Great videos btw, found you did to your Mordecai video. Rigby and Mordecai are both terrible friends but they're perfect for each other. People like to undermine both sides when they're both just as bad. People mainly judge Mordecai because of his girl troubles and him overthinking when that's kinda of similar to almost anyone. Then they proceed to praise Rigby for what?!?!
Benson is an absolute G, unlike most bosses that just make money off their employees and give them back a fraction of it, benson has absolutely lost a huge amount of money keeping these idiots employed, and I can only assume it's because he'd hate for them to be homeless.
Honestly Rigby is lazy and irresponsible. Mordecai could have done such a good work if it wasn't for Rigby. Alot of trouble happens because of Rigby like when Mordecai said not to play Destroyer of Worlds Rigby ignored Mordecai. Rigby didn't get into College and graduate high school so he ruined Mordecai's chance into having a good future. So they both got expelled for blowing up the lab. Rigby is still a great character. Sure he isn't perfect as a friend but there were times he wss a good friend. Rigby got a great character arc.
This is why I was so happy to see Rigby's evolution into a mature and wonderful guy. Mordecai on the other hand... Phew, that didn't end well... But in all honesty, Mordecai and Rigby were best employees for the park.

Nah fr tho. Didn't even notice the sub count til this comment and was surprised. Bro is most definitely gonna blow up soon with a bit of time and constancy
So I know a lot of people want to praise Rigby for becoming a better person. That is an admirable Rigby is the worst character in a regular show as a friend. Okay hear me out. Rigby never listens. Also he doesn't care about anybody but himself. He's also the reason why Mordecai is the way he is. If anyone has ever seen the Regular Show movie. They talked about how Mordecai when he was younger was confident and very sure of himself. He always went in it with a level head and always believed in himself. No matter what he even talked to girls perfectly fine. He changed right after that rejection letter. He stopped being sure of himself, he became insecure. That rejection letter to a school where everyone gets accepted affected him. Like this man had to tell his mom and dad that he couldn't get into college. His other friends that were going to college, his life got destroyed. Rigby was going to take this to his deathbed. Rigby never tries to make himself better unless someone forces him too. Even after going to college it only happened because of the reunion. He didn't take it seriously at all which he should have done especially those events after the movie. The show forgave him too easily. He didn't have to become his future self but they should have rebuilt their friendship in the show. They should have had Mordecai go to college right after the events of the movie. They couldn't even have Rigby go to the college tell him what he did and begged for his friend to be in that college. Just to make up to him.
Mordecai's only unbearable around women. Pre character development Rigby is unbearable in general and constantly puts Mordecai in life or death situations
Rigby was always worse than Mordecai in the beginning. But everyone worshipped Mordecai as the good friend. When you start seeing someone’s flaws while they’re on a high pedestal, the ranting on them is always a lotttt worse
I honestly believed that Regular Show has no Time consistency due to usually showing all kinds of things from the 80's to modern day. Though yeah, Rigby honestly has had some pretty crummy moments of running his mouth to either messing something up due to how impatient or immature he'd act. But I'd give credit for him to getting his life together to show his dad he's worth something and wanting to impress Eileen that he's matured by finishing up High School. Also best character in Regular Show is Muscleman.
dude i love these regular show videos youre doing you have to do one about all the main characters not necessarily about them being awful like mordecai and rigby but just them as characters
I know a lot of people give Mordecai a lot of shit for when he murder his best friend in the Father Time episode and some of the shit he has done was out of pocket. But I’m sorry if your best friend forge your college acceptance letter and didn’t want to see you move up in life and be the best you can, that is your biggest opp. Like yeah killing a best friend over a girl is some down bad shit to where I don’t think I can be friends with you anymore, but taking my future away because you can’t see me grow and become the best of myself is just as bad. You never know if mordecai could ha help rigby later on in life or hell he wouldn’t have had the whole magret crush thing.
Regular Show can't be taking place in the 80's because there is internet. There was no internet in the 80's. Benson says at 0:56 that he ordered the hot dogs online. And I'm pretty sure there were other episodes where they were also using the internet and some other more modern technologies. I think their world just has an 80's vibe and culture, but it's not the actual 80's.
I work with elementary kids and coach highschool. There are a crazy high amount of kids that remind me of Rigby at both elementary and highschool. Incapable of listening.
Regular Show takes place in the early 2000s. I did a lot of math on it that I forgot when I originally watched it all a few years ago. I remember coming to the understand that there's no exact time frame the show takes place in due to exact contradictions I forgot. One of the things I remember being crucial was how in the finale when they time travel to the first episode, Mordecai said he didn't know what a DVD was, and yet DVDs existed in the later seasons which took place a few years later.
I thought it took place in the 90s due to the fact that from the first to last episode "not including the time skip" about 9 to 10 years had passed and at some point down the line they have touch phones
Ive watched this show front to back 3 times, and truly every time I enjoy rigby's presence twenty times more than Moredcai's. Ffs rigby is a character that can grow and be flawed and funny. Whereas mordecai can use the stupidity he knows rigby has go be a slimy loser. Being innatentive, lazy and dumb to any extent just never matches Mordecai"s creepy frat boy behavior and manipulative excusal of all blame from everything. If comes down to whoch one says more lines I enjoy im the show I don't know how people can endure and defend mordecai the more they watch this show.
