my stomach turns rock hard and hurts. People don't understand that it doesn't hurt like an upset stomach but rather hurts like a sprained muscle. I didn't associate all my other health issues with the g intolerance until you explained it. It has really helped me understand the importance of staying away from gluten.... period. Have a blessed New Year and thank you for making this video just for me 💚
1. atopic dermatitis 2. joint pain 3. low energy 4. headaches 5. nutrient deficiency (apart from the GI symptoms!) I really think I may have this. I'll be trying a gluten-free diet for a few weeks to see if there's any improvement in my health. This is a great video. Thank you!
@@Adam-de8yi it's been a year and I really noticed a change after going gluten free. No more headaches and random needling pain in my body. Thanks for asking.
Same. Daily headaches and migraines all my life. Greatly reduced in frequency and intensity since going gluten free. Edit: also other symptoms that have gone away or stopped progressing are 1) arthritic swellings in my finger joints 2) restless legs syndrome 3) gut problems (fissures, alternating with diarrhea and constipation, bloating) 4) low level depression ongoing since childhood. 5) general body aches and pain
100 same I used to take Nurofen it was so bad that killed my stomach but released the pain in my head gave up gluten and honestly laughed cause headache and migraine went I’m off it since Jan and couldn’t believe how it was affecting me - thanks to the specialist he told me.
I went gluten free in 2006 when I was told I was allergic to wheat. The migraines stopped. I have had everything on this list except for infertility. Plus bowel issues.
Very interesting….I was having upper abdominal pain (esophagus) that made me cry, these episodes left me weak and felt like I was going to faint along with regurgitation. I thought it had to do with my acid reflux. After going through various tests with my GI for acid reflux I thought about gluten. I also have experienced allergies and migraines for a while now…I got tested for many allergens and gluten came back negative. I also experienced low energy and didn’t want to do anything…2 months ago I decided to cut gluten out of my diet due to the suggestion from my sister and a friend and I have not had any more pain. I highly recommend anybody going through these symptoms to give it a try and cut gluten out of your diet and see if it makes a difference because it has sure made a difference in my life!
Same here but was fainting and had to lie on the floor until episode passed. Doctors didn't see this as a problem. Saw a NP instead of GI doc and she is doing allergy testing and referred me to a dietician. She listened and her treatment plan is working.
Me too, I had to vomit to get rid of the ‘toxin’ otherwise I think I may have fainted. Definitely gave me almost immediate relief. Oh boy, this stinks-just started having theses symptoms and I’m 61!! If you have any suggestions on any gluten free products you like, I would welcome them.

