This video has some tremendous moments of emotion: Elon quietly walking amongst the landing pad carnage of SN8 to the sounds of a Nordic memorial choir and SN10 falling in its final death throes to a slowly devolving glissando. Don’t just see history; let the power of music help you feel it too. Oscar-worthy short.
The starship journey for me has been intense. Getting to work alongside Ryan has been so rewarding, an incredible human with so much talent, vision and dedication, putting the human touch on a monumental milestone in human history. And it’s only going to get better! Exciting times :)
The music and ways that you frame these shots are truly moving. I especially love the shot of the family "chasing" after SN10 down the road. Truly inspiring to the younger generations!
A masterpiece, truly. This can now be shared with all our friends and family, so that they can feel our excitement. Wow, the framing, the imagery, the editing, the soundtrack ... Thank you.
Here after the successful SN15 landing... IT LANDED! SN15 needs to be immortalized like 'Hoppy'. She's a keeper! Looking forward to seeing SN16 repeat.. and to the future!
Incredible!! So glad I stayed up for the premiere - I haven't had chills like that from the opening sequence of a film since your SN8 masterpiece. You guys are simply stupendous film makers.
Best clip since today...the sound and the cut...fantastic to see so... these great historical tests...please make it the same way of all coming SN flights, SN 15 yesterday was a very special moment for me, go further, we need more Elons to get humans back to hopeful feelings!!! Sry for my school english ^^
I've shown your channel to my entire family and they couldn't believe their eyes. What amazing artists you are ! Stunning! I'll continue sharing your work!
Some may think of this as some amateurs filming an excentric playing with his toys but history will show this to be some of the finest cinematography of the moment where humans became interplanetary. I hope everyone who is able to see this, watches this video and realises this is the most significant engineering challenge we've ever faced. I (genuinely) love your videos, thank you for doing this, please keep doing this. I'll share this with everyone I know in the hope that they witness the quality in the production and also the significance in our evolution. Thank you!
This video Does Not Have an End. It has a beginning that will never end. Also, you guys have some NICE toys! Thanks for sharing those views of your operations.
No sure what my expectation was when I clicked this video but whatever it was was completely blown away. Incredible work with all the feels. Amazing how many talented people are involved in everything around this little beach village in south Texas!
I still can not belive that Starship "SN8", flew at my 42th Birthday, at 12/10/20 (count it) and RAPTOR no.42 got SN8 to max height.... thats still so overwhelming. Thanks CP, this tribute is absolutly stuning and awesome!
I can't wait until the SpaceX UA-cam community finally gets the recognition they (you) deserve. In the next 10 years people are going to be scouring the internet for early footage of the starship program and it will be the content from You, Everyday Astronaut, NASA Space Flight, S Padre, Mary and all the rest that they will find. You have all become the conservators of this historic time and we thank you.
this is beautiful, it really feels the impressive technical/technological history we are seeing with humanity and feelings! Music, shots, slow-mos, editing...Loved it all! And what a great shot of SN10 landing on the right edge of the frame and some people chilling (and one "using the force") on the left, with a beautiful natural landscape in between. Amazing!
A very nice job! You guys and Tim make a great team. Your hard work, patience, expertise, and above all, your passion, help to bring all this excitement into all of our homes. It's also nice to be able to revisit these events whilst we await Starship's next huge steps, which won't come soon enough. When they do, it's great to know you guys will be there. Our eyes and ears. Thank you so much.
...Bloomin' fantastic!...a massive well done!👍🇬🇧🚀 I can see that being a treasured historical recap of the "End of the Beginning of the Starship Programme, early 21st century"🚀🚀🚀👍🙂
Thank You! We definitely feel like we are documenting this time so future humans can look back and ask "What was that time like?? What were those humans doing to set us up for the future?" Time capsules that we also get to share today
The six persons who had registered dislikes at the time when I watched this just have to be simpletons. Perhaps they don't understand and think they're disliking the failures. All of Cosmic Perspective's videos are superbly documenting this history.
I watch your images from France. And I am so satisfied with the fruits of your labor! It is simply sublime! Thank you for continuing to share this with us, I can't wait to see the future images of SN15 and the following ones (especially that of your cameras directly on Mars, filming the landing)
Thrilling and sentimental for me. Happy to say I've watched all this develop avidly. It's amazing to see the future of humanity being built before my eyes. Even the struggles bring me pride and hopefulness.
As a man who knows the talented man personally and had the honor to work with him professionally. A man who wants nothing but to educate and lt people in on the righteousness of Space Flight and our continued journey to the stars. Now who in the actual eff were the chowders who disliked this masterpiece?????
This is a work of art. Exquisite photography especially with all of the detail retained in those moments where the exposure could have easily gotten blown out. The score too just underlines how I feel when looking back on these launches. When the day comes to have a museum exhibit on Starship I genuinely would hope this video gets incorporated into it!
Beautiful video as always! 👍🏼👍🏼 Honestly though, my favorite parts are seeing the CROWDS of people coming together so excited and supportive of space flight. Gives me hope.
Absolutely incredible! The music sets the tone so perfectly!!! Keep up the great work, so proud to be a Patreon supporter!

SN10 had the most successful and yet most tragic flight. The piano piece suited extremely well to SN11. Great work, CP.
