@@Podfinderyeah I thanked him the other day but I need to thank you too. So much insight into a world that I now can breath more life into for my players. Thank you!
Wow, I'm new to Pathfinder & its lore and just discovered this channel earlier this week and there's a new video out today about a subject I was already interested in - awesome
underrated channel, i wish to see more of the "so you want to play..." videos. Especially about APs like stolen fate, kingmaker or fist of the ruby phoenix
Razmiran stonks are rising once again as of Lost Omens: Divine Mysteries! Perfect archetype to pair with a Cha-based, non-magical class. With crafting, of course. Rogue, Interrogator Investigator, or Thaumaturgy, anyone?
Blessings of the Living God upon us! Paizo finally released an official Razmiran Priest archetype in Divine Mysteries, allowing us to keep the faith for all time
Yes they did! This video was finished before Paizocon, otherwise I would have mentioned that announcement. I'm very excited to read what they've come up with.
I think in 2e it would make a lot of sense to represent his followers as occult spellcasters. I think it fits the theme of his deceptive faith as well.
My thought for a razmir campaign is that the players have a personal vendetta against him, chosen as a background. Then they attempt to stop his machinations, prevent him from getting a sun orchid elixir, stop any alliances with the whispering tyrant, remove and save people from indoctrination. But for each of these that they fail, razmir gets closer to actual divinity. If he has enough followers, an alliance with tar baphon or a real god, a sun orchid elixir or divine artifact, and performs some terrible sacrifice, he could ascend. The campaign would end with either a fight against razmir and his most loyal and powerful followers, or by trying to defeat a newly created god. (Possibly putting him in the vault with rovagug?)
Hey around the 6:28 second mark you say "providing them with food and charity" twice in a row. I think it can be fixed with the trimming tool youtubr has but idk. No big deal, great video otherwise!
The greatest secret about Razmir is that he's a God pretending to be a Man pretending to be a God.
You and mythkeeper together have given me a more complete picture of the the setting
I'm glad these videos are helpful! And yeah, Mythkeeper is a fantastic resource.

Razmir is three Norgorbers in a wizard robe

Can't wait to get my copy and read all about it.
Such a cool topic! Golarions own Wizard of Oz, err Razmir
Pay no attention to the wizard behind the mask.

I believe that they hinted at Razmiran info in the upcoming gods book during PaizoCon

Good News! In the new Divine Mysteries book they have a Razmiran Priest Archtype that does make them occult spellcasters

Love all of that. Great idea for a campaign!
Love this series. Would like to request that you cover one of the deities of the Dark Tapestry. I don’t care which.
Noted. I have a Dark Tapestry deity planned for this October.
@@PodfinderHaha that’s perfect!
15:15 of course not everything was a cheap trick, some of them are quite expensive tricks 😂😂
Would've been a really good april fool's video.
Just wondering, do you happen to have a spotify or an audio only equivalent? I love to listen to your lore while I commute/work.
I don't yet, but thanks for sharing your interest. I'm looking into how I could do that.

Good catch! Thanks for the heads up!
Hey - your Razmiran Priest archetype has an incorrect flavor text block, just wanted to let you know
Also, it misspells “might” as “migth” in the italic text
Thanks! I'll get that fixed right away!
