Not running out there as if you could do anything against them, besides karma kicking your arse. LMAO. Talk about F^&king around and finding out.
Instead of shooting him, you should have gone into the pilot seat and waited for him to walk out of the ship, only then to fly off, leaving him stranded and bewildered why his ship decided to have a life on its own.
Another fun strategy is if you shoot him don't kill him fully. Instead remove his gear and toss him out into the no-atmo area so the moon does the work for you. It's not an added crime stat if his real death was "natural causes "

@@mattvmalone lmao it's been in development since 2010 (when pre-production began). Being "in alpha" since 2013 is a bad look. Especially when the original release date has been delayed since it was originally set for 2014. If you have fun with it, more power to you. But don't assume the rest of the world has standards as low as yours. Starfield, Bethesda's latest garbage, took 7-8 years to make, had 500 developers, and a budget of about $500,000,000. Star Citizen has been in development for 13 years and is still in Alpha, has about 500 developers as well, and has so far taken well over $700,000,000 so that it could remain in a buggy messy alpha state for 10 years after its proposed release date. It can be argued that Bethesda released Starfield unfinished, which would increase the actual development time imo to about 8 or 9 years but after that point we have a finished, packaged, and ready to play game that offers mod support. While it isn't the best comparison because Starfield is a single player game and star citizen is attempting to be an MMO (ya'know, the least profitable gaming business model), it makes the point that at best, CIG is out of touch and under skilled and at worst, it's a live service scam. I was there from the beginning. I'm not happy to call this game garbage because I was one of the first backers. I'm glad you get something out of the game but you aren't going to neg someone into liking the game and your attitude towards people who are justifiably upset with CIG isn't going to do anything to help the game. Simple fact of the matter is that it's packed full of bugs, has garbage animations, and they keep adding more stuff onto the grocery list of issues than they are removing and if we see a release date fulfilled prior to 2030, I'd be genuinely surprised. We will have Fallout V and maybe even Half Life 3 before CIG moves the project to Beta testing.
Ngl, the idea that you can just sneak aboard a ship and hijack it is really cool. The amount of realism and freedom in that is just, *mwah*. Though I don't know anything about Star Citizen, nor will I ever probably have the disposable income or the proper rig for it, so this is just a pleb's opinion.
I wish there were more games where you had vehicles large enough to contain "rooms" (eg a ship/submarine/mega-tank) and you can walk around those rooms WHILE the vehicle is being driven. Only other game I've seen doing this was Subnautica on PS4, an open world underwater game, but its full of irritating bugs that were never fixed. The kind of game you get into, get far, then it starts constantly crashing. Its not even by Bethesda lol.
Welcome to SC. I started playing last year right about this time .. Yeah a bit of a curve, lots of keys and keybinds to commit to muscle memory - but OMG sooooooooo much fun.
You did the good old horror movie trick hiding on the backseat with an axe :D in this case it was a space ship and a bathroom but the good old basic campfire story fear still stays the same. Even in the year 3000. But thank you very much for this valuable tip I always wanted to fly one of these 2k bucks ships available in this game. Surely there are many hiding holes and air vents in these.....
@@hiya2793 I wouldn't brag about the gameplay, I've seen a glitchy prone, I've seen enemies just stand there while they get bodied, sure the ships look beautiful and the game looks good but that isn't enough. You aren't paying all that money just to look at an art piece, you want real gameplay. Considering this game has been in development for well over 10 years and has gathered over 300 million, you would figure this game would be complete by now and have a hell of a lot of gameplay. Considering how many games have been released since this game started development that has had a hell of a lot more gameplay added. I would have purchased this game a long time ago if it was completed, or at least completed to the point where you had proper gameplay goals aside from landing on planets and landing at bases.
And here I am feeling like a badass when I clear a military settlement in Elite: Dangerous. Then I see someone take out an entire commslink and almost steal over 600 grand singlehandedly in SC.
the ships look like fishes, the fish feeds by the red things that shoot out of it, and when the other ship approaches, its like the fish is now aware of the other bigger fish and going in defensive cautious mode
What the hell did you think was going to happen when you ran out in to the open, from behind a thick tree line, when multiple ships were flying in straight towards you.
I was running to more cover and i thought it was an a2 so it was the only option to keep moving away from what i perceived to be an inbound bomb. Easy to say after the fact.
@@H.O.D.S guess I am unaware of how big those explosions can be. I would assume they'd be multiple smaller bombs and not 1 huge bomb to level the whole place
This is the fucking amazing emergent gameplay I love in games like Rust, Star Citizen, and other MMOrpg-esc sandboxes. Doing something completely batshit insane for the sheer rizz factor of it, and forcing others to bear witness to it.
Did you realize later it was hard to escape because you had VTOL on still, lol? Got a good chuckle there. Should also consider leaving power on with max capacitor to shields when you get out to go do stuff; you'd be surprised how much more time that can give you. Cutter also has blast shields you can deploy over the side cockpit windows, not that they do much but figured I'd throw that out there.
I'm just imagining he just got the ship and tjekking out, doing a tour with his friend, opening the bathroom and the look on their faces seeing you there lmao.
@@rainbowsixODST yeah but I play Sea of Thieves. It's part of the game. As HOD said, never leave your ramp down. You wouldn't park your car but leave a door wide open.
I am interested to understand how the whole game mechanic works now, if someone steals your ship what happens ? do they get to own it ? do you lose it ? or does that insurance merely replace it etc ?? how is death handled in general ? Is there actually a game worth getting into now ?
i love these videos, i just really find it hard to believe that you got that cutter that easy. The random cut as well as the player just standing there with the ramp open were super suspicious
Love how the head constantly clips through the hood. Bet everyone feels amazing about the amount of money they gave given the dev team, for a game that may never release
Over 300 million dollars, over 10 years and they still don't have a finished product. It's an absolute joke. The main problem with developing a game over such a long period of time is that Graphics improve, gameplay improves, Hardware changes, software changes, and you spend more time just trying to update your current game to match today's standards. You end up in a never-ending Loop of just trying to improve your game engine instead of finishing it and creating a damn product.

