Edit 3: So this video aged awkwardly lol. this was created long before toilet paper became a luxury (omg am I really writing this) 😂. I also have a similar rag curl tutorial. Also also you can see in the video I reuse these. I look forward to the day TP is no longer worth more than gold 😭😹 - Hey friends! So after this video I actually started using only paper kitchen napkins instead of toilet paper and I feel like it's so much better! They don't rip as easily, which makes them easier to tie and reuse. TP continues to be a great of course, especially if you are traveling and don't have anything else available. Just wanted to put that extra tip out there 🤗💕EDIT: I also have a new video on how I do this with fabric! On channel :)
What a neat idea!! I’m going to have to try this. My mom used to get her hair done in “rags” when she was little, which I believe is very similar. Just use scraps of material instead of paper! 😊
i do the same exact thing except i use rags (cut up old t-shirt) and it works a bit better since it doesnt rip however, it does hurt when i sleep since it's not as soft as toilet paper 😋
Hah yes idk why I forgot about rag curls!! I actually did an update video with those!! And intersting. I still find them pretty comfy but every head is different haha
AHH this makes me want to try rag curls, because I'm tired of the curlers with plastic parts. And I love pillow rollers but for me, they're just not reliable any more. my hair hasn't dried in them because it's so long! Your hair looks GORGEOUS.
Trying this now, Unfortunately I had issues rolling (had to roll and reroll a bunch of times) and MOST of mine are sort of dangling because even when It felt like I rolled it up enough to sit on my head apparently I didn't. Hopefully that won't be an issue with the end result.
Are you sure you put any product in your hair like an essential oils or dry conditioner so basically anything for your hair in a spray bottle because that may be why also I thing you need to put a hair scarf on over night. I hope this helps
Not sure your hair length, but for my long hair I first wrap a strand (starting from the middle of the strand) around the paper and the roll the rest up. If it's ripping, I suggest rag curls which work wonders too :)

Oh no! Are you unable to roll them in place?
Vicky Bermudez that’s my exact problem

Instead you could cut up an old shirt and curl your hair with that!
That looks like it took ages
Uau 💕