I have 5 symptoms. 1 unknown symptom. I have been seeking help from my doctors for 2 years and not 1 doc has suggested Celiac or gluten intolerance. Thankyou Dr. Kait. Honorary doctor 😁
Everytime I ate gluten I got constipated. Gave up gluten 4 years and everything is sorted out. The moment I eat 2 pizza slices with gluten, or a burger made with gluten I get constipated again. So the issue is real. Gluten intolerance!!! I have avoided eating gluten from 4 years and I feel the best. Even if I eat gluten for 1 day I get constipated next day. Which never happens if I don't eat gluten. I try to eat gluten once in 6 months but It always have, always gave me constipation issues. I avoid it 99.9999% times. I hate gluten
I have celiac disease and have went gluten free for 6 months. I still do feel stomach pain or joint pain sometimes but my lack of appetite is better and I feel more energetic!
I have 7 of the 9. I'm 44 yrs old and have had many of these symptoms for years. I also have hypothyroidism and my symptoms have always been blamed on that. I'm going to ask be tested on my next doctor visit.
Hi Kait. Been working on new art online. Do well. Been eating tasty salmon, turmeric, ginger, dates, and other things to strengthen my body. Been taking care of myself a lot better. Thanks for the messages.
Gluten intolerance here, I get brain fog, bloating, joint aches, muscle pain and headache, and blood flow irregularities… I feel like a totally different person since I stopped eating it, I feel amazing since I figured out the intolerance. I also have an intolerance to palm oil and sunflower. Once I figured out the symptoms of my intolerance I was able to eliminate what was causing me so much discomfort.
Oh yes. My headaches, fatigue, arthritis & belly pain went away completely when I gave up gluten 12 yrs ago. Recently, I've been having some of the same old symptoms when I eat dairy. That may be my next elimination 🤔
@@HealthCoachKait I definitely don't do well with lots of gluten free carbs! I gave up gluten free breads & pastas 16 months ago and went strict, clean Keto. What a difference that made! I keep net carbs under about 25. I think the sugar I was eating before Keto was messing with my gut microbiome as well. I'm gonna give up dairy now too. I mean, cow's milk is for calves not humans, right??! 😂 Maybe I'll live to see 100 👍
I had rashes all over my body, chronic headaches, iron, protein, and b12 deficiency, anxiety, terrible allergies, low energy, chronic constipation, I always got sick, and I had extreme fatigue and brain fog. I cut out gluten and now I feel amazing
I tested negative for gluten intolerance, but as I was told, the test I've done is not 100% reliable (like what?! 🤷🏼♀️). I have occasional hip pain, rashes, itchy eyes, sinus congestion, I had a nasal polip removed, eczema and anxiety. I know for sure that I'm casein intolerant, but I might also be on the gluten spectrum too.
You can't actually 'test' for intolerances in a medical sense. The body produces antibodies for allergic reactions that can be tested for/measured for, but not for intolerances. The only way to determine intolerance is the 'elimination diet' - cut out the suspected offending food and then reintroduce and determine any intolerance. If you are referring to the actual coeliac test, that is not test for intolerance but a test for an autoimmunce disease (coeliac). I've left a comment above on that.
@Sam Ulzzan it's a blood test and it includes different allergenes (gluten, dust mites, lactose, egg white, nuts, etc) . Allergies and intolerances are different things, as mentioned above, and I'm very confused about this whole affair. Seems like a good topic for a video )))
Going gluten free helped my anxiety and brain fog and joint pain, but I am still having some symptoms with other carbs. But still overall better than when I was eating gluten.
I went off gluten 25 years ago because of constant runny nose, frequent colds, stomach and digestive issues. fatigue. After a only a few days, my constantly running nose dried up. After years of not eating it, I accidently consumed part of a smoothie that had gluten in it (I did not expect it to be in there and did not check) and felt the beginnings of an allergic reaction- swelling around the mouth. I took a Benadryl and it got better. But this is real. Gluten is also bad for people with IBS and it is recommended that they avoid it.
Diagnosed 12 years ago with Celiac. Once tested, I removed gluten from my diet and knew by the 3rd day, even before I received the test results. Anyone concerned, start reading labels on containers, products have wheat that you wouldn’t think do.
Michael A. Aguilar, "... products have wheat that you wouldn't think do." On top of that, foods that normally do not contain gluten themselves (like nuts) can be contaminated from equipment (conveyor belts, storage containers) that is also used with other foods that do. Ground spices may be dusted with wheat flour to keep them from clumping on conveyor belts (and not be identified on an ingredients list). Mushrooms can contain gluten if grown on stock that includes wheat debris. "Gluten Free!" labels also can not be trusted. One study found that up to 1/3 of the products labeled that way contained enough gluten to not qualify. Seemingly harmless ingredients like "malt flavoring" or "modified food starch" can contain gluten. It is impossible to eat any processed food or in almost any restaurant with confidence that you are not getting enough gluten to do damage. There are also lots of videos on youtube that explain that gluten is not the only problem with eating wheat, and that the others affect even people who are not intolerant to gluten or who do not have Celiac Disease. Some days I think the agricultural revolution may have been a huge mistake.
