I just got mine, I didn’t notice anything wrong with the instructions at that page. The build continued normally and there wasn’t anything wrong with it.
When the spoiler doesn't want to raise all the way - it looks to me like the issues is that lime green 2 pin link, that connects the red horizontal transfer axle to the pivot arm. When you push the red axel backwards the link pivots and allows the red axel to bend away from the chassis, rather than fully pushing the pivot arm rearwards. It seems like the design should have included a different connection to the pivot rod (since the red axel isn't rigid enough to resist bending, even in the short distance from the last support tube)
I think you're right you can see it stays straight when he moves the spoiler only but when he moves the axle the lime piece bends down and loses some of the axles length.
Mine also struggled to go up all the way. I think it’ because the axle underneath is trying to bend instead of sliding through the holes like it’s supposed to.
Great review. Would be nice if these Technic cars, which were 1:10 scale (but felt hollow) continued with this 1:12 scale...lots of detail packed into a smaller frame. In the process of building mine and had no issues with the spoiler. Almost looks like yours is hitting a bit of resistance and perhaps where the great lift arms pass through that v-shaped gap creates where those blue upper pieces come together at that 3x3 biscuit piece (where tailpipes and GT logo are attached)
This car looks great and pairs well with the other cars. I really think you should purchase the new creator expert Land Rover. It looks so good and is so cool.
6:46 Mine are working perfectly fine. The grey piece on the right side of the video shouldn't touch the two black pieces. Try to remove the two black pieces, and check it again. If it works, you should cut off a little bit of the two black pieces, so they can't touch the grey piece. 3:29 By the way, the Ford GT has a big windshield. Your Ford GT has a smaller windshield, because you put the pieces (left and right upside of the windshield) in a wrong way.
I think i found a way to fix the spoiler problem. on step 130, the blue thing facing down might be the problem, you need to make sure its connected to that black rectangle on the bottom. Which it help the bending on the rod
I FIXED THE LEVER RESISTANCE ISSUE, well kind of. Let me explain. The problem with the lever for my set was the black piece connecting the white piece on the L with the L. The resistance was so much it delayed the spoiler. My solution? A smooth connector like the silver or bage one. After that resistance was WAYYY WAYYY lesser. Also idk why this helped but I loosened the axel area with the glowing rod. Somehow lessened resistance even more. Hope this helps, car and lego lovers
Im in the middle of my build and had the same binding issue for the spoiler, I noticed after step 258 when I tested it after installing rear diffuser/plate panel. Under the vehicle, the two brown vertical guides with the 1x3 oval attached, that oval was catching on the lower circular portions of the two inner diffuser fins about half way down them. It bound the rod in the same way yours did. Pull the diffuser away from the moving assembly half a millimeter and problem solved
By the way that holo gram is what Ford puts on all their merch from hats, tee-shirts cups to diecast and lego cars. Me being a Ford fan and Mustang owner have a ton of those stickers... Still good to see it though.
I think the spoiler issue is caused by step 87 in the manual. Probably this connection is tightened too much. I had a similar issue and could solve it by loosen this connection.
@user-iv5cz1re1f maybe just go back and double check I did this with the Sian and now it's good only the Chiron is giving me issues hope you get it working.
Great video unfortunatly it didn't help me at all beacous i watched it after i got my Ford GT and i still did not put my set together so when i finish the set i hopefully remember to say how is my spoiler doing, for now it is moving pretty rough but at least all the way up
If, like me, you hate all those stickers, simply apply only those that you consider essential. My Ferrari has hardly any stickers on it and does not look any the worse for it,
The only thing that bugs me is the way the headlight pieces are shaped. It looks like its worried and i can’t not notice it. Its sadly the only thing keeping me from buying it
Instructions error, step 127 L beam is placed backward. Turn it face forward also to stop overpushing the lever.
Someone tell me if this is true fr bc im building rn nd on step 116

I’ve tried your method and it’s fixed!
what way
Awseome model, just got into technic and enjoying it more than standard lego... Will be adding this one to my collection

Chad by the way thanks for taking your time to type this.
The ford gt was my first 1:12 scale care as i usually get the 1:10 $50 cars so i was pretty surprised to hear that people were calling it small

I finished this set it’s awesome

I have received this as a Christmas present, hopefully I will manage to assemble it before next Christmas.
Lego:what can we do..
LEGO worker: WE CAN MAKE A RC PORSCHE

What windshield?
@@Zynirel Hi. The frame (of the windshield).
@@superhunk1989 it's not wrong though?
@@Zynirel Hi. Look at 0:15 and 1:07. The frame should look like that.
What grey and black pieces? I cant see
Thanks very much this video helped me a lot !!! 🙏

Like the car as building it now. Sometimes when putting some elements on it can be hard to figure out where they go with so much blue.

The Dom's Charger at the Target I work at as the price listed around $95. But it actually went on clearance today for 15% off.
my spoiler stuck sometimes too
I think the spoiler issue is caused by step 87 in the manual. Probably this connection is tightened too much.

It isnt. It's an issue with the lever and red axel. Ive tried ur method but still no work
I'm pretty sure ethe spoiler is getting caught on a brick or something inside the viechle
This one needed to be 1/10 not smaller. I didn’t have much fun building it, too many details crammed in too small of a chassis. Just my opinion.
At $120 where are you going to get such a quality set at almost 1500 pieces? It looks great too.
great review I was not sure about getting but know I real want to get it
Sick bro I got the Chiron and I love it. Currently browsing for my next technic car, leaning towards the Porsche GT3 rs
I got my Ford GT wing working but had issues with the Sain though I fixed it but the Bugatti it baffles me why its just not doing what it should.
I agree, the wheels on my bugatti just won't work properly
how did you get the wing to work fully? mine only moves like 1cm
@user-iv5cz1re1f for the Ford GT I just followed the manual and works fine. Though my Bugatti is a different story still trying to get it to go down.
@@kanenstuff oh alright thanks
@user-iv5cz1re1f maybe just go back and double check I did this with the Sian and now it's good only the Chiron is giving me issues hope you get it working.
Great set and good review.

Awesome video, Technic cars are so detailed these days.
I got mine for £78 so great deal
Great review 😊

I had trouble on step 87
Not a fan of the technique look , I like the smooth finish of the creator stuff . This one has some cool stuff on it though . Tfs
What a cool set
kinda like the old gt because its more seamless than the technec gt..... more love
I'm watching this holding my technic ford gt
The only thing that bugs me is the way the headlight pieces are shaped. It looks like its worried and i can’t not notice it. Its sadly the only thing keeping me from buying it
Great review
You called the Ford GT the raptor twice
tetnic Ford collection awsome review
Cool
Did you know that the real Ford GT is made in Canada? At a place near Toronto called Multimatic…
Good job I have all
The time has come finaly yes😂
its the green thing
it shall be funny when you use the WD40 spray on it than it work better 🤣🤣
14:06 you said ford raptor instead of gt
13:36 I dont buy any LEGO set unless it comes packed full with technic feces
Ferrari pls
You can tell bricksie has been away, here come all the filler videos 😴
Nah, I got 3 Brickworld videos coming right up, live streams, and huge city changes.
I’m 8 I built it all by myself
:)
Would of have been nice if these technics were scaled to size. That Porsche is way too big compared to Ford GT.
