One thing I’d say to those who resonate with more than one, it’s because you are all 4 at once, not just one. We are a plurality of functions and traits, which blend together as the individual soul. To believe you are only one of these is to delude yourself to the rest of your psyche. My recommendation, find which pole you’ve tended towards on each scale. If you are immature in one trait, focus on embodying the positive traits of that archetype. If you are mature in one, don’t take it for granted, and learn to hone that part of yourself even further. Remember to have some confidence in yourself! But remember to truly self reflect as well. I believe in you!

Absolutely correct. The design of the book is to show the Terrain and how to locate yourself on it. Your goal is to balance in the center of it and view the outer corners as the drifting of the shadow. Each quarter has 2 paths up the mountain. You are a manifestation on one of them for each archetype. Maturity is getting up that mountain where you can see the view and have not just perception but perspective. Though folks have to understand that once you make it to the top its a constant check to see where you are. Its slippery up there at the top and easy to fall back down. Its a constant with humans we tend to over correct before we find balance. So you will find that you might identify too strongly then you over correct and move to the opposite pole of the shadow. though each time that you do you will remain closer to center. Just remember to keep moving forward.

I cant personally relate to any of these, but its remarkable because for each archetype I can think of a man I look up to that embodies it. Great video

Dominance - Red Influence - Yellow Steadiness - Green Conscientiousness - Blue I am of the Conscientiousness profile, introvert.
Thanks Erin, I enjoyed part one. Well organized and straight-forward. A few questions: You mentioned the relationship between the manipulator and the naive one. Are there any other interactions like that which pop up in folklore? What has your research revealed on how each of the archetypal expressions are shaped by their relations with the others, and the product of those exchanges? And what’s the analysis of how these relations are portrayed in humanity’s collective stories, in reference to the social programming of masculine affectations through history? i.e. Polti’s 36 dramatic situations, the I Ching hexagrams etc.. Looking forward to part two! Cheers, Adam
Thank you for this video Ms Byrd, which is as always, well researched and nicely exposed. It is refreshing, in these particular times, to see women having interests in men’s realm and contemporary reality. Thank you for that and your excellent work. Like many, I have seen and felt, the dichotomy between most adult men, raised with values entrenched in the past century, and further back, against the recent years of misguided feminism and unchecked capitalism, resulting in the gender debacle unfolding nowadays. As sadly shown by most metrics, may it be natality rates, divorce rate, loneliness, etc. The sense of having lost the simple common sense and natural tools to share interactions, and lives, between women and men, in such a short time, is baffling to me. Well, in the Western world mostly at least. Which is probably saying more about the culture I belong to than I’d like to admit. Poor Marguerite Duras she must be spinning in her grave. Thank you for your work. Cheers
Very interesting, I think the archetypes I most closely aligned with as a child was a precocious dreamer, as an adult the magician lover. Never was well balanced, but am content and well liked
Amazing video! I love Jungian psychology and archetypes. I definitely resonate with the magician, I'm a robotic welding technician. A lot of my job has warrior like aspects, enjoying the labor, getting dirty, working fast, hard and with skill. But it also takes a mix of knowledge and intuition. I also often find myself giving my friends life advice. I see all the archetypes in myself though. I'm a very loving father and husband, I love weight lifting and work.
Keep doing what you do, Ms. Boyd. If you haven't, I really think incorporating biblical themes and topics into these videos regarding masculine and feminine aspects of life would benefit your channel, and the people who enjoy your content Thank you!
I have really strong intuition, creativity, intellect and intensive emotions. The description of an undisciplined/chaotic lover felt fairly applicable to me. I also love fighting (mutually agreed upon fighting like sparring, not malice, in real life I actually prefer to keep the peace/dislike being combative/bad blood) and physical challenges, I resonate with intensely warrior-like characters in fiction too. I think it's part of that intensity and being intense in all aspects. I think I need to work on my discipline and self control of negative emotions the most.
Great video! I think splitting this into 4 chapters would make it more convenient to watch and youtube algorithm friendly as well. I bet you would’ve literally made x10 more views and spread your observations and ideas better
I'm looking forward to watching the next part of it. I'm in love with this channel. Thank you Erin for your effort to bring these so important subjects.
yeah - look at divorces and how men are treated. what are warriors fighting for? they realised that's not much to fight for in the modern age and most have walked away
masculine men take accountability. if you got divorced 1) you failed to pick a good life partner or 2) you failed to maintain the relationship. both of these are the key elements in your control. effeminate men shake their fists from the sidelines and opt-out of the game. they're either unable to attract a high caliber mate, or unable to keep them.

