I remember when i was like 8yo, and asked for a lego starwars set for xmas, they got me a technic battle droid, when i opened i was upset, underwellmed, but i gave it a try, AND BOY IT CHANGE MY LIFE SINCE THEN I LOVE TECHNIC SETS
Technic set 8421 from 2005 is one of the best sets i own. Pneumatics and a motor for the winch, i rarely see it mentioned by anyone despite its size...
I'm a Technic nerd and have every Technic Motorcycle set. Set 857 that you have labelled 1980 in several places came out in 1979. You probably should have covered how Technic went studless which was a major step forward. LOL, at 3:28 you show BuWizz motors. These aren't Lego but a 3rd party motor compatible with Lego.
@@YourLocalBrit-P918 I'm not a big fan of cars but I would give it an 8 or a 7.5 but there are many lego sets from 2017/18 that are straight 10 /9.5 In my opinion
@@Redwish475 well the Airbus isn't lego technic I wasn't counting that but in my opinion is about an 8 For the Volvo I would assume that is the 42053 I would give it somewhere around Edit 8.5 - 9.5 But that one is from 8 years ago so I guess that's not the one I think it's the truck wit the excavator That one I give a 7.5
I am missing my 8860 car chassis, for me that was the basis to build all different types of cars back then. I'm also missing the change from a even numbers dominated building system to a odd numbers dominated system. This change happened around 2000. Are you aware?
Mould King and other CN brands have many cool military sets 😉 And Lego always been against anything military 🥲 Like for the Osprey set controversary 😰 I wanted that set soooo bad !!
it was more due to the fact that the osprey was a military aircraft, which went against legos policy and yes the gears can break/ slip over a period of time
I mean, if it wasn’t for the people asking for better Legos sets, bro we would’ve stick to boring Legos and we never would have any cool things like any Lego cars. We wanna have Lego cars but we wouldn’t have anything cool we just be able to use bricks Lego bricks and that’s boring.
I had 3 of the first 4 sets released. Never got the helicopter, but my next-door neighbour did. Still remember building the tractor for the first time, with my Dad. Just finished building 42171 - Mercedes Fw14.
Hello Minifigured UA-cam, I hope this comment finds you well. I'm writing to let you know that the "supercar" that is featured in your video is infact, not a supercar. Although the standards are subjective, a supercar has up to 900 horsepower, and weighs between 2,200 and 3,700 pounds. The racecar that you featured is the 24 hrs race car set, clearly imitating an LMP2 class racecar for the FIA World Endurance Championship, commonly known for races like the 24 hours of Le Mans. I do hope that this glaringly obvious factual inconsistency is simply as I said, an inconsistency, and that you will avoid making such errors in future videos.

You didn't even address why or how technic shifted away from traditional studded construction beams to almost entirely alien studless liftarms.

You know I think 2017 / 18 was the peak of technic lego the last 3 years weren't all that good
What about the new McLaren p1

Coolest in my opinion was the second control set the helicopter kinda was like a flight sim
I would also add the Space Shuttle from 1995 as well as the *legendary* Bucket Wheel Excavator from 2016!
yes.
The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is for sale online, but it costs 800 EUR and its very limited.
For bionicle it would've been better to use actual era accurate sets as an example instead of the reboot ones from later

Also the Mercedes Benz Arocs from 2015
Also the Mercedes Benz Unimog from 2011

Very cool cool
Oh my that brings back memories !! Thank you sooo much !!
Nice vid but you missed the white spaceshuttle 😢
Moving pistons were introduced a lot earlier than the silver arrow. Like 10 years.
@cowzcowz there are a bunch of factual errors like this
Try 1977. The original car had a 4 cylinder engine, 3 speed gearbox and steering.
Next do the evolution of Lego themes
i have the v-22 and when i see the prices people sell it
LIKE FREAKING 1000 EURO`S i say
i will never never loos it or sell it
One like = 1 push up
Lol
If lego did military sets... They would be the best selling sets.
