This is Part 2 (because I will try to keep videos ~ 10 minutes) of "first steps" in Star Citizen. The complexity and magnitude that the game is supposed to have has always been the thing that kept me from setting aside the time to get into it. Finally decided to give it a try and I wanted to share the experience from my preferred starting location. I am not covering the other starting locations in this video, part of the adventure is experiencing that yourself! Please feel free to experiment!
Free-fly event starts on Thursday February 17th, and you can expect to have access to an opportunity to try the primary game functions (fighting, mining, exploring, cargo) by having access to 2-4 free ships during the free fly event. This is typically 7-10 days and definitely worth trying to see if this is a project you want to support.
** Update: You can try 5 starter ships and the event will continue until Feb 25th. Use the following link to gain access to the game without a game package:

4. Download launcher, install, and play!
