Lovely video. You gave me the knowledge and confidence to troubleshoot my washer. I found the hose connecting the drum was loose. All i had to do was reconnect it and tighten the clip. Voila!
Been dealing with a leak and discovered $5.33 in change, a broken pen case, a rivot, and a toothpick in the drain pump. Replaced door bellows a couple months ago and worked for a while. I never realized there is a filter in the drain pump until i seen a video for it but this video adds more trouble shooting techniques. thank you for sharing this great information. Now on to the filter and hose checks.
Absolutely the best and easiest explained repair video I have ever seen anywhere. Precise and well spoken with no Led Zeppelin music playing in the background and explanation was about the problem and not about making you a movie star. Thanks for taking the time and for the great explanation.
Thank for you this informative and easily to understand video. I’m going to take some time today to look over my washer and figure out why it’s leaking. I’m a single woman and don’t have many people I can call for help with things like these.
You can add "Split on the th drain hose near the drain pump" to the list. It will leak not quite as fast as the water fills (a lot) when a cycle begins. I found this out on ours. I just found the split as I was checking the things that you recommended. Thanks, Great video!
Excellent preview of what I need to do to fix the leak that just started on our LG front load washer. I will follow your steps one by one. Thank you sir.
Thank you very much! You helped me fix my Whirlpool. It was leaking from the detergent dispenser at the top because there was a blockage in the dispenser hose. This video is awesome.
Thanks so much. Callout in London England is the same cost as a new machine - but what about the environmental cost of un-necessarily replacing a good machine? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
That was a fantastic video. Thank you very much. And because you are taking care of your customers so much, I will be sure to check your catalog for the parts that I need.
A small black rubber tube near the bottom and just inside the rear access panel came detached from whatever it was supposed to be attached to ( I am not certain what it was) on our LG frontload washing machine and flooded our laundry room, hall, kitchen, and basement. Yes, one small detached rubber tube caused all of that. I did not find any clamp, so I reattached the tube (to whatever it is) and taped it for extra security.
Mine leaks during the rinse cycle only on my Maytag 2000 series front loading washing machine, but only from the center of the top of the bottom panel. It starts 10 minutes into the rapid wash cycle, so when the washing machine shows 18 minutes left of the rapid wash cycle and continues leaking until there are 14 minutes left of the cycle, then stops. It leaks enough to soak 3/4 of a bath towel that is under the bottom panel to catch it. Any ideas? Thank you for your wealth of knowledge.
I learned a great deal from you, but my leak was not in any of those area. Its coming from one of the three hole that connected to the detergent basket.
Great Video. I’m finding water inside my whirlpool front load machine from one day to the next without any usage. I’m suspecting it’s the inlet valve letting water in after the cycles, but how can I be sure? Thanks.
It’s overflowing at the fabric dispenser but the drawer is clean and not clogged. The water seems to kind of fill the tray to fast at that area. I have tried turning down the water pressure, but it does not work.
i tried to drop the main drain hose i didnt see any holes or feel any. but i couldnt get it all the way out. is there any other reason why it would dump water on the rinse/drain cycle? maybe the drum.
I tried pouring water in my detergant area to fill the drain pump back up. But i noticed as i did this i saw water leaking out from right under the washing machine right below where the drain pump is. Could you tell me which problem is more likely?
I would take the top off and inspect the hoses going to the dispenser. During the rinse cycle water is also being diverted to the fabric softener section of the housing. That could be why only seeing it during the rinse.
@@redsed1565 Sorry about that! I just replaced the inlet assembly. It was pretty easy actually. This was a long time ago but I still have the washer and it doesn't leak so I guess I fixed it. lol But mine wasn't leaking in the tub it was leaking on the floor. You may have a different issue.
My washing machine drum is filling up with water once in about every 2 days. I removed the water inlets and apparently there is no dripping from them. Yet, I left them in bowls and I am waiting to see if they are the cause of the problem. If they are not, what other parts might be the reason?
@@dianaasare4895 After keeping both water inlets in bowls for about 2 days, I could see the faulty one. I replaced it with another inlet and had no problem since then.
Mine is leaking either at the front or middle of the washers left side(looking at it) ( or the floor COULD be slanted and its acctualy the back but i doubt it) Im betting either something is stuck in the softener adding place hoe (which is likely BUT the washer start usualy leaking from the very begining of the wash( and im assuming softener is added only from the middle ti the end of cycle and so the water gets there) so unsure. Lemme come back tomorow or tuesday and update what i discovered after taking off the front ( cause right now i gotta wash them clothes 😂) Fyi its not leaking A LOT. Id say a 1/4 of a glass of water, mostly at the beginning of the cycle. I've been know to sometimes most likely overload the machine so i hope its not the center damage.
I have 3 cats and enough cat hair stuck in the bellows and drain holes from tub to make a 4th. Eww. No one warns of that. I’m hoping since mucking it out that will help my water issue which is water seeping out between bottom of tub section and above bottom panel whirlpool Duet front loader.
You're not trying to be a social media influencer, just providing good useful info. Thank you!
This video is 1,000,000 times more helpful than the LG web site.
Honestly
but the background music sucked so bad I never watched the whole video

This video is so useful. Great knowledge shared!! I am fed up of waiting for the technician to come fix the leak, I'm going to do it myself
Very good video. I’ve spent more time repairing our POS Maytag front loader in 2 years than I have in 12 years with our LGs.
I believe yr sharing of water leak of front load washing machine is certainly helpful. Many thanks
Loved the step by step and suggestions for if the screws, etc were located in different parts. Worked for me. Thank you so much!!!

That's the emergency drain tube I believe and on trying to empty mine, I pulled the whole tube out 😢. Now I'm trying to figure how to replace it

Good day my friend, I changed the bellow and it still leaks. If that retention is stiff and corroded could that be it?

Same with d situation here
Did I mess a part? Can’t pumps leak when they go bad?
my washer leaks from the bottom during the rinse cycle only...no issue during the wash cycle. Your thoughts, please?

lol. Wonder what that small item was in the rubber hose at the top! lol
Water valves also cause leaks. I've got a cold water inlet that is leaking. Also an easy fix.

So i guess this front load technology is crap vs the old tub style?
Pretty much so, I’m afraid. Front loader is a very delicate piece of equipment compared to the ‘old-fashioned’ top-loader with an agitator.
