So beautiful! I didn’t realize that the beef could be tenderized in such a short span of time. Very efficient! Thank you ❤

The cook time varies, but the chuck roast steaks being cut thinly is what helps. Also browning well before adding the stock is key. If you use chuck roast and it's cut in small chunks or thicker, then the cook time will take longer to achieve tenderness. You may need to add more stock. 😊
Delicious. I sometimes add quartered mushrooms and small diced red or white potatoes to boost the amount of filling. Those puff pastry sheets are great. I've made puff pastry and it isn't much better than the sheets, plus it takes a whole lot longer. Thanks for the reminder, I need to put Beef Pot Pie on the menu plan.
I so Love watching your videos! Never any pretending to be something you aren't. It's always real. It's how life and things really are in our kitchens! Your beef pot pies looks yummy and I want some! Thanks! Have a great weekend. Pam ❤
WOW!!! Such a Beautiful Color - PERFECT. I can't believe how the Puff Pastry shrunk. It's in a PERFECT circle exposing the white of the baking dish 👍👍👍. Another Masterpiece!!! TYFS.
Never thought to make beef pot pie-only beef stew in crock pot. Sunday I made a chicken pot pie and added frozen pearl onions to the chopped onions. It was so good. When I make this recipe I think I’ll use up those pearl onions. They were such a good addition but hard to find sometimes. Congrats on over 1.6 million subscribers. Not surprised at all.
You are my absolute favorite UA-cam food channel!! I have made so many of your recipes and they are all the BEST!!! I’m so grateful for all you do. Thank you so much!
This was a HUGE hit with my husband! My father in law told me it was the best he'd ever tasted. 5 star reviews and this is going into my regular rotation. Thank you
Oh I always thought that once the liquid was gone, I had overcooked the meat. I'm glad to know this. I actually bought some stew beef yesterday that is cut very, very small. I might have to make pot pie with it ☺️.
Yum! This is going on next weeks menu. We just had your lazy chicken pot pie casserole a couple weeks ago and that was a big hit. Oh, I bet this one will be too!
This looks wonderful, & delicious. You are such a joy to watch and I look forward to seeing you cook and sharing your next recipe. May I ask you your tips on cleaning and seasoning your cast iron skillet?
This looks amazing! I can almost smell it! 😋 If I wanted to add potatoes, would it be better to dice my own, or use diced canned potatoes? When would be the best time to add them?
Forget the pastry and use ground beef instead and you have hamburger stew. Ladle that over mashed potatoes - pure comfort!! We (lovingly) called hamburger stew "Dr. Ballards" when we were kids!! (if you remem, ber the tv commercials for Dr Ballards dog food) 🤣🤣
Great recipe. With that said, adding the garlic so late, won't really give it a chance to break down, and leaves a very strong possibility of someone biting into a chunk of garlic. I made this after watching your video, but used garlic powder. 😍
What about a crust underneath, how could we work that in?
Рік тому+6
If you want a puff pastry crust underneath, then you would need to prebake that first then add the filling and top with the other puff pastry dough sheet. You could also pre-bake a shortcrust pie dough, then fill and top with puff pastry dough for a great textural contrast. 😊
Looks so good! What did you call the pastry dough? It isnt listed in the ingredients. It sounded like you said fod. ETA~ LOL, kept watching and the second time you said it I heard thawed. Sorry!
Looks great, but looks too soupy once you scooped it out. All that good gravy was still in the dish. I think I'll add some cornstarch to the beef and vegetable mixture to thicken it up. Tyfs
Looks terrific! Yummy! I love Pot pies.
So beautiful!

😮😮Making this for sure !!!!
Perfect!
I enjoyed watching and will be taking lots of tips from this to make my first ever pot pie 😊
Great looking recipe ❤
The best pot pies are homemade ❤
Wow! Sure looks good. I like your style, I think I will try this one soon. Thanks
Pearl onions would be great in that.👍
Will the gravy thicken more as it cools? It looks delicious. I love puff pastry.
Oh wow. 🤤
Yum! This is going on next weeks menu. We just had your lazy chicken pot pie casserole a couple weeks ago and that was a big hit. Oh, I bet this one will be too!
This looks amazing! Beef pot pie is my favorite 😍 Thank you ❤
Looks easy and so very delicious !! 🌹🌹🌹
Looks delicious.thanks for sharing 😊
I love my pot pies I really do but I like to have a bottom to my pot pie. to each their own by the way, that looks delicious.
❤❤❤❤ thank you !
This looks wonderful, & delicious. You are such a joy to watch and I look forward to seeing you cook and sharing your next recipe.

Gurl that looks delicious . Can't wait to try. ❤❤
Yum👍😋
Sooner or Later I will try this recipe
Yummy 😋.

You are the best I wish I lived next store to you I would never be hungry
Yum! I don't have a CIS, they're too heavy.
It’s just beautiful and know it was wonderful! What brand puff pastry did you use? I’ve been disappointed with Pepperidge Farms at times.😋😋
Tasty.
❤❤❤❤

She sautéed it for a minute after adding- that’s plenty for a fine mince.
What about a crust underneath, how could we work that in?

Can I try this using hamburger meat?
Yes you can, but only use 2 1/2 to 3 cups of stock. The ground beef it tender compared to the chuck roast steaks and will not require a long simmer. 😊
I love me a good pot pie
Looks so good! What did you call the pastry dough? It isnt listed in the ingredients. It sounded like you said fod.
ETA~ LOL, kept watching and the second time you said it I heard thawed. Sorry!
Beer would be good with the beef stock.
Can this be adapted for a chicken pot pie? It looks great, but beef is expensive
That's very delicious looking but why not have a bottom layer of pastry?
Ill make a chicken pot pie for the girls and I for tonight
Looks great, but looks too soupy once you scooped it out. All that good gravy was still in the dish. I think I'll add some cornstarch to the beef and vegetable mixture to thicken it up. Tyfs
Nice but even better a cook from across the pond that can correctly say Worcester sauce 😂😂
Lol! I tried so hard to say it right. I still doubt myself. 😅
@ tbh us English say "wuss ter" sauce very rarely say it fully. Well at least us lot in Leicester
Oh, you're one of those people who don't use a bottom pastry. You should know all the folks in the UK just clicked on Minecraft. 🤣
When there are no recipe/instructions, what does everyone do? Write it down as they watch the video?
Yes! It’s super easy.
7 tbls of flour! Are you sure?
Food looking good is totally irrelevant to me,flavors, texture, aroma are what im looking for.
