This actually worked... Can't believe the solution is so simple. Thank you for being more helpful than the Maytag customer service.

Thank you Sr. that worked for me. 5 year old Samsung front load washer. Wife wanted a $500 dollar new washer and I told her it can wait 2-3 more years.

@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel Thanks it did not work for me, looks like its some other problem. I did examine the rubber seal thoroughly but I don't see any visible cracks. will have to continue investigating. But thanks again for this tip!

Thanks Scott, checking the boot like you mentioned and what did I see! The boot has a little rip in it causing the washer to leak. So, thanks again!

Until I found your video I thought maybe I had damaged the hose while cleaning. I'm gonna see if this fixes the problem, but thank you for the less scary scenario to check 😊

After having a professional come over twice at 88 bucks a pop spending a total of 25 minutes my washer was still leaking. After watching this video and cleaning under the front door area my washer is not leaking after several washes later. Thanks but I wish I watched this first.

Mine is leaking from underneath somewhere in the right corner, i think is the drum broken or something with the water pump. Ten yo LG washer.
Would it worth to service it? It is an amazing washer, but i am afraid fixing will be too exepensive.

Thanks for the vid. I have a front load but doesn't seem to be from the glass bowl. Water is coming out where the legs are and puddling on the floor. Do you have any hacks on figuring out that?

If I could subscribe 100 times I would. I was all set to remove the bellows after watching a different video for 10 minutes (great video but didn’t describe this issue). I may never get those 10 minutes back but you have saved me countless hours!! Thank you thank you thank you. I was dubious it would work - seemed too simple! Man, you are a lifesaver!!

if you have a hole in the boot, you can use silicone caulk to fix it temporarily. Just make sure you allow several days to dry before using it.

I have a whirlpool front load washer model wfw9050xw00. Thought leak was in front bottom. It was infront but top it was the hose that connect from bottom of dispenser to barrel part# 8540063. Less than 20.00 to fix myself takes about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to fix very easy fix
