Don't get me wrong, the footage was great but the sound was absolutely amazing. Fantastic work!
Glad you enjoyed it! hats off to Andrew Keating for much of the wizardry
Amazing!!! This is absolutely incredible footage
agreed, awesome footage
it sure is Zack... I hope you're good!
Once again, CP catches it like no one else!!! You can really see what is going on with those engines, which obviously received heavy damage during lift off. The shock waves seen in the slo mo rising vertically along with the OLM debris they carried no doubt played a significant role in the damage that was done to the vehicle. I am so proud of team CP for their amazing audio and video capture of this event. Cudos.
CP ☠️
@@robberbarron7602 🤣
abbreviating anything to cp is not a good idea
Listening to this with good headphones is such a joy
Incredible work. The corrupted debris shot and the tracking shot are just spectacular.
Ryan, you did an unbelievable job tracking that thing. Well done
Maryliz, you and Tim’s reaction to these launches is one of my favorite parts. It’s just pure excitement and I absolutely love it!
Incredible audio and footage, thanks to the entire team for working so hard to bring it to us. EDA and CP are 2 channels that I am happy and proud to support
Thank you!!
I absolutely love that you kept the rowdy ocean in frame at the beginning. The audio is incredible. You all just kill it every time!!!
For ITF2...
'Could you just' duplicate this tracking rig a few times, and have one concentrating and zoomed in on the flamey end, another on the whole ship, another from a different angle... Perhaps one in Mexico... !!!
This setup works so well. We just need a lot, lot more of it!!!
Much in the works!
@@CosmicPerspective You folks do too much for us :')
Frikin amazing stuff! Thank you so much, Liz, Ryan, Adnrew, Tim and who ever worked on this! Thank you for capturing it like this! Here's to IFT2! ♥
It is nice to constantly be reassured that Tim Dodd deserves his success, wonderful passion for spaceflight and lots of hard work, he's great!
Once again, brilliant work you guys. During these landmark test flights, it's great to know that Cosmic Perspective and The Everyday Astronaut will be there capturing the very best footage, so that we can relive these historical moments, again and again. The behind the scenes human story sounds brilliant. Can't wait! Thank you so much for all you do, and the way that you do it.
I just love the sound! Incredible. Thanks everyone, cant wait for the next launch
That was so incredible. I actually got teary when the song hit near the end. Thank you guys for providing access to the most amazing footage to the most amazing launch of the year!!!!!
Can they ever have an Audio feed that is just the Rocket? With no cheering?
The sound of the vehicle by itself is amazing.
Never heard that version yet. From any major Space X launch
Great visual footage though. Really good.
We are working on a complete audio archive of spaceflight, just what you are looking for
Imagine the footage on a clear day 😳Here's hoping to the awesome footage you get for the second flight
Fantastic footage, and in lovely 4k too..... thank you.
As this was shot at a wonderfully high resolution, it would be amazing if you could just zoom in, crop out and stabilise the flamey end footage, showing the engines, the explosions, the debris flying off, etc.
This is where all the interesting stuff happened. And it would be great to see it as closely as possible!
I don't think people understand the power of that thing when all engines are firing. 2.5 Saturn v. Insane.
Holy crap, that is some really awesome footage! Congrats
Love this footage!!
Amazing footage as always!
Oh Wow! All the footage is crazily magic, but when the tumbling started.. that was out of this World! The tracking and focus was so good! Hopefully Starship will make it out of this world next launch!! Great job!👍👍🙂🇬🇧
Mind blowing. Fantastic job , great video 👈👌🤙🤟🫡
As always, the best presentation with camera work that surpasses even SpaceX. Great job!
Incredible footage, Ryan!! Great job, and thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
With the sound, visuals, and the reactions from everybody there, it still makes me giddy even 3 months later. I really wish I can experience it myself sometime.
Amazing job Cosmic Perspective!
Magnificent! 👍🏾
I look forward to the when this beast is fully functional with payload and eventually crew.
Thanks for the compilation. ❤
Unbelievable how those stages stayed together for so long, Can't wait for the Next Launch! Awesome Vids Thanks!
You always have the best footage, keep it up!!
The sound ast 2:00 is just awesome , that kind of power is just insane. a fully loaded large airliner is about 180,000 pounds of thrust , the BFR is 17 million.
The tracking shot was amazing! Thank you for all your hard work!
I sure hope that the next launch is a little bit less dusty with the help of the shower head😂
Awesome footage! Thank you!
I was lucky enough to see one launch of the space shuttle while visiting Florida. It's truly incredible.
Absolutely phenomenal work
What a treat.
1:00 The shock waves are clearly vissible. Amazing!
Dude it always gets me when they are close to the waves they are whipping around but from afar it doesn't look like that cool stuff
I thought I had run out of tears and goosebumps for this launch. FAR FROM IT - thank you so much for this
No words! Thank You.
