Update: The “slumbering conflux” step has been removed. Now you get conflux at that time and do not need to complete the steps that followed.
Conflux is now no longer unique and you can make and equip two of them if you wish.
So does this mean you can get Conflux without the Emblem of the Avenger (100 kills in WvW)? So now you can be total pacifist support and get it done. Wonder if it would earn a "Mist Pacifist" title.
So if i do conflux twice, it will be unlocked for all my characters and all can wear two conflux rings?

Do you have to make two rings? Or upgrade it and then You have two rings you can equip?
@@LeavEyeDDrum there's no such thing as upgrading it anymore, as the Slumbering step doesn't exist. the recipe that used to give you Slumbering Conflux now gives you the floating-ball Conflux instead, so no upgrading possible.

I remember getting The Ascension from PVP 4 years ago and it wasn't hard.
Pvp backpack is 150 wins over at least 2 league seasons, still faster to do the Fractal one, but quite reasonable to do 3ish matches a day for 100 days.
I just finished my Conflux a while back - now I know how I did it.

Gen 2 legendaries in general are so much more expensive than Gen 1. Mystic Tribute vs. Gift of Fortune = extra 250 mystic coins. Gift of Mastery vs. Gift of Maguuma Mastery/Desert Mastery = 250 ecto stolen from the Gift of Fortune + 250 Amalgamated Gemstones... Like, wtf?

I watched this video about 17 times and crafted the ring twice. Guide is really well put together.
As a note: For the Unidentified Dyes at the end to upgrade simply pop your WvW Skirmish Chests you've accumulated and pick the Uni'd dyes. No need to spend money here, just save the boxes
It is no longer required, but i'd still rather take the testimonies personally. Love being able to unlock whatever spec I want on a new character.
I'm almost finished with Conflux myself, just need to farm mystic coins for the mystic tribute. I would casually play WvW for daily quests since they boost your reward track by 250 or 500 points for each daily quest you complete. There are then several reward tracks that help with the mystic clovers you'll need since the tickets are the real time gate for this legendary. Good luck to everyone else that's building this legendary in preparation for the Armory coming out in GW2 in the future.
Yeah, the Skirmish Tickets aren't even influenced by your skill in the game, they are literally just a measure of putting time in.

This is the website I use to see how many pips I can expect per five minute tick and my rough weekly progress towards tickets. The left column you put down the chest you're working on, click the appropriate boxes for bonuses (outnumbered, personal level, committment, etc.) and the website tells you how much play time you'd need to maximize your tickets for the week.
Well it's only been a few weeks since I left a comment on your Transcendence and Coalescence videos. But Conflux is now done! I already had around 800 tickets when I started so it took me roughly 3-4 weeks. Great guide absolutely sublime! Off to the Vision video. Vision is the last trinket I need! Thank you again Muk!
Mukluk,your videos are amazing! Informative,tell the point,and in the same time intimidate me! Everytime I see the materials costs.... it scares me. I know these legendaries are long term projects,but doooode,they're expensive! I respect you for making these videos and getting all those materials to show us how to make things good. I hop into GW2 from time to time and i only made the PVP legendary wing (and that was enough for me to never do pvp again), but still watching your videos because your voice is calming and your videos are well made :D

If you're cheap....use badges of honor for the alpha seige golem and knock out a big spender daily.
One thing I would add is that, if you want any of the ls3/4 legendary trinkets you can do their respective rewards tracks (except jahai because why not) to skip the achievement for that map
WvW is extremely fun and made more fun if you join a guild with a good commander. It's easy spirit shards, remember to turn those into gold, easy loot bags and easy reward track xp. You get free lvl 80s all the time, never have to farm hero points again, its just the best game mode for having fun nonstop.

Finally I can min/max my infusion stats on rings without doing fractals. Took me a week to make both of these only because I already had 7k tickets.

We won't have to pick up as many berries as we had to in the last couple of years
The post for legendary armory was my main reason for making legendary trinkets but the devs have not said anything about it in a long time so I am losing faith in it ever happening.
Almost a year later, finally got my Conflux!!
Finally just about to finish this. Skirmish tickets for the average person is about 50-75 a week. Just aim for at least bronze (41?) so you get the warlord skins and take your time and try and don’t burn yourself out.
Basically, to get this, stop spending any WvW currency on other things. Hope you are already geared up!
I was away from the game for a while and when I came back I decided to buy a set of the WvW ascended armor and start the backpack leaving me with less than 100 skirmish tickets.
I was away for 10 years or so, forgot what i saved tickets for ( not that many anyway )
Decided to buy all weights sublime mistforged chests but not The rest of the parts to kick things off.
Then i started the wvw backpack grind and got it yesterday after close to a month of grinding.
Not sure if ill continue and go for the ring/rings or not, that would then be my third .leg.
Made enough gold for a sunrise during this grind as well(wvw only)
Beeing a core account starts to frustrate me a bit so I might get bored soon 😂
Sounds simple....now to put it into practice.
This is really a great legendary, the only thing that makes me hesitate is my OCD that if there’s a ball on one side of me I need one on the other too, but the PvP one requires 20 tournament wins which is tedious as hell, if not impossible.
Here’s hoping eventually you can get a full set of trinkets from all the game modes
is not just tournament match wins? I don't think you need to win a whole tournament 20 times