So, I decided to go on an elimination diet 8 years ago after having a cluster of issues I later understood to be tied to inflammation. I do not have autoimmune disease or celiacs but when you are gluten sensitive or intolerant, it creates inflammation in your body, which your body responds to by trying to throw the immune system behind it. I had twice monthly debilitating headaches / migraines, adult acne, fatigue, and my fingers and toes looked like snausages. I like to say that while I was eating gluten, it created a situation where immune system was trying to attack that "glu" ball in my gut and leaving the rest of my body to fend for itself. Once I got off gluten, the headaches were eliminated, the acne went away, the snausages were gone. So, even if people don't have any of the above symptoms, they may have a cluster of other things going on, including fatigue, any of my symptoms, or even depression. If gluten is a problem, those will be relieved by going off gluten for a minimum of two weeks and then when you rechallenge, you must consider how you feel after having eaten gluten for the next few days because there can be a delayed impact (e.g., headache). My response was immediately to be sick at both ends off of a very small amount of gluten. I also tend to recommend Dr. Arem's approach to resetting the thyroid before the elimination diet (he says 3-5 days of organic green tea, water, lime, and a bit of dark maple syrup to control the hunger signals). Even two days is helpful to cause a boost in energy and feel-good reset. He uses this with people who have leaky gut, which is often tied to gluten and other food intolerances. I'm so thankful I heard him on a podcast all those years ago because I was miserable with gluten sensitivity/ intolerance and there's no amount of cake or bread that will ever bring me back. And those were the days of very few good gf alternatives.
I did a gut test that showed gluten and dairy were high and very high. I have been struggling with fatigue and allergies for so long! I have been cutting gluten and dairy for two weeks now and starting to feel the results!
@@phoebegonzalez_ What Can i use because Im going through the same thing? Anything dairy and gluten and even if it stays gluten free I have to becareful, I have severe fatigue, and esonophilic asthma along with severe allergies Next week on Monday I see the gastroenterologist, I’m praying it’s not chrons or ceclic
I was tested for Celiac and I don't have that but I have been gluten intolerant my whole life. Brain fog, histamine, allergies, fatigue, migraines and joint pain is all better on strict Ketovore.
Mark Hulme , "... you may actually have Celiac." The gastroenterologist who gave me a diagnosis of IBS never even mentioned Celiac Disease, let alone tested for it. Doctors back then in the U.S. were taught that it was very rare, so they never bothered looking for it, so they never found it, reinforcing their belief that it was rare. Turns out it was about ten times more prevalent than they thought. Only after I had found out about Celiac on my own and eliminated gluten completely did I learn that a diagnosis could only be done while still consuming it. At that point I knew I would avoid eating anything with gluten for the rest of my life so I'll never know for sure. I guess if I had my DNA tested and had neither of the two genes associated with Celiac that would prove it was something else, or having them both might mean it is, but it does not seem worth the bother. Avoiding all sources of gluten is extremely difficult, but worth it to me to avoid the symptoms, no matter what causes them.
So interesting! I've recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune connective tissue disease, and am being tested for IBD which can be triggered by an autoimmune disease apparently, and have decided to cut out gluten and lactose to see what happens as I need to get my inflammation down. Lots of these symptoms fit me! I think overall why not cut out gluten in any case - like are there any benefits physically to gluten?? Makes better bread but does it benefit us at all?
Axinty and psychosis also Gluten has been implicated in a number of symptoms related to celiac disease that go beyond the digestive system, including rashes, anemia and headaches. But according to a recent case report, the wheat protein played a role in one woman's severe psychosis.Jun 22, 2016
I realize I may that as a child abd it would explain why do I feel so tired in the head and had problems with my kidneys. Now that I doing ketovore diet, I can concentrate so much better and feeling energetic. Plus my kidneys are looking healthier and I avoided the insulin shots.