Great stowaway move, would have been cool to have come out mid flight to watch what was happening through the cockpit window, and horrible for that player when they exited their seat and the animation swings them around to see somebody stood there with a gun pointing at them with nothing they can do
Used to do this a lot. Would fly a cheap ship out to a trade outpost or package pickup marker, self-destruct the ship I came in on and just wait and wait. Cutty blacks being so popular for players doing package delivery, especially around 3.12 or 3.13 when it was big aUEC to do those Hurston pickups. It was great because I would always hide out in the turret. Looks a lot more fun now though with looting gameplay and more crim missions.
The suspense lmao I hate when youre in a hurry and the chair just rotates slow af lmao!! I wonder if u have a crime state and be in the msr smuggler port would you be unseen or its too soon for aloha?
Came back to say that thanks to this vid, I always check every inch of my ship before take-off. Only ever had one guy try it but still got him before he could even leave.
Man this game is soooo good. I just hope they optimize it soon. I have a 3070, 11th i7, and 64g of ram and my rig still gets really hot and struggles sometimes.
@FUBARguy107 something i figured out since my original comment was i actually hurt my performance by lowering graphics settings in an attempt to help. That put a lot of strain on my cpu, now i have all setting at max and it put more load on my gpu but it runs much better now. And nowhere near as hot. Lol kinda backwards
I once had two nice fellows, dressed in black armed, flying with me. They where jumping, I was jumping. As soon as we entered space they killed me. Now I shoot everything that moves.
This game has been in production for years with a huge budget how are there still so many graphics artifacts! Clipping, inconsistent texture, modeling camera issues, and so on.
I remember watching a video that said something like its got too many devs doing what they want to do over what they need to do? and they have a player base that dont mind any more, like most of the players playing are going to keep playing almost not matter what.
I cannot be the only one that found it hilarious how bro tried to hide by laying on the bed. "I've mastered the ability of standing so incredibly still that I become invisible to the eye"

