Favorite set is the Titanic by far. I actually got my desk and hutch specifically big enough for the Titanic. It looks so amazing and love seeing it every day. Can’t go wrong with Hogwarts, At-AT, or the Millenium Falcon which I also have. Still need Rivendell and Razor Crest.
i just bought the titanic set! the largest i've ever had was the medium sized Millenium falcon i got when i was 9 lol
@@dbased1915 Largest set I’ve ever had is probably the 2,000 piece technic airbus, which is kinda small compared to these actually. But I’m really considering buying all these big sets soon
The fact that only 1 of the top 10 largest sets didnt come out in the last 5 years, and that one came out 6 years ago is insane to me. Lego piece # creep is real, but I love it so much
I still stand by my comment a year or so back when I said I preferred the UCS Imperial Star Destroyer, simply because everything is attached firmly to the model. As spectacular as the Millennium Falcon is, the fact the various panels aren't fixed is an issue for me
I would have liked the Titanic though, but I don't have the space to display sadly - or room in my car to transport the huge box

@@nk361that is false. I have it on my dresser and I’ve knocked into the very tip hard enough to move it around accidentally and nothing has fallen off or come out of alignment. It is a very well put together set
@@berengerchristy6256 Thank you for the response! I did end up buying it but didn't put it together yet. I really like the ATAT that I did get to put together even though it did have some segments fall off while building it

Interesting video to watch, I still have the taj mahal from when it was originally released and I was still a child. Never knew it was among one of the largest sets by piece count to exist.
It makes me wonder if they will ever make a technic lego set with 10.000+ pcs. I am a very big lego technic fan and would LOVE to see them come up with a technic set THAT big 🤩🤩
@Bricksie - LOVE these TOP 10 videos!! Looks like the Only set to retire this year is the Colosseum (per brickfanatics). It didn't sound like you were that in love with the Roman relic (even after getting a 2nd one after the infamous Drop-from-the-ladder, crash test video you did 😄) Would you (or anyone else on here) prioritize getting the Colosseum or go w/a different Top 10 set during this week's Double VIP points? I'm leaning towards Ninjago City Markets or the Batcave ShadowBox. 🦇
The Rivendell set is by far the best. The Tower belongs at the end.
One slight mistake is the millennium falcon didn't come with the princess leia from a new hope it only had the empire strikes back version.
Yes, technically, the World map is the largest set but, this is due solely to the number of 1x1 pieces. For me, this set does not count.
My currente biggest set is Ninjago City Gardens, hope really soon get the markets for the collection.
Most of these massive sets don't appeal to me, but I can definitely appreciate their size and accuracy. However, I was very tempted to purchase the Titanic, because I love the look of old ocean liners. However, the only reason why I won't buy the Titanic is because there is a gorgeous ocean liner that looks much, much better than I am planning to build instead: the SS Normandie.

I thought the Eifel Tower was going to be number one, but when you said the world map, I completely forgot about that. For some reason, I always forget about that one. It doesn't really seem like LEGO if you ask me. Anyway, I have three of the ten. Rivendale, the Titanic and the Eifel Tower. I would love to get more... but it's a money and space issue for me sadly. :(

I am building the titanic right now. Picked up a Chinese set from temu for £90. If you do this I would recommend glueing the cranes and funnels but for the price, you can't beat it

Would you do the same review except.... by weight? That is a better determinant of size than piece count.
I agree with you. Of course piece count counts (excuse the pun), but calling the World Map, that's mostly made up of 1x1 round tiles, the "largest" lego set in list after list on the internet kind of provoces me, because many sets are both much heavier and have far bigger volumes, which I think are the most commonly accepted determinants for size. Alternate lists with weight, volume and why not footprint as well would be interesting to see. This said, I still appreciated the video since it was much more than just listing the sets, so thanks!
Out of the top 10 I only have the Hogwarts Castle. I don’t really want any of the other sets, although they are gorgeous.
Literally the Titanic set was mind-blowing 🤯🤯. The fact that they recreated each room of the ship in the set is amazing.

Glad I am not alone on the Eiffel tower and the Colosseum. I still liked the Colosseum build for the most part but the tower had me fuming by the end 😂 Took me the longest out of any set I’d built because I kept taking breaks and stopping when I’d turn the page and see the same instructions every time. But, I also agree with the titanic. I had been into Lego but really never buying any huge sets until the titanic. It was the first one I searched and searched for. Drove close to an hour away to get it and even then it was still by chance; wasn’t on display and I just happened to mention I wanted it and sure enough they had like 10 in the back but weren’t displaying for whatever reason. Just picked up the map as well so I suppose I now have the top 4 largest sets in my nowhere near big enough room 😂

The Eiffel tower was not my favorite build, but I love the end result!
My favorites to build have been Van Gogh's Starry Night and the Grand piano. Worth every penny!

Ahhh now I know what you were talking about the other day when you needed to clear space for a BIG video haha. I didn't even realize that none of the top 10 are retired yet. My opinion is the hogwarts castle is the best of these sets, but I'm a biased Lego HP collector.
Fun fact: the only set on this list to have a frog in it is ninjago city markets

I had to ask an architect to design my whole living room around the USC Star Destroyer and it doesn't even make the list haha. These sets look great but they take too much space. There's a USC Republic Gunship on a fantastic sale on a store here in Brazil but I don't have anywhere to put it. Such a bummer.

