Honestly, for me cartoon movies in general are usually either absolute gems or abysmally forgettable
Yeah I wish more can memorable but all we care about regular shows movies was rigby ruining mordecais chance an actual good life

As someone who isn't really familiar with how people reviewed the PPG movie, I'm genuinely shocked to hear that so many people seem to hate it. I do remember it was painfully slow paced and took itself way too seriously at times, but I've always thought there were a lot of people who loved the movie (outside of it being a box office bomb).
I love it. Some of the criticisms were dumb like the plot being simple.

My favorites: Ed,Edd,and Eddy's big picture show, Regular show the movie, Steven Universe movie, WBB movie, KND operation zero, Billy and Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure
I actually forgot that the regular show movie was a thing while also remembering the plot beat that Rigby made a fake letter of rejection so that he could still hang out with Mordecai. I think its because of how that plot beat is so important with their friendship that i thought it was a regular episode with that one time Mordechai actually pushes Rigby to his death as the ending.
I always knew since 2005 that we would get a ed edd n eddy movie because it was teased in the cartoon logo video opening

I wish more people would talk about firebreather tbh, idk why but i remember loving that movie and i dont know like anyone who even knows it even existed

I wish In an alternative Timeline Cartoon network Release their movies to cinema like Nickelodeon did but they were afraid because of their 1st try like Cold feet or how they didn't get what Netflix deal with Nickelodeon they release rocko and invader zim 45 special like movies to their Platform like also imagine cartoon network kids next door series or special or Teen titans the original as a special or movie ❤

There are quite a few more Ben 10 movies. Secret of the the Omnitrix was meant to be a finale until Man of Action was ordered to make Season 4. Destroy All Aliens is fun but its purpose is one big question mark. Does Heroes United count as a Ben 10 movie? And I'm assuming you don't want to watch any of the Reboot's stuff with a 10-foot pole.

The teen titans movie
I gotta say, I appreciate the number of movies that Cartoon Network has greenlit.
Even though some of them were subpar, it’s nice to know they were given a chance.
I love how adventure time never made movies, but instead made different side-stories or mini-arcs like Stakes.
I loved Stakes but man seems like once Steven Universe had the Stevenbombs seems like AT also got on the “hype train”, the wait for new episodes was unbearable at times. No wonder I missed the last couple of seasons and the finale
@TheDigitalApple I wouldn't call that a hype train. The steven bombs and adventure time hiatuses only existed because teen titans go was slowly replacing everything and sucking up air.
After awhile, CN just didn't care about their other properties
Wasn't the whole Maya plot originally a lead up to a potential movie but when that didn't pan up, they awkwardly ended it in the beginning of a episode?
It was a new approach that Cartoon Network wanted to try in cases of serialized storytelling (shorter bursts of episodes) because of the success of Over The Garden Wall, and their general strategy of becoming more and more episodic.

Surprisingly enough it had a few attempts
One time was a theatrical movie produced by the LEGO Movie producers but it was scrapped as I believe CN thought Adventure Time had gone too deep into its lore to make a movie understandable enough to a general audience
Another time was when a TV movie was supposed to bridge the gap inbetween Season 5 which was intended to split the season in two seasons but that was also scrapped for...some reason? And that's why season 5 is 52 episodes instead of the intended 26 as it's the original two seasons put together

The Powerpuff Girls movie, KND: Operation Zero, and Ed, Edd, & Eddy's Big Picture Show are peak CN movies to me. Love how they expand on the lore/characters while being great stories within themselves.
I dont know if it counts but the Ben 10/Generator Rex crossover was peak
I didn't even know generator x as a kid but the movie still kicked ass
It's technically two episodes of Gen Rex, but prbly the best thing to come out of CN in 2011.

I was a Ben 10 kid and SOTO was my favorite, but I rewatched Kids Next Door Operation Zero and it’s so good and underrated, I absolutely loved it

Operation Zero slapped so hard. Kinda disappointed that Grandpa didn't comeback into the actual show, but it does make sense considering he was OP as hell. Still a reference would have been nice.

Ed, Edd n' Eddy Big Picture Show is easily my favorite Cartoon Network movie.
Even though the PPG movie didn’t make a lot of money. I really liked it. It was a very cute origin story. And I’m glad somebody else pointed it out. The tag scene while being extremely cool. Took up so much valuable time. The movie is a solid 8/10 and I recommend it. But that tag scene was a giant waste of fucking time.
Yeah same here even if it has its flaws.I still feel like it pretty underrated.I am glad someone actually talking about the strengths of the film itself instead of how bad it is or how it was the"Death of the ppg."

One thing I dislike about the WBB movie is that it retconned the origins of the Bears' stacking abilities. In the TV show Baby Bears Can't Jump it's revealed that they were able to stack while playing a basketball game, but in the movie it's also revealed they were able to stack within moments of meeting each other after escaping from a train. I get wanting to show them being able to stack at a more memorable moment in their lives for significance in their friendship, but why have an episode bringing up the origins in the first place??
Oh God remembering the Ben 10 live action movies is the most painful thing imaginable, the worst part about these movies is that there somewhat canon to the series.😩🐱

I’m still hoping that the amazing world of gumball gets added to the cn movies list someday. It deserves to have a proper conclusion.
I always felt like the PPG episode "See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey" would've made a far stronger plot for the movie than an origin story. That episode had a unique premise, but was really rushed due to the 22 minute timeframe.
Ed Edd n eddy’s big picture show is peak television that is a shining example of how to properly end a series that had more than one ending (glaring at you Steven Universe)

We can all agree that Ben 10 Secret of the Omnitrix is the best cartoon movie ever made
But what about Firebreather? That one-off CGI movie based on the Image comic of the same name that aired on Cartoon Network in 2010 and barely ever again despite getting a Blu-ray release.