Consider that McD GRILLED CHICKEN has gluten. We found that out the hard way.
Thank you so much for this! May I ask what kind of food you do eat? And do I just completely stay off wheat?

I wish you the discipline to do so. Go be your best self.

...... if you did allergy testing and wheat came on => you have WHEAT ALLERGY. Not celiac, not gluten sensitivity.
You can eat gluten, just no wheat.
I have hypothyroidism too but I don't look to UA-cam for answers. Follow your doctor's advice, not UA-cam.
Maybe additives are named slightly different but thats about it
I'm from France and cannot eat gluten to much otherwise I become emotional, my transit is disturbed, PMS etc.
@@amandinelrxI feel the same way too
You can stop dairy, and sugar.....these two also cause many helat problems.
Oh yes...and gluten free bread. , , gluten free pasta.... has to stop. Those are not good. Wheat has to stop. Not only gluten.
I am impressed by your streamlined delivery. Very clear and very distinct, no extra words given outside of the facts. That takes skill!
I had migraines, muscle & joint aches, brain fog with memory & sleep problems,
horrible rashes and irritable bowel.
🙏🙏
Important to be aware that even if tested negative for celiac/coeliac you may still have coeliac. The blood test is a farce and gives more false negatives than doctors are aware. It only tests for one strand of peptide reaction (there are a couple of hundred) and not everyone produces the antibodies for positive test result even if they have coeliac. If you have all the symptoms but a negative blood test it is important for your doctor to test for the antibody deficiency and still refer for biopsy. The blood test alone is a poor diagnosis, and many go years being told they do not have coeliac on the basis of that blood test to find out later down the line via different testing protocol that they do have coeliac.
did u feel any difference after 2-3 weeks of gluten free diet or did u start to feel difference after months?
@@hemantpahuja4114 it took about three months to really see a difference.
👏👏
This is me.
Me too.lol❤
I needed pain killers everyday for 30 yrs for joint pain. I would wake up everyday feeling like I had been beaten with a baseball bat. I went gluten free and it was a miracle. I no longer have pain. No more painkillers. I can’t stress enough to people to just give it a try. Please you have nothing to lose except your pain.
Stop painkillers. It will affect your kidney soon.
I have extreme joint pain and I knew it was something I was eating because I drank water and only strawberries for two days and then I realized I had no pain
Do you become irritable and angry?
I firmly believe that 50% of the foods we eat have a bad effect on our bodies. It I eat chocolate ( which I love) I get extremely anxious the next day until the revelation comes ( you stupid woman you know it’s the chocolate)🙈
Seriously me too! I contest! A miracle!! Shocked!
It's not really a link between gluten and anxiety, but autoimmune diseases can cause psychological problems.
I'm only 30 and stay fit, and very active, but right now I feel very anxious. Hope my body will adjust being gluten free, and not feel this way all the time.
We went gluten free and both my young daughters' eczima cleared up.
Amazing!
I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease just over a week ago - since then I have cut out all gluten and I am already starting to feel better.
Amazing!
Hi ginger, I feel fatigued and tired a lot and weak bowels. How are you feeling now? Also I have nasal problems
I've never been officially diagnosed with gluten intolerance, I'm scared of doctors so I don't go often. I had a lot of these symptoms and went GF 4 years ago. I feel so much better.
Probably a good fear, you'll live longer!
they would just give you a ppi and h2 blocker and send you on ur way.
Misdiagnosed? Or is diagnosis for profitable?
Celiac is inherited from a parent
I've stopped eating bread and pasta and my fatigue has pretty much gone and I have much more energy. Now when I have bread I get tired very quickly. It's a shame, love bread haha.
I feel you haha bread is so good 🥴 But feeling good is better
There are many GF bread options, check the frozen isle at the grocery store. Some are better than others just find one you enjoy.
What do you eat now. My main dishes always rice and pasta
Me to Rh negative so I m also having lots of symptoms
I have asthma too how it went for you after months
This is your imagination. You should be following a doctor's advice, not UA-cam.
Other symptoms are:
1. My scalp feels like it caught on fire and it itches like crazy
2. My skin also becomes itchy but not like my scalp
3. Headaches
4. Restlessness which leads to sleeping issues
5. Immediate stomach bloating
6. Trapped gas
7. Abdominal pains

Thank you for your kind words! It means a lot. Glad to hear you and your family are doing well! 🤗
Had all those symptoms, except migraines. I did pinpointed my gluten intolerance an eliminated totally. Now better than ever 👍🏻
Now I did learn MCAS can cause random food sensitivities and allergic reactions after we connected the dots with other symptoms i have
Another MCAS patient here. I hope
you're doing well. MCAS is no joke.
I got bloodwork and a biopsy which showed it was worse than Contact Dermatitis like my PCP said, it was Dermatitis Herpetiformis, caused by a Gluten Sensitivity and Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disorder
For four weeks I went cold-turkey off all Gluten.
Maybe h pylori? Praying for you
My dad is a Celiac so I've been tested as I've had gut issues since birth.
Do you think Gluten intolerance can cause shortness of breath?
Your list REALLY clarified what I've experienced.
wait I literally just searched for that and you literally posted this video 5 hours ago, crazy timing! thanks
Read your mind 😎

Thanks :)
Which test did u them?
Omg this explains so much...
Thankfully.
When I get a notification that you have downloaded a video, my happy time begins 📸❣️🍊♥️🥳😘🥰🤩❤️،
Haha enjoy!
Thank you so much !!! WoW I have had all 9 symptoms that's incredible