I have most of the big UCS sets halfway through building Millenium Falcon but the Titanic is my favourite piece by far
I had the older version of the millennium falcon. Got it when I was like 8 or so for Christmas. Built it and took it home which was overseas. On the flight it was destroyed but only partly, my friend came over and built it together with me again but it wasn't the same because it was a lot less stable and fell apart easy BC we didn't have all the pieces. Few years later before I knew it's value me and same friend wanted to see if it could swim. That was the end of it as it was made unsalvageable in my pool. I still have a good amount of pieces lying around but it'll never be reconstructable my me. Safe to say I will never forgive myself

Can you do a size comparison for the Star Wars UCS sets?
I have the Hogwarts Castle, not worrying about price, what would you recommend as the next most interesting and fun to build next?? My choices are, the Razor Crest, The Falcon, or the Eiffel Tower! What would you pick next?
Falcon I think because I have really wanted it and it seems super fun to build

All these builds are so nice but i have to wonder, how does one even move or transport these builds to a bookshelf or smth. I have never build a set this big btw

I own 5 of those members of the Big 10:
The Colosseum, Eiffel Tower, Millennium Falcon, Rivendell (maybe my favorite; really need more Lord of the Rings big sets) and Hogwarts.
I really want the Titanic and AT-AT. Not interested by Ninjago Markets nor the World map, and wasn't neither of Razor Crest, but discovering it more in this video could change my mind. I also have the 11th biggest u r talking about, the Taj Mahal.
Agree about the repetitivity while building the Colosseum (but the result is really nice) and was afraid about it for the Eiffel tower that I own but didn't build yet, but it looks beautiful, so, I really needed it. Already own much smaller Eiffel Tower and Millenium Falcon.

The UCS Razor Crest is so big, the engines is one box of pieces if I remember
I’m not gonna lie, all of these are excellent LEGO sets; but the Colosseum and Eiffel Tower are extremely repetitive builds. The Titanic was fun (and still probably my favorite out of the three). The Millennium Falcon was complex and at the end felt a bit unstable, but I still love it. The AT-AT was cool, but the legs were horrible (had my brother help me). And, Finally Rivendell is possibly my favorite set to come out this year.
Thought about buying Rivendell set but bought batcave mostly because was a 100 dollars less and space problems
I got the Titanic, probably one of the best set ever made, it just looks so perfect.

I have the Titanic, and my wish-list for my fiance for my milestone birthday this year is the Hogwarts castle. I would love to get the Star Wars and LOTR ones too. But I have to get the Batman shadowbox and the Spider-man No Way Home sets this year. So hopefully nothing will be retiring too soon.

I have The World map and it took me only a week to finish it, I also have The Eiffel Tower which has 10,001 pieces and it took me a few months to finish it because I was having problems with the first set of legs, I Even have The Titanic and it took me only 5 days to finish it and my dad said that I should be known as The Lego Master, and I even got every single Star Wars helmet ever made because Star Wars is one of my Dad’s favorite things

Ninjago City Markets actually hasn‘t been the first Set with a Gondola, there was this Set for the first Spider-Man movie with Tobey Maguire called „The Final Showdown“ featuring one. It‘s Set 4852 from 2003. I don‘t know if there were any other Sets besides those 2 but still a awesome video.

1:19 Look at the left side. There are six lampposts at the base of the building. The builder goofed and spaced them wrong.
I built the Colosseum, and I agree that while it was fun it was a bit repetitive. I’m also building the Titanic, I’m about three quarters of my way through the build, and it’s a very enjoyable process. I’m not buying the Eiffel Tower.
I have seen the Empire State Buikding of Lego in NYC. Was easily on top of this list.

I think it’s the Titanic at the moment, but the Technic Crane coming out later this year will probably take the number one spot since it has control plus as well as weight bricks apparently.

People saying the Colosseum was repetitive but not say anything how the Star Wars is the same way with all of those grey pieces.
Well, I own 2 of them so far, I do want more like Rivendell, that's a matter of time.
Imagine if hogwarts and the coloseom were minifigure scale and not microfigure scale. The they probably both would have over 30.000 pieces

ninjago city markets are non licensed and costs 370$ but rivendell is licensed and has 4 more pieces but 130$ more expensive than ninja go city markets....
I am honestly glad that my largest lego set I have built is theclego batman art which I am currently working through my 2nd one because the only large set I can do every year is the modulars which going off those the largest one I have done is assembly square for my city.
I too am currently building the Batman art. I have Batman, The Joker and Harley Quinn done. Now I'm working on Batman and Cat Woman. Then it's on to the three set Batman. Has been a fun journey so far.
@@renegaderider08 Nice. If the ultimate Batman art was horizontal and not vertical I would had done that instead but since it’s vertical I went the 3 separate options to fill a space in my bedroom which actually fits 3 normal art sets perfectly.

I have the Hogwarts castle set! It took me a week to complete with breaks for work, food, bathroom and sleep