This is probably my favorite of the recent vids you've done, Cartoonshi ^v^ also, I feel like even the best CN movies like Big Picture Show, the Foster's movies or Operation ZERO struggle with pacing (especially in their 2nd acts) and overambition, even when the ambition ends up paying off. You'll get cases where the overall film leans on the side of mid and can get fairly boring, but they'll still have incredible moments and scenes that stick with you and work well in a vacuum.
Often when I hear people talk about these movies, the emphasis is always put on the climaxes - usually the best parts of these films, where you're able to briefly forgive and forget about the problematic pacing because some of these films truly do have some incredibly awesome and heartfelt moments in their endings
My favorite moment was Toonshi said " its critiquing time" and critiqued all the movies.
KND: Zero, Ben 10 Secret of the Omnitrix, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Good Wilt Hunting, Ed Edd n Eddy Big Picture, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy Big Boogey Adventure and Wrath of the Spider Queen, Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo, Camp Lazlo Where's Lazlo. All of these animated movies are timeless and there is no reason why CN can't just re run them from time to time. I loved watching them as a kid

I feel the same about the live action Ben 10 movies. I will say there’s something a little charming about Race Against Time but Alien Swarm was incredibly bland. I hope if you do more you cover Secret of the Omnitrix I’d go as far to say it’s the best Ben 10 special ever made

We bare bears the movie was good in my opinion 🤷♀️ It’s and okay enough conclusion to the original tho I feel this really wasn’t meant to be the conclusion in the first place 😅 As if you watched the original show it definitely felt like we were building up to the bears actually first meeting up with each other and then we had ice bears side plot that now remains unresolved and probably more that I’m forgetting about!
I like We Bare Bears but I'll never stop getting angry about the fact the Polar arc was never finished.

The Big Picture Show is my favorite CN movie. As someone who didn't see much of EEnE beforehand, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie's story and comedy!

The 'We Bare Bears' movie is A solid case for why the writers who are striking don't deserve that many writers in the room. (14 writers is WAY too many writers) Also, 'The Powerpuff Girls Movie' feels more like an actual movie than the other movies on the list. Flaws, and all.
Ummm...... Disney and Pixar movies have way more writers and go through way more revisions.

Ben 10 Race Against Time & Alien Swarm may not be great but they are still better live action adaptation of a beloved TV show than Kim Possible 2019.

I will never forget watching both the beginning and end of the Steven Universe movie when it premiered while I was on vacation. Can’t believe it’s been 4 years already… I still really love the soundtrack. Especially Other Friends, Here We are in the Future, Drift Away, Independent Together, and Who We Are.

WHY ARE BENTEN MOVIES SO GOOD the two movies ill be talking about are absolute cinematic masterpieces GENRATOR X and BEN TEN crossover this movie made me care for a character id never seen generator x himself i did not know as a kid but this movie made me care about him in like 3 minutes in the opening and that cgi movie where he goes in his watch that is one of my favourite and most impressive movies ive ever seen the animations amazing and the actions some of the best ive ever seen like HOLY SH#T the actions so good and that final fight between waybig and .....evil waybig is just fantastic like the storys semi stupid but nah this is such an accomplishment

It’s surprising that out of all these CN movies, they’ve only done 2 theatrical releases while all the rest are tv ones. Those being the Powerpuff girls and Teen Titans Go. They should really try theatrical releases more. But granted, lot of them still work as tv movies
Popular cartoon series getting their own movies made it interesting for me as a general viewer, so when I'm not giving out brutally honest criticism to my favorite shows, I simply sat down and enjoy the movies, while at thesame time, not letting my baby brain get the best of me and completely forgetting the major errors of the movie because of a single action scene, cartoon movies for me are really a hit or miss, the Teen Titans Go movie surprised me with how good it is, while the Steven Universe movie left me in a braindead state before I managed to collect myself...edit: Steven Universe Movie is a somewhat mid-good movie..

When you think about it, during The Powerpuff Girls: Movie screening CN execs afraid that the film wouldn't appeal to boy audiences and when after the screening the boy audiences liked it. It's sad the film bombed even the film has a good origin story setup albeit with its flaws. And as for Steven: Universe: The Movie there was a broadway presentation of the film but ended up cancelled due to pandemic

As a kid who didn’t really care for Powerpuff Girls, cause it just kinda bored me and didn’t make me laugh, I thought the movie was fucking amazing. It had me engaged from start to finish unlike the show.

I consider the MHA movies to occur between the 1st and 2nd, 2nd and 3rd, and 3rd and 4th seasons respectively. But there's prbly at least a dozen places they could fit in the first 5 seasons alone. That's how little effect they have on continuity.

The Ben 10 live action movies to me are the one of a kind movies I quite literally cannot dislike no matter how much time passes, yeah I understand it's fully nostalgia speaking bc Ben 10 is actually my second favorite CN show ever and hey, Secrets of the Omnitrix is an actually great movie that closes off the series so there's your good Ben 10 movie so I don't even need to defend the LA ones, but idk the live action movies just have this energy to them that translates the kind of stories the cartoons would make very well, compare the Ben 10 show to idk the Live action Last airbender movie and you see how one is a movie that has much more energy and is having fun with it's plot, and you compare to the other which has no energy and feels unrecognizable from the original property despite being a literal adaptation, it really isn't a movie that's gonna work for ya if you didn't grew up watching it millions of times as a kid like I have but I just hold it to this level o value personally

I actually saw a couple episodes of reboot Ben 10, and I saw it show some surprisingly good ideas as it went, like a vilgax based transformation and a humanizing moment-turned-sour for Animo, it's just marred a bit by weak villain-of-the-week scenerios