What do you mean strictly carnivore? Do you only eat meant? what about vegetables and stuff?
Strictly carnivore?
@@LondonBridge99 People seem to have different definitions, but I only eat animal products with absolutely no seasonings or veggies or cheat meals. Let me know if I can help in any way.
I always become super tired and have a lot of bloating and brain fog after eating that crap so I've decided to stop hurting myself and stop eating it!!!! I want my energy back!! Thank You so much for this video!!
One thing I noticed when I cut out both gluten and processed sugar is that my feet stopped hurting and my joint stiffness was reduced.
It has really helped me understand the importance of staying away from gluten.... period. Have a blessed New Year and thank you for making this video just for me 💚
It took me 20 years to figure this out!
Better late than never 😅
1. atopic dermatitis
2. joint pain
3. low energy
4. headaches
5. nutrient deficiency
(apart from the GI symptoms!)
I really think I may have this. I'll be trying a gluten-free diet for a few weeks to see if there's any improvement in my health. This is a great video. Thank you!
Any updates?
@@Adam-de8yi it's been a year and I really noticed a change after going gluten free. No more headaches and random needling pain in my body. Thanks for asking.
@@lauran8968 thanks for replying I wish you the best❤️
I had daily headaches and frequent migraines. Cutting out gluten pretty much eliminated them.
🙏🙏
Same!!
Same. Daily headaches and migraines all my life. Greatly reduced in frequency and intensity since going gluten free.
Edit: also other symptoms that have gone away or stopped progressing are
1) arthritic swellings in my finger joints
2) restless legs syndrome
3) gut problems (fissures, alternating with diarrhea and constipation, bloating)
4) low level depression ongoing since childhood.
Same
Same here but was fainting and had to lie on the floor until episode passed.

Me too!
Kindly share your outcome, please? ? ? 💜
Thank you.
Food journals helped me discover what really was happening.
Hi Kait. Been working on new art online. Do well. Been eating tasty salmon, turmeric, ginger, dates, and other things to strengthen my body. Been taking care of myself a lot better. Thanks for the messages.
Also, you have an amazing smile.
Keep up the great work! And thank you! 🥰
The stuffy nose, yesssss
Oh yes. My headaches, fatigue, arthritis & belly pain went away completely when I gave up gluten 12 yrs ago. Recently, I've been having some of the same old symptoms when I eat dairy. That may be my next elimination 🤔
Maybe you're carbohydrate intolerant? ua-cam.com/video/UUUaVCQ4qE8/v-deo.html
How long did it take?
👏👏
🙏🙏
I've had runny nose, sneezing for over a year now and I'm extremely under weight. After I took bloods. The Dr said I'm slightly intolerant to gluten.
Diagnosed 12 years ago with Celiac. Once tested, I removed gluten from my diet and knew by the 3rd day, even before I received the test results. Anyone concerned, start reading labels on containers, products have wheat that you wouldn’t think do.
🙏🙏
Michael A. Aguilar,
"... products have wheat that you wouldn't think do."
On top of that, foods that normally do not contain gluten themselves (like nuts) can be contaminated from equipment (conveyor belts, storage containers) that is also used with other foods that do.
How did you get that test done ?

I'm starting to wonder if I am better off without gluten, so thank you for this video. Going to abstain from it for a time and see what comes of it.
I was tested for Celiac and I don't have that but I have been gluten intolerant my whole life. Brain fog, histamine, allergies, fatigue, migraines and joint pain is all better on strict Ketovore.
That's awesome!
I get such severe brain fog after a day of binging on pretzels. Keeping the gluten and starches low helps me so much!
Before I knew I had gluten intolerance, I used to get really ill from drinking beer 🍺 too.
The celiac test is faulty - unless you have had an actual biopsy, the blood test is unreliable so you may actually have celiac.
Mark Hulme ,
"... you may actually have Celiac."
The gastroenterologist who gave me a diagnosis of IBS never even mentioned Celiac Disease, let alone tested for it.
Thank you for this! Recently discovered I’m gluten intolerant & had no idea gluten was causing the rash, fatigue & migraines
Axinty and psychosis also
Gluten has been implicated in a number of symptoms related to celiac disease that go beyond the digestive system, including rashes, anemia and headaches.
