I about had a panic attack mailing those infusions I borrowed back. One typo and I would've been in debt for life.
Update: Due to Anet realizing players were selling amulets by mistake. Instead of "charged quartz..." blah blah amulets dropping, the infusions just drop now for those bosses.

Same here. I've borrowed ghost infusion and a few other rare ones, and mailing them back was always stressful. I always reread the name 9 times to make sure it was the right person, make sure there were no typos.
I first thought that, in case of such a typo, you maybe could just spend the revenue of this video to buy gems and pay him back. Then I checked... That would be over $10,000 worth of gems. R.I.P!

Heart of the Khan-ur infusion was originally from Grothmar Valley and can still be looted as a super rare drop from the Vault of The Khan-Ur in Grothmar Valley. Opening the vault requires you to have four tokens of the four charr legions from metas around Grothmar. Drizzlewood Coast meta is faster to complete (less downtime between metas) and more profitable, but if you really want the infusion you may also start farming Grothmar.
Drakkar from Bjora Marches meta can drop the Winter's Heart Infusion to add to your list of infusions.
I actually once got the Queen Bee Infusion when I was still a newbie at the game. It sat in my inventory for I don't know how long until I realized that I literally had an item worth about $500 (at the time) sitting in my bags. It took me weeks to sell because I had no reddit rep, but I did end up finding a buyer for it in the end! I ended up spending all of the gold on gem store items (I know, its painful) instead of investing in other money-making methods such as crafting and whatnot, since I didn't know how the system worked at the time, and I'm an absolute sucker for cosmetics. Funnest day of my life on GW2 though for sure, just spending gold out the ass. :)
A nice thing about these metas is that pinata > td > ab > death branded shatterer timers line up perfectly

You can squeeze leyline anomaly before chak and ooze meta in Grothmar before DBS for cca 6 g more.

@@philipfazioli7589 leyline anomaly gives you a mystic coin, 50 silver and few lesser rewards along with map reward for completing an event... It usually sums up to around 3 gold worth of stuff. Ooze meta in grothmar gives you the blood legion key and a rare unidentified gear which also roughly sums to 2,5-3 gold... Which means you can earn 6 gold more per rotation if you squeeze them in the sequence.

I knew Drizzlewood was worth farming! It has soooo many drops, it's just so profitable and you can just mindlessly farm it. Not only you get the reward tracks to help, but with the blessing of otter you have an ever higher chance of getting rare drops from champions (not the infusion items of course, but I mean it gets even more profitable).

The collectibles in this game are really well done. Anet could rework the infusions and put them into "effects tab". It would be much better and more convenient if you could buy/drop an infusion and then soulbound it into your "effects tab". Then you could use it just like transmogs and dyes so you could pick the effects that you think look cool and still have your normal stats. WoW did this with enchant effects. You can mog your weapons and change the enchant animations for small amount of gold without having to worry about changing stats. If this would be a part of 3rd expansion, it would be great.

Lol I found the liquid aurillium infusion in my inventory one day after having done the meta and salvaging some stuff. I had no idea it was worth so much till I looked at the TP. :P

Just one already looks enough. Saw a dude with a full stack once and it was just overkill. Too much.
You forgot to mention that, for the khan-ur infusion, you can get a recovered charr artifact every single day when you open the khan-ur chest in Grothmar Valley. Just WP to Dalada Forest waypoint, then go up northeast and there should be an entrance in the rocks. Takes you a minute or two to get it, so it's a far better alternative.
You have to have the key pieces for that one though. I also didn't mention the crafting recipe for the Frost infusion.
You are absolutely correct but the point of this was just to show metas where you can earn money, with a chance of hitting a jackpot at the same time.

@@bluestreaker9242 economy hinges upon mystic coin prices, not infusions... so long as the mc market doesn't get completely fucked with more events, a few more infusions in the hands of players won't have an impact
Question about the Drizzlewood farm: Is it more efficient to dedicate your commendations to a single legion or to have them divided equally among the 4 Legions so you are working towards all 4 end chests at the same time? It would take longer to get to the end of each one but thats 4 chances instead of 1.
So you could get 4 at once way later, or finish 1 4 times in that amount of time. That said: some legions are more profitable than others, and only some of them can give the khan ur thing. For that reason I funnel most of mine into blood. (I don't have any math to back that up, but that is my reasoning)

I wouldn’t be surprised if this has happened to me too. Before this video, I wouldn’t have known Charged amulets are anything special.

I'm like 90% certain this happened to me. I remember staring at an amulet with something like that in it thinking "gee that's weird" and salvaging or vending it. When I first played I didn't understand that salvaging was important, so I usually vended. This was years ago when I first joined Gw2 to get away from my Moba addiction (and then quit for a while until season 4).
The closed-caption are actually accurate this time for once.
Just sold the Exalted juice for like 1.3k gold which is enough for me to finish of Exordium (my first legendary besides the return achievement) and get some higher level bags, thanks Mukluk!

In Dragon stand u can kill up to 9 treasure mushrooms if you stay in till the end of the aftermeta champs phase.
so can i keep participating in the same meta event again and again every 2 hrs to get the infusion? Or does it only give a one-time opportunity per day?

Closest "lottery" I got was "Fused Axe"-skin, for a 100 gold (after 15 gold tax of course) from BL-chest

I started working on my second, but i think this time i might just sell something rare and grind that way. Crafting a legend is all well and good but it took me 5 years! im over it. Thanks for the heads up!

Thank you for being relatable. I play for a long time and don't even have ascended stuff, and there's a new person on my guild playing for three months that already has legendary stuff and I'm like "wuuuut??". I feel more adequate now.

