I'm playing Ruby Phoenix Tournament AP and playing a Nephilim Human Sorcerer, and picked Abadar and Shizuru for their deities to represent family beliefs for Abadar and her personal views for Shizuru. I'm happy to see this and hope to use it to expand that dynamic! Thanks!
I bet you could get away with playing *as* the Dusk Ronin in a high level (possibly mythic?) campaign. She'd be an easy pick for Exemplar. I could see the justification for her joining the PCs in a lot of easy ways - keyed in to the greater goings-on but quiet about it because she needs the other PCs' help... Or maybe she's not keyed in at all. I'm imagining a flashback to her banishment, and mama Shizuru saying, "You forget yourself," the divine words having a very literal effect. Some aspect of her daughter strives, again and again, to grow in power and memory only to be thrown back down because she never learns her lesson. Or something like that! Happy hunting!
This is a great story! Thanks sir
Thanks so much! I'm a hopeless romantic, so the humanity of this episode really appealed to me.

What a fantastic idea! I love the use of the exemplar as a means of conveying the deific origins of her powers.

Where I am, it's rather early. So my day starts nicely 😊
A blessed hunt, good sir! And thanks for another great video!
Yeaaaah Samurai time!
I wonder if these gods will show up in Starfinder eventually.
I certainly hope so. It might be a great opportunity for Paizo to create their take Shadowrun's iconic street samurai in the Starfinder setting.
@@Podfinder nah, to gritty. We have cyber-jedi-psychic warriors with power armor in that setting.
@@ScottBoydathomeI mean, in all fairness one of Starfinder’s key characteristics is how flexible and numerous it can be with its themes and worlds.
As a weeb this pleases me greatly
I've been considering making a cleric of Shizuru, so I'm looking forward to this!
