    Damn Sam.
You just told me to eliminate everything I basically felt i needed to do to have a successful business.
But you boiled it down to four MAIN things:
1.Pick a niche (specific group of people) I'm interested/passionate, know a lot about, understand, or have experience with
    2. Identify a painful problem this niche experiences that keeps them up at night stressed, worried, and/or feeling depressed, angry, this problem needs to be something they urgently want to solve
    3. Solve that problem with my current skill set or one that I can develop and learn very quickly (Sounds like I'm their SAVIOR)
4.Sell that solution to the nasty problem back to my niche and GET THEM THE RESULT in exchange for money
That is SO SIMPLE its out of this world crazy to me...
Everything else is distraction and doesn't get me anywhere closer to growing and building my BUSINESS.
    Thanks Sam! You're the GOAT!

    • @michaelgaineriii6986
      @michaelgaineriii6986 5 років тому +5

Alessandro Calcagni one thing you should do is don’t take everything Sam says so seriously. He isn’t the only person you should listen to.... Listen to your heart first and foremost. If there is a problem you WANT and feel GOOD about solving then go with that. Having a passion and interest in your niche is key. It’s not about always having a OUT OF THE BOX IDEA or solving a MEGA BIG problem. It’s just understanding what your NICHE currently thinks and does and what they want and need in their life and business to get to their desired point in life.

      -news
-going out for food (have precooked meals for the day or just eat 2 large meals instead of 4 small ones)
-shopping (plan &batch your shopping, don't go out every time you need something).
-"just hanging out" (schedule your fun and make it multi-tasking... example: lunch w friends or workout w friends or bowling, etc... don't just sit around with friends doing nothing... its boring and a waste of time)
-youtube (unsubscribe from yt channels that don't provide value and stick to educational vids).
-Texting/Snapchat (Turn off notifications and check them two or three times a day... mealtime is a good time... multitask)
-Sleep deprivation (7 hours of sleep is necessary to maintain a high workload lifestyle... longterm is what matters).
-Junk food (time waster and bad for health/productivity and requires more exercise... total waste)
-email (for most people, once a day @ night time is optimal)
-parties (hangout while doing something physical or watch a movie together... multitask)
-chasing relationships (let it happen naturally, don't run around looking for one and keep partner on the same page so they understand your goals)
-Menial housework (errands) - batch that stuff and do it closer to the end of the day... work all day first and then... when you're mentally exhausted, do mindless chores with music or whatever to multitask and also get some movement before bedtime.
      etc etc etc

Sam, I love your videos man, you are the only person I take advice from that I implement. My life has already changed significantly from all the videos I've been watching from you. A lot of them I watched multiple times. I still can't afford your courses (literally). But my life is slowly changing for the good. As you said, successful people leave crumbs or traces behind their success, hence I devour your info on youtube like no one else. One day I am going to be in Manhattan and I hope I meet you. The grass is not greener on the other side it is greener where you water, I literally hung that on my wall. It has profound implications for an INTP like me. I had to turn on comments from the HideRec app that blocks out almost everything on YT to say this.
    Cheers!
P.s. please do keep making these videos, they are life-changing, I truly mean it.

    • @carlstetter2815
      @carlstetter2815 5 років тому

You mentioned you cannot afford his courses. If you do in the future, please consider it really carefully before you spend 2,000+ dollars on his courses. In this 12 min video, all he said is focus. Every person knows that if you want to be successful on something, you need to focus on the important things and spend much less time on the details. He embellishes this with gimmicks, marketing tricks, examples etc. etc. and people fall for it.
Please save your money. 2,000+ is a huge amount. Maybe you have kids who need it, if not maybe you will have kids one day, or you will need it yourself. Save your money man, it doesn't come easy.
      Don't fall for it.

And another thing from a gardener's perspective: once you ripped the weeds out, you can then let them dry or chop them into pieces and then lay on the earth in the pot where your plant is: the organic materials will decompose and fertilize the soil, nurturing your plant this way. I watch your videos from time to time but never thought of subscribing... thanks for asking to sub now I’m subbed. I attended the webinar for like 3/4ths of it it was a great experience. Thanks for the UA-cam videos they do help out. I hope you become the exact opposite of tai Lopez (I think you already are, but just as you say we all can become better)

Sam, how do you look back on some of the videos you've made on the channel before? Things like the My Story video have a lot of views but they show a lot of fancy things like cars and jets. Anything you'd like to have differently?

Yes, very true. But the most important thing is to recognize the weeds first. How do I know what to leave? Instagram, Facebook, UA-cam - all this leads to a growth without which my plant would not even grow. How do I find out what I should not focus on anymore? Of anything that has no direct impact on income generating?

It's good to do other things in life, but I say the 80/20 rule is good to follow. 80% productivity, 20% anything else.

Sam I sincerely relate to what you are telling us. However, this topic is sooo individual.
People like Russell Brunson leverage everything you mentioned like ig stories, podcasts, events etc.
And still remain the exponential growth.
    What do you think?

Great video. But that's not a pot plant. If that's what they said when you bought it or planted it, go get your money back or check out those seeds. Seriously, though, It's amazing how many weeds I find that I have to deal with before starting my projects, which comes from not being as organized in the first place. Things always come up, but sometimes most of my job is maintenance....especially when other people break things. Hell, maybe they're the weeds.