A comment for the algorithm
You can get 300 Skirmish tickets through the 200g Warclaw skin track. Massive boost for those like me that struggle to spend 40hrs a week in wvw to get 350 weekly max tickets.
Bruh wtf really? Is that track repeatable? I always wanted conflux but don't like wvw only pvp, it's the last trinket I need but the 6 week time gate just too hassle for me. If that track is repeatable I'd rather do that. I have all the requirements except the tickets ugh zzz.

How do you balance your time with farming in game and living life? It looks like an INCREDIBLE amount of time just to make one legendary, but a whole armor set? How do you manage that in a reasonable time?
@@wingnutmcspazatron3957 i think it may be for people who dont have cash for other games or people who like the idea of being guaranteed something for existing in game for a long period of time.
@@wingnutmcspazatron3957 late reply, but here it is: 2 hours a day is enough to make legendaries at a decent pace.
1 hour for fracrals (average of 25g / day), 1 for anything else you want.
@@andreistan2830 you have right. Just working on this one, and missing like 600 skirmish clame tickets and T-6 materials afcors. That's the way i do it, 2-4h daily playing. Usually i do wvw daillys and than fractals daily and rec. Sometimes strikes, wisiting fue world bosses, some meta-event if.., and crafting dailly time gated materials, home instance nodes farming. Thats unusual playing i do after 4 y. playing the game. Its only game i am playing thou, 2 year's with expansions. I find achievements system+crafting and Legendarys really good idea for end-game fun. And Muk hier has the right view on it, it's just something to do for achieving and being confie:))🐣
2years late,but this comment rings true,its somehow addictive, i am 4 months in the game,and alrwady have 4 legendary,now aiming this one (conflux) as my 5th legendaries on my way 5th month,this is coming from someone who hate how legendary item works in this game😅
With the legendary armory can I craft Conflux once and use both Slumbering Conflux and Conflux?

Yeah, I'm happy with my ascended gear, no need for legendaries. Gonna use gold for gems and buy some skins ;D I mean, legendaries are cool but not worth for me at least .
How do you store the legendary spike and the Emblems in your storage? or is it a film trick?

From scratch on wood level - it is 40 hours in a week to get cap of skirmishes per week. and that cap is crap - only ~300.

The amount of WvW you need to do to get this ring, you can make two or three legendary armor pieces. Skirmish tickets make me wheeze.
You need a really high rank for the armor though right?
Yep never going to get any legendary gear or weapons, but i can live with that.
If you are interested in PvP and don't mind going solo, ascension backpack is not hard to complete

@@johnlane7529 the glorious reward track gives I think one ascended piece per completion. You can always change stats if you don't like it

I thought the floating balls were only visible during combat, but it's visible in this video. I'm confused. Please help
They are visible when you unsheath your weapons. I unsheathed mine before doing the /talk emote to have the ball visible in the video.

Hey commenting in 2024, If i upgrade from slumbering into conflux, can i toggle it on and off like other legendary effects?
There is no longer a slumbering version, it will just craft straight to con flux, but it will have a checkbox to hide the graphic.

There is a checkbox in your inventory on the item, it reveals or hides it you may have it checked.

No it doesn't and unknown. They've announced they are making it, but no details yet.

me, who hates wvw and is annoyed that the gift of battle is in every legendary, watching this video.
I truly suck at WvW and tend to run in and solo dailies. Still got my gift of battle, just taking camps, killing vets, and monuments. In the US morning, in the desert.

I want to suggest that you change the ending music if you can, parts of it sounds like anime moaning and it's off putting, I always pause and skip to the next video instead of letting it play and go by itself, if you could do that the ending would be nicer :)

Absolute worst legendary trinket to farm, wvw is awful and the fact that active play doesn't boost your ticket drops ontop of the fact that it pays like crap made it a truly miserable journey.
my interest stopped when i saw i need to be in WvW. i only stepped into that game mode twice. both traumatic experiences. wont do so again.
mystic tribute needs to be changed.
