Best explanation for washer
Shane Lloyd, It’s more likely the pipes got switched during repair. You may be able to correct the situation by just reversing the hoses on the back of the washer. When you select cold water fill, check the hose going to the cold side of the water valve. If it is hot, you can just change the hoses. If it is cold, you may have a problem with the water temperature selector in the washer.
Very informative video. I like it.

Thanks to you sir

Nice!!
What an explanation!? Thanks!
Wow! Great!
The problem with front loaders is that they break often (especially the outer drum spring eyes) because people overload the tub. They treat them like laundromat machines. There is a difference between "heavy duty" and "commercial". The old Kenmore direct drives were a lot better. Their only disadvantage is that they use more electric than front loaders.

In your experience supplying parts for machines, which tub rotating system is most reliable: the stator or the motor control board with drive motor, belt and pulley?