This is excellent insight, and makes sense, born from an age where philosophers and thinkers had time to deconstruct male psychology, which appears to be ever more pertinent today and hence every man watching this can resonate with. Will be seeking out part 2. You certainly have your calling Erin.
Very interesting video, your channel is a goldmine
Excelent video! I can't help but notice I have the same dresser as the one you have on the left of the screen, truly a great piece of furniture.
Erin, this video was extremely inspiring. You're very thorough and clear. I'm going to read the book you recommended.
1st trait: Aye thats me 😆
2nd trait: Aye thats me too 😅
3rd trait: Hey thats.. also me 🙂
4th trait: Uhh yeah 🙁
5th trait: I NEED HELP 😫😭
This video was very informative and very well explained in detail, the whole idea of these different categories of masculine architypes is new to me and i think you just made it so interesting. Thank you!
This video is really good. I feel like you did an amazing job and described every male that has been and will come. I didn't know this kind of knowledge existed and we have been that analyzed before.
Thank you! This was an awesome video. Looking forward to part two!!
This is great content, I kind of wish I could have a copy of the essay (or whatever it may be called lol) you wrote for this video as it is so informative. Again, great content, thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
Thank you for this, my baseline is the lover archetype and the way you gave clarity to my experience is so relieving. Gives me hope and inspiration that I can develop the other axis of my masculine being the magician and the warrior
@@devinphat9510 I have read a lot of red-pill books and I do plan on making a video talking about the redpill. Are you saying that you no longer feel safe around women? Like, emotionally safe? Do you feel too vulnerable? Has this taken a toll on your ability to form personal relationships? Sorry for all the questions but I like to learn. I think for you, start with the Warrior. That's what
will get you through the dark times. Warrior development for a lover type will turn you into a tank that is no longer vulnerable.
@@erinbyrd5377 Yeah all safety and trust is stripped away, emotionality, financially, and physically sexually which manifests as a phobia of STD's because of the hedonism in our cultures.
There's also a intense desire for sexual interaction, so you can imagine a constant cycle of psychologic dissonance and pain, hopefully it can feed into my warrior and things well be better on the other side.
This is very insightful, and I can see a lot of myself in all these.
The unabashed, deadpan, matter-of-fact shade thrown at the life coaches around 26:16 oh LAWD. I'm glad I stuck around for the whole video
That's very interesting, I'm waiting for part 2. I'll buy the book tomorrow.
Enjoyed this video, great ideas to reflect on.
Thanks for all your work telling it like it is for both genders, and dispelling a lot of myths that abound.
You're an A+ quality lady, for sure.
Thank you for this. Im currently writing a story wherein everyone is extremely immature and this will help me make sure I do it right.😅
All I have to say is thank you, you are the best and all your efforts are appreciated 😄
I cant personally relate to any of these, but its remarkable because for each archetype I can think of a man I look up to that embodies it. Great video
Then what are you
I understood many things about me who i am ? Where I have been . I am a 21 years old male this helped me a lot ❣️ thank you
You are basically talking about DISC. Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness. It's our four types of personality and we can only have 1 of these, but a few features of the other ones. Dominance and Influence are extroverts Steadiness and Conscientiousness are the introvert ones.
Dominance - Red
Influence - Yellow
Steadiness - Green
Conscientiousness - Blue
I am of the Conscientiousness profile, introvert.
Thanks Erin, I enjoyed part one. Well organized and straight-forward. A few questions:
You mentioned the relationship between the manipulator and the naive one.
Cheers,
Adam
This was great
Great video, excited for part 2, I feel I can breathe better, ty🙏
Thank you so much❤
I can’t talk in words how grateful I am
@@evodevo420 you're welcome
Thank you for your work Erin. I look forward to learning more from you. Keep up the excellent content.
Love your work, keep it up!!
Cheers
@@goergeskaplan It's baffling to me too.
I always enjoy your content, I’m constantly learning new things about myself and others that make more sense now. Can’t wait for the next video!
Love your channel Erin.
Thank you for the video
I know i need to mature, and the assistance in these videos helps
I love your videos. So much information
Keep doing what you do, Ms. Boyd. If you haven't, I really think incorporating biblical themes and topics into these videos regarding masculine and feminine aspects of life would benefit your channel, and the people who enjoy your content
Thank you!
This is so cool. Very relevant for parenting.
Enjoyed the video, thanks!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I'm the warrior-type man to a T. Great video very interesting.
Do you want a cookie
@@kiaadams104I want one but my diet..
Damn, I might be doing better then I thought I was. Looking forward to the next video. :)
Absolutely incredible.
Your channel is a hidden gem!
@@johnq4061 You're definitely on the warrior/lover axis. Great job
Another great video! I can't wait for the next one!
Great book. Read it several times! It's a must read for every woman who desires to be in my life!
Great video! I think splitting this into 4 chapters would make it more convenient to watch and youtube algorithm friendly as well. I bet you would’ve literally made x10 more views and spread your observations and ideas better
It is interesting how much attention this book is getting lately. Very nice.
Erin, please read Bhagavd Gita to understand about four archetypes of humans itself upon their karma and intellect.
Erin, you would probably enjoy checking out what Kabbalah says about male and female attributes of the soul and the ideal balancing of them.
Excellent work, looking forward to seeing the next video!
You’re a very talented writer
Good seeing you again Erin. Thanks for the Vids and Blessings to you and your fam.
Sheesh, magician's descriptions and shadows all describe me to a tee