@@H.O.D.S yeah it looks exhilarating that kinda palm sweaty hoping they don't spot you sadly I made my comment before watching the video so I was saddened when you popped the driver but it makes for way better content so completely understandable and thinking about a passive space hobo might be really boring to film but I think could be fun to play since I don't know much if you happen to reply I was wondering if it's possible to like steal food and water on people's ships? Something about low impact theft so the person later goes mad trying to figure out why their short. Long after I'm gone sounds funny
Unintentionally did something similar a while back. Was trying to spawn my Carrack at PO and another guy had a carrack sitting on the pad. I ran out to ask him if he could lift off and as soon as I got up the ramp to join his ship network he closed and locked the doors. I hid in astrographics while he flew to pick up contraband at one of the nearby moons. I let him run back and forth to the shelter a couple times before I ran up and hopped in the command seat and took off, pointed the nose right at the entrance to the shelter and waited for him to come out. He came out, looked up and wrote “hey, is someone in my ship?” In global. I turned and jetted back to PO only to have the defense turrets open up on me thanks to the contraband. Jumped out the front ramp and EVA’d to the station while I watched the stolen carrack explode. That’s why i always close ramps and doors behind me.
It's great how a galaxy spanning civ happens to have spaceships with less built-in security systems than a Kia. Of course such oversight will be well taken advantage of.
But is it also a game that leaves you open when you log out? As in: when you quit and come back 1 day later, will everything be destroyed and stolen by cheeky chappies and all you have left is your knickers? Hell if its like Conan, even your knickers will be stolen and/or destroyed lol.
I hate players that do this. I remember when the Connie was new and I bought one and everyone was constantly trying to jump on the elevator with me. Was really fkin aggravating
The premise stated in the beginning you start with nothing. No start gear not even a space... but then you stated you had to gear up so I guess nothing mean gear with a gun. so I am guessing your friend let you kill him and fly his ship. Oh well you do you thanks for the video.

I was surprised last year to find this game still exists, it's a scam that they've gotten away with for so long.
@@kieranhosty And you numpties have been saying the same false shit for far too long. Seriously, you know nothing about the game.
@@kieranhosty it's only getting worse, and rabid fanboys are still more than happy to donate to Chris Roberts' OnlyAlpha

Imagine a game that's raised nearly a billion dollars not being able to model a hoodie that doesn't click through the players head
I just bought this game after watching. Looks like a massive learning curve though
yep good luck in the verse its hard to learn but rewarding once you do!
Welcome to SC. I started playing last year right about this time .. Yeah a bit of a curve, lots of keys and keybinds to commit to muscle memory - but OMG sooooooooo much fun.

It can be, especially when you learn about all the different game loops and game play styles.
*a learning brick wall
Funny idea, just sit in a random players toilet and let bounty hunter chase after them xD
That's content right there.
I'm glad I always check my Cutter's bathroom before take off, and close the doors when I exit.
For we can only hide in empty space. I'm sure in the future they'll add crawling in vents and under your bed sheets ❤❤
I learned two things here.
1) always check my bathroom
2) it's really easy to kidnap people in star citizen
use the At Ease emote when tucking bro .the Geez don't affect you

@@hiya2793 cope
How can you say this is zero to hero when you have a full space suit + guns at 3:00 in, you're not even following your own rules
the ships look like fishes, the fish feeds by the red things that shoot out of it, and when the other ship approaches, its like the fish is now aware of the other bigger fish and going in defensive cautious mode
The fact that you can do this is insane
More reason if I want realism, I stick to Eve Online. The backstabbing only comes from one way.
Not really...
@@frauleinhohenzollern No sweetie, to you it isn't.. Perspective baby.
What the hell did you think was going to happen when you ran out in to the open, from behind a thick tree line, when multiple ships were flying in straight towards you.

Wow I had no idea stealing another players ship would be this easy in a game like this!
I am interested to understand how the whole game mechanic works now, if someone steals your ship what happens ? do they get to own it ? do you lose it ? or does that insurance merely replace it etc ?? how is death handled in general ? Is there actually a game worth getting into now ?

My 2070 Super basically just goes all fans on at 80% speed to run it. Seems mostly stable. Mostly... 😅