I'd Upvote this just for watching Tim's reaction as Starship/Super Heavy was lifting off the pad.
Very cool shots. Great jobs.
Everyday Astronaut’s response, I’m going to be on that thing😅
Great footage! The best I’ve seen! Thank you!
Fantastic footage!! ❤ i can't wait for the IFT2❤❤❤
5:20 imagine having a headset on during this masterpiece of sound
Very thanks !
I can always trust you guys to capture the most epic video and audio!!! ❤❤❤
Gooooooooooooooooood !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best perspective is the cosmic perspective
Stunning once again, nailed it! What a amazing capture.
Great cinematography as always, but I've got to say, the audio in this is otherworldly at times. Awesome!
Great footage!
Until now, when we saw big powerful rockets ascend, it was always on a thick orange tail. Even the HydroLOX rockets often utilize solid rocket boosters. @9:30 we can clearly see through the exhaust into the nozzles. As if the engines were merely prop lights and SuperHeavy a model in a SciFi movie.
It is so surreal that it took me until now to grog why it didn't feel like this was the most powerful rocket taking flight: the flames visibly coming out of the rocket is what gives it its aura of unbridled power. And SuperHeavy resembles more an LED flashlight running out of batteries.
Dang! I remember watching it live. Looking forward to the next launch if this giant.
13:00 it's amazing it took off with so many engine failures. A testament to the designers.
Still have goosebumps.
Well I thought that was just brilliant, no other word for it.
Have you thought about buying a Celestron RASA 36 and a sony A1 for night launches?
It has an aperture of f/2.2 and a 60mm image circle for medium format cameras so with a focal reducer you would get an aperture of f/1.5 at 553mm of focal length.
What about the Sigma 14mm f1.4 and 105mm f1.4 to record the crowd reaction at the same time?
Great work as always!! What a monumental launch!
This was nuts!!!!!
your pictures are amazing very great job 🤩🤩
Absolutely incredible!!!
Epic Footage
epic!
stunning! to say the least!
6:15 Where is this shot from, Starbase? The sound is insane.
The Saturn V never exploded and its Rocketdyne F-1 engines never failed.
Neat
Gotta wonder how much weight is added by the frost. Presumably the longer it takes between start of fueling and launch the more water weight accumulates.
Well done
Well that was amazing.
wow the huge flaming chunk of debris thrown up in the air at 1:13 is scary looking
I was hoping it would blow up 100 ft. about the launch tower . That would have been an awesome success.
That's huge.
IT WAS A BEAST.
Quelle travail
wow. nice. words ....
So the rocket is like 400ft. So that flame is like twice as long as the rocket. It's truly an amazing 🚀 with like 800ft fire-breathing beast. And soon the meaning of interplanetary life.
LOL
Детёныш кита вырывается из толщи атмосферы ❤
All the birds were like "whao tf lets fly away from here"
wow! Brazil is so close!
Do you have the original 60 fps footage? This looks like it was poorly decimated from 60 fps to 24 fps. It's quite obvious by the jittery framerate.
wonderful
Wow! The first view makes you realize what a big mutha it is! Rock on SpaceX. And the vibration you feel is testament as to why the launch pad took such a beating.
11:30 you can hear the very dull thuds of the FTS system firing.
I saw Artemis 1 go up and most of us were speechless. Couldn't yell because of the shear noise and vibration. I love the video but annoys me that people try to scream over the experiences. We all clapped and were joyous after artemis was 3 minutes in flight. Most of people are fueled up on alcohol and probably won't remember much
Whatever to each his own
Looking at the video over and over, it is clear to me that this vehicle will never be man-rated unless/until they get those shock waves under control. They are more than strong enough to kill a person, and damage payloads. The giant water deluge system will help. But that won't prevent the shock waves traveling up the side of the rocket (and likely inside as well) like we see in the video. It must have a flame/shockwave diverter. But then, I'm a geologist, not an engineer. What do I know? 😄
Waiting for you
Everything safe God bless hilmon stigler jr and family and friends think you have a great day
🎉
Can someone PLEASE tell me where I can find the starship on board footage? Unless I'm blind and stupid, I can't find it anywhere. This is borderline infuriating.
Whenz IFT - 2 guys ...?
Anyone much know officially ..?
Question; Why didn't the Starship separate from the booster and land? Did it really need to be destroyed?
Bruhh
Is that oil in the water from deepwater horizon?
Subwoofer Warning!
Is this another rocket launch from South Texas or is this the old original one?
Original IFT-1
Bom
And hopefully on next flight there will be more steam instead of dust 😂
Its like a volcano erupting
Did any starship debris get recovered other than some parts of the heatshield?
i think someone found a copv off the coast of mexico idk if it was recovered
@@blue_staf4563 👍
Bruv. No need to composite the birds, the shot was pure. Beautiful work though.
