wait so the entire military base all equiped with like assault rifles couldnt hold zombies off, but a ragtag group with one guy with decent weapons, the others with just pistols and a makeshift wall can hold them off
Yeah a mistake could have been made. You only need ONE person to forget something in a big facility. Btw there WERE survivors, they probably escaped through the choppers, found another base and then scanned the area, looking at their own men and found this group.

@@joelbrich2538 it uses Adobe Flash Player which is discontinued & disabled, so they're currently using an emulator to run it, but so far only the first game is being emulated, The Last Stand 2 & Union City haven't been emulated yet so i'm just waiting.
@Robert Jankowski i got to day 20 without losing the wall countless times, it's all about survivor management first & weapon searching second.

The Last Stand series is literally a massive part of my childhood. Well, pre-teens. Union City was super fun too. This was a very nostalgic experience for me.
I loved the Last stand union city it was like a 7 days to Die but free didnt beat it tho

Honestly, my favorite entry in the series was Union City for some reason. I just really liked exploring, finding new weapons, leveling up, doing quests, ect.
+Shiverskill It felt the more "full" of the series but the story wasnt as good to me. I remember playing it but I do recall more from the first 2.

Deez Nuts In a way it is but think about it, it couldn't be like Union City because the way it's dimensions work. It isn't a platforming game. Unless they went 3D or went unrealistic, a multiplayer Union City isn't really possible on 2D without making it more sort of unrealistic. Also, that username is a big disappointment.

Weirdly I had better luck with this game when I spent all of my resources looking for survivors for the first few days, and after that spending all of my resources looking for weapons. Works 9/10 times.
I played this game couple years ago from watching Ross's game dungeon. But I thought what would Mark do, so I looked at his play through instead. Yes, getting more survivors makes the game easier. Because you can repair more percentage with 1 hour. Plus, you get back up support from survivors too. Once you got the hunting rifle, it's pretty much game over if you are skillful with it. It usually one hit kill the zombie. IMO, ak47 and ar15 are thr worst one, it's like slightly better than ump or uzi, but not accurate enough that you would unload the whole clip just to kill 2 maybe 3 zombies.
Mark: go play this right now me: aww hell ya sounds fun. Mark: you wont even beleive its a flash game. Me: ahh well thats not gonna happen

The player character in this game is really talented with a rifle; it's not easy to aim long-barreled rifles at enemies that are close enough to talk to you.

+Ginger .-. I feel like Undertale doesn't need any more attention or else it'll get annoying like FNAF. Don't get me wrong, I love Undertale! I even have it on my PC. I mean, look at the first FNAF game, it was pretty great! It was scary, mysterious and just hit every place right. But the people just begged and BEGGED for sequels. And naturally, that's what Scott did. But he released them too often and then the fanbase killed what it loved by putting a bad name for FNAF out in some people's eyes. And could you blame them? If you see a game that has a fanbase like FNAF's, would you really be interested? Undertale has the same fanbase problem, it's just slightly less severe. And to be honest, I don't want the internet to kill Undertale too.

It’s understandable how a guy with infinite ammo, the ability to reload a .50 cal rifle in half a second and walk around with it like it weighs nothing could outclass the military in defending against zombies.

I actually have never conquered The Last Stand 2 because I was playing it on kongregate (basically the same as armor games', but with additional, better weapons) for a hard achievement..... All these years. Mark, you brought me nostalgia. I thank you for that.

I find shooting at the legs when they are a group better than shooting the heads. They get in each others way easily for head shots, but the legs are all vulnerable.
I know this is a minor detail but a 50 cal would go straight through the body armor on those zombies modern 50 cals can penetrate around 40 millimeters of rolled homogeneous steel
I think realism wasnt the objective of this game.

Rewatching this and just noticed that the load out menu is a receipt with a grocery list written on it, which is a really cool (and kinda sad) detail because it shows that’s probably what guy was doing when everything went wrong.
