They would never do that... best place to keep these is shared inventory slots which cost a bunch. And they want you to use up multiple slots instead of just one.
Yeah, AND that the corn needs to be in your inventory, but that can be worked around. I hope they rework it to still do the different boosts, but grant bags rather than transform, AND it is now a vendor window.
there's also some gathering tools that give snowflakes. I used to use them before I got the ones for unbound magic. thanks to guild halls, wvw, and full home instances I have 47k unbound magic to spend instead of snowflakes.
Really helpful - I had no idea about boosting like this. Just angry with myself that we've recently come off the Halloween event and I didn't know about the candy corn version. Could be happy stacking by now. he y ho. Perhaps next year. Thanks again.
To be fair, candy corn gobbler is extremely annoying. You need to have candy on you, it has internal cool down, meaning you can't just spam click it, it gives many different buffs and most of the times it Will give no buffs, just transform you, you can't use it in combat, you'll spend a lot of time with your inventory open spamming it for minutes while trying to play the game at the same time. Snowflake gobbler offers less but it's extremely better to use.
@@GeneralAblon Although i agree the clicking can be frustrating sometimes, but i can get up to 22h pretty easily! What i do is before i start my pvp/wvw or pve, i put on some relaxing ASMR and i actually close my eyes and lay down with my laptop on my stomach, and i just click non-stop with my eye closed and after a few minute i have like 4 or 5 hours or more.... that's how i do it since i love ASMR, it's a double win! Also in between pvp matches or waiting to for queue in wvw or waiting for fractals or bosses, I always click to top it back up instead of afkig like 90% of players.
I shouldn't have gambled my gold away, now I gotta watch a guide on how to make gold during wintersday before I can even think about getting the gobbler.
watching this because currently (30/11/22) the snowflake gobbler is on sale. however the price of the snowflake is 1s57c per piece which is 3g92s per stack.. and that's expensive compared to candy corn of zhaitaffy is 26c each ~ 65s per stack. If the snowflake price is in current price, I think I can wait for the Zhaitaffy to return.
My Christmas gift for you folks: tl;dr return on the Gobbler is about 100% giving about 40 s/hour At current prices 141 c per Snowflake and best Reward track (Sandswept Isles) being worth about 24 g the return on the Gobbler is about 100% giving about 40 s/hour (Gifts sold in the summer at 5 s). Not counting the price of the Gobbler itself. The math: Reward track = 24 g, in WvW that means 20000 points = 12 c per point. You get 195 per tick (5 min) on L6 participation. That means per 1 use of the Gobbler you will get additional 146,25 points per 15 min. 146,25 points = about 1755 c. Chance of the Gobbler giving Gift instead of buff is 20-25%. 15 min buff cost then 6,25 Snowflake * 141 c = 881,25 c. Wintersday Gift sold in the summer is about 5 s. So you are getting (1755 - 881) * 4 + 500 = 3996 c/hour Current price of the Gobbler (320 gems) is 101,8796 g. That means you need to play under the buff about 291 hours to break even. It's good to say that Snowflakes are generally cheapest just after Wintersday event and can go as low as 85 c which puts the break even at about 200 hours. if you count the price of the Gifts (5 s) sold in the Summer then the break even is about 255 hours respectively 188 hours with Snowflakes at 85 c. So as with everything in GW2 it's worth it in the long term.
Idk if someone has mentioned this before.. but if you use the Candy Corn Gobbler for Spvp/WvW reason use it IN WvW and Spvp areas only. If you use it in PvE there is a lower chance of getting the XP, Magic fine and Karma buffs. Because in PvE you can get the Damage, Defense and Speed buffs that do not exist in the competitive modes
Not true. Says in the wiki that if used in WvW/PvP, the drop % for PvE buffs is added to the transformation so its the same buff drop rate for the remaining, youd just be transforming more often.
Very helpful video, the WvW buffs may make me consider buying this item. Next year. ANet got my stash of gems when I did a server transfer last month lol Shouldn't the Candy Corn Gobbler be in the links? (No big deal, it's easy to search lol)
Candy corn gobbler (xp boost) it's 50%, dragonbash or winter day goober it's 25%, black lion boost (the black boost) gives another 50% and guild hall boost give 10%, amulet enrichment gives another 10% I think that's all boosts
Another thing im buying cause of your vids... Anet should give u some sort of item referral code or something, just to see how much they earn due to your in deep explanations muk.
I've regretted getting the snowflake gobbler as soon as I started to use it. All I ever get out of presents are junk food and just junk. Same was true for trick or treat bags. Gems cost money and i want something more for my money than filling my bags with stuff I'm just going to throw away.
candycorn gobbler is fucking garbage, from 10 use you will get 9 transmutation and waste 27 candy, its EXTREMELY annoing and this item is the only item in whole game im sorry that i purchase it, pure waste of golds
I'd like to note that they nerfed the candy corn gobbler and you can now only use it three times a day. They did this almost immediately after your video on it.
@@MuklukUA-cam Everytime I tried it, it wouldn't let me do it more than three times. I cannot spam it like you show. Maybe because you're a partner they let you do it more?
Now we need a gobbler that combines them. A tab per festival and they should all operate in similar ways, though potentially give different buffs.
They would never do that... best place to keep these is shared inventory slots which cost a bunch. And they want you to use up multiple slots instead of just one.
I bought it right away, was my first thing that I do on patch day lol, now I have track reward progress in +75% since I all do is pvp and wvw
I very much prefer this gobbler to any other. So worth it. Thanks for the vid!
I live in Florida. We have no snowflakes. But at least it’s worth it for those Northeasterners. Stay warm folks.
Will do thanks!
Excellent, thank you. I’ll pick one up.
The worst aspect of candy corn gobbler is internal cooldown
Yeah, AND that the corn needs to be in your inventory, but that can be worked around. I hope they rework it to still do the different boosts, but grant bags rather than transform, AND it is now a vendor window.
@@GeneralAblon I hope they just leave it as it is. Otherwise, knowing ANet, they will change the buff to be the same one, too.
Thanks for the info, i was waiting for the video to decide if buying the gobbler
Love the help Mukluk on what are the best must have items in the gem store. These videos are a HUGE help Global Icon

The sickle is bugged and doesnt give flakes
I already got this item based on something you said during your stream. Great video none the less! - Vrangor

I knew a guy once. He died trying to get 2 hour of xp boost from candy corn gobbler. True story.
It is SOOOO frustrating. Time saved~time spent clicking.

I didn't get the candy corn gobbler because it's a pain in the ass, and the hand, but bought this one instantly. Very worth, fuck candy corn

Does anyone know if these Boards are worth it? I don't have any home instance stuff. (Started playing after a 3-4yrs hiatus back in August).
why the hell the hallowen gobbler is not like the snowflake ? i hate the constant clicking

do snow flakes get pricier or cheaper during wintersday m