@@Rig0r_M0rtis I don't know how you are playing that you can't make any gold in GW2, because almost all of the rest of us are making gold very easy in this game, and there are tons of gold guides on UA-cam that can help you. I'm a very casual player that usually only has enough time to play for 1 to 2 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week, and I have already crafted 12 Legendary weapons since I started, which was about 6 months after GW2 launched. I'm almost ready to craft number 13, but need to do map completion on another one of my Alt characters first, and get a few more clovers. Gen 1 Legendary weapons are really easy to craft, once you have learned how, and set up a routine to make a few gold each day. I'm ready to move on to learning how to make more gold each day, and make gold faster, so watching this video was very helpful. @tombocai, probably the easiest way for you to get Ascended gear, is to start playing Fractals, and also level up your crafting abilities, so you can craft Ascended weapons and armor for yourself, plus sell certain Ascended materials after you don't need to craft for yourself anymore. That is how I make most of my gold in the game, because it is easy and relatively fast to do, when I don't have time to play longer. I'm going to add doing some of these meta events that Muk suggests, to my daily routine, which will hopefully increase my daily gold making as well as give me a chance for one of these infusion drops some day. Lastly, if you can't find friends to play with in GW2, join a different guild, and make some new friends.

Depends on the meta, some are per day, some are per meta, I would consult the wiki on the ones you are interested in.
Recommended order will depend on when you play, but I can tell you that some occur back to back to one another, such as chak gerrant -> octovine -> deathbranded shatterer
I got the crystal infusion out of totally luck in last year dragon bash event bag, at first i didnt know what the hell was it, then i saw the price at the TP and as i was building AR for my main i thought it was a great idea to plot it in my armour, it is really cool tho, i like it so much in my toon, but i kinda lost 4k in gold really easy lol
Infusions are still tradable after equipping them. You can still sell it (if you wish to do so).
there is no timer for the silver waste meta event??

Great discord chanel, i used it before, never a problem, but always research the peoples names, there are a lot of black list of scamers for u to check, the discord chanel has his own list, but i recomend checking the web and redit too, anyways i have never encounter a problem, but if u have some, call a gm and show ur screenshots, they do fix this things if u have evidence, or at least thats what i have hear.

Crystal, chak, ghastly, and purple all on my mesmer. Each of my mains, mesmer, warrior, necro and ranger all have expsnesive stuff on them. I've gotten super lucky with a few of them. But most of them I've discord traded ectos for or other high end items for. Well worth farming and finding routs to make gold.
I know a lot of theses are out of most people's price range. But set goals. And like Muck said. It doesn't hurt to do the events. Even if you do them once a week. I don't really have a social life 😅 so I grind in game. But the cosmetic aspect in gw2 is amazing and genuinely fun. Especially since almost all of these events don't require you to be a set spec. So throw on something fun. Try and find a filled server and get that loot. If anything you'll be making money and gaining experience as you go. So it's worth it.
A year later and I'm a proud owner of everything you listed. I have all but 4 blc skins. Soo many hours spent farming and saving gold and other trade resources to obtain these items. And not just one of each aside from the charr infusion that, queen, and confetti are the ones I only have one. Thankfully liquid wasn't that hard and I ended up selling 3 to help fund for the damn charr. I ended up spending 18k worth of gold for it and for my 2nd and 3 purple nerple I mix with 1 liquid and 1 frost on my reaper. My reaper and mesmer are purple blue black themed. My thief and warrior I pass around the charr. But my engi is my main main. And he looks like money Baggs Mcgee he looks Hella exspensive especially with the predator aura added ontip and the Lego pvp back piece and mixed pve legendary style with other skins. Human of course. I need to make videos and make shorts of my acc. I'm proud of it. Been playing gw since 2005 went to radio shack for prof. Then we got everything else from famestop. I made him his first legendary on gw2 and he collects minis in both gw2 and still in gw1.

Tips and tricks? I multibox the metas so its like doing the meta two times (or more) per day. I use two accounts and i stack up on unidentified gear pretty fast, i salvage after opening them and gain alot of ectoplasm. Sometimes i do a few hero challenges in the map while waiting for metas to not waste any time. This has been very profitable and a personally fav playstyle ^^

They keep track of trades. So they might say "hey John, Bobby here wants to buy your sword at 95% of market value, he has done 105 trades without ever cheating anyone and has a good reputation" etc.
Is that affected by magic find %? Is it worth grinding magic find up?

This charged quartz orichalum amulet of exalted... Dropped two and salvage them because it's an exotic gear with useless stats to me... We need a "tp value" on the item right at the end of the description. Seriously! I have been playing for so long and never got more than 50g in bank...
What is the best rotation meta you recommend?
When things line up perfectly I can sometimes do dragonstand -> chak gerant -> octovine -> deathbranded shatterer (depending on if you can get into not-full maps back to back)
i got excited because i recall something about a chak egg on my bank, rushed to check and it was only chak egg not the sack. Well i'm still poor, but had a little hope for like 2 minutes and i now have the knowledge so i won't be selling any of those amulets whitout checking ·laughing in poor people's language·

to gain visual effect, you need to put them on specific gear, or any gear will do?
With an infusion just put it on gear that is showing. For example: if you put it on your sword then weapon swap to staff the effect would go away until you draw the sword again.

Or it's need to be weapon-armor-backpack only to get visual effects?

I believe they can be done more than once. I mean thats why people farm Silverwastes, Drizzlewood. They just redo the meta's over and over.
@@codybear5840 Well I know the Grand Chests in Octovine can only be opened once a day and he mentioned those specifically. But Piñata can be done multiple times right? Must be mix in here of some you can and can't do. Would be nice to know which ones are repeatable throughout the day!