Thank you Erin. Keep making this content. The one you made about archetypes of women was so insightful as it helped me to see women in a different light.
About to go on a long drive and who drops me something to educate me with!
This was fantastic, it really helped me clarify some stuff about where I am in life and where I've been.
@@leo5961 I'm very happy to hear that 😊
Awesome video!
By knowing and embodying these archetypes, men can achieve a fuller understanding of themselves and live in a way that aligns with their true values and purpose.
thank you , it was very informative , looking forward to the next one
Nice! I've always wanted to know more about giga Chad.
25:50 OHHHH SHIT THE CALL OUT LMAO, I know EXACTLY who you’re talking about
Miss, I am a student and I just had to say I love your content. It is so very well thought out and you are an extremely good speaker. Peace and love to you.
Nice vid, unfortunately my original comment was declined by yt censorship matter... Some things sucks on the internet, anyway, it was nice to see this 'rare' content out here on this platform (love your vids, they're very clarifying mostly).
The most underrated video I’ve seen in a long time.
She is back!
Wait for me
I am looking for you
Jewel, angel, friend
I look for you when I get out of bed
I look for you in my coffee
I look for you when I walk in the morning sun
And all through the day
For as long as today is
And until tomorrow comes
But I can’t find you - I can’t find you
I am not smart enough
Strong enough
Fast enough
Or may be I am just not good enough
I am not a magician
I am not a soldier, a strong man or a hero
I am not rich
I am not young or pretty, I am not famous
But I feel you in every snow flakes
I see you in every colours
And in all that is pure and beautiful
And I know I will have found you-
Not in my coffee
Or in the morning sun
I know I will have found you
When in your eyes I can see me
I know I will have found you
When I can wish upon a fairy
To one day die in your arms
And be reborn
To go on looking for you again
Wait for me
I actually learned something new
Now this is good content.
Great video! Huge W learning
Subbed. The second video in a month that I've really enjoyed.
These are great videos
Well prepared and presented-thank you!
Jesus is the slave/servant king the highest archetype
Imagine a king that has everything and essentially willingly goes into slavery to see if there’s any other leader worthy of serving and finding no one worthy. Strongest narrative ever