3:30 pretty sure regular show takes place in the early 2000's, I say this because if it took place in the 80's-90's like everyone says then how is it possible for the internet to be accessible to the public in the show
while i was completely on board w the mordecai episode, it is SO hard for me to hop in on ur anger here bc rigby is so COMEDICALLLY dumb. like what would even compel him to bash the thermostat to fix it. or fuckin douse the dogs in lighter fluid.. i cant even say he has one braincell he literally has a god damn jelly bean rocking around in there and the slightest grace of empathy to propel him forward
When ppl say maturing is realizing that “ Squidward was the most relatable and realistic character in SpongeBob” that’s how I feel abt what I’ve seen from Benson. A little unrelated but still. Anyway, nice follow up video!
I really hated Rigby in the episode "Do me a solid." He really took the idea of solids way too far and really screwed over Mordechai at the end. He also didn't really do anything to make it up to him or even admit any wrongdoings. Great video also, keep up the great work. You've gained a subscriber
Ok in Rigby’s defense, if he never discovered about the gunpowder, they would’ve been involuntary involvement in criminal activities. And they wouldn’t have stopped Hector’s drug run
I think the main difference between both Mordecai and Rigby, is whose shenanigans are more entertaining. In my opinion, that honor goes to Rigby, he's usually the one that causes the interesting stories, while Mordecai usually causes ones that give second hand embarrassment and creates conflict and harm. I'm not saying either character is good or bad, it's clear that neither are really classified as "good," nor am I saying that Rigby doesn't cause harm or Mordecai causing entertaining stories, I'm merely pointing out that Rigby's antics can be charming (to an extent) and create the humor for the show
Tbh I never really understood why people try to compare the 2 when it’s clearly implied that they BOTH suck, Mordecai kills his best friend(on accident)-Rigby bets all his friends souls for a ball and they ALMOST LOSE Mordecai pushes rigby out of the Car, basically leaving him with no ride to get home so he can give that stupid sweater back to Margret-Rigby locks them both in the freezer almost killing them until finding those hotdogs that almost kill every other friend Mordecai literally states that it kinda sucked seeing rigby improve in life-Rigby absolutely 180’s on him and becomes a complete asshole just to chill with those unicorns Mordecai basically calls rigby a complete waste of space after bro covers for him weekly just to fumble on some girl-Rigby fakes Mordecais rejection letter so it seems like he doesn’t get to go into college Do I really need to go on? They both have honestly done some shitty shit in their lives, yet they play off each other so perfectly that you can’t help but root for them at times. Honestly makes perfect sense why they are good friends
Good video, showcases some of Rigby's worst moments, and as a guy who prefers Rigby over Mordecai, I get why people don't like him. Totally unrelated, that Fredoontv ref tho!
2:15 dude that is relatable as hell. For those of you who dont live under a fucking rock or a tennis racket, food is fucking expensive as is pretty much everywhere. 7:42 you know you messed up when even pops looks mad
At least mordicy in this is trying to be the responsible one.
I just watched the mordecai video (first video ive seen by you) then immediately after this started to auto play and i just exploded with laughter from the thumbnail
being beaten doesnt make you better your decisions make you better
I kinda always wondered how this would have gone if Eileen had that magic, madness and sadness that Betty Grof had. Improve Rigby even better than already, or make him far worse? These are the sorts of thoughts that flow through my mind every now and then.
3:20 i say regualur show is set in the mid to late 2000s cuz everyone got flip phones and flat-screens tv's barley pushed out the last of CRT tv's in big box stores
you forgot that one ep where he was too lazy to clean his and Mordecai's room and when he got everyone killed in that one Terror Tales episode
Terror tales at the park aren't canon their just Halloween specials
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 Even if something isn’t canon, it still usually displays how a character would hypothetically act if placed in such a situation.
@@Steflora Still not canon so basically a mute point.
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 Tell me you didn’t understand what I said without telling me lol. If he’s still portrayed in character in that story, then the writers are telling you that if he were in that situation, that is how he would act. Therefore, it’s reasonable to count whatever he does in that story against him as well.
The show took place in the early late 2000s early 2010s i think. Thry was like early 20s earky seasons and like mid to early late 20s
The show takes place in the year each season came out in. First season is the 2010's
Wall buddy was definitely one of rigbys worst.
Let's not forget, on top of lying to his best friend and forging his college rejection letter, he nearly got Skips killed on his birthday.
Benson is an absolute G, unlike most bosses that just make money off their employees and give them back a fraction of it, benson has absolutely lost a huge amount of money keeping these idiots employed, and I can only assume it's because he'd hate for them to be homeless.
rigby the type of guy that makes you stay in your car and just sigh in relief that you dont have friends like him
Honestly Rigby is lazy and irresponsible.
2:20 bro really wants to scream into that Mic 😂
Not gonna lie if I had a rigby and mordecai I would probably stay very far away from them 😂
The hotdog part killed me 🤣
I need the rest of the cast, or at the very least, videos of your opinions on Skips and Pops. I love the content so far, and you've definitely earned my subscription!
0:10 I see that you’re also an enjoyer of Grimlock
Oh for sure
Gonna have thousands of subscribers in a couple of months to a year.
You know what's worse about these two. They didn't even have the common sense to line up the hotdogs.1:32
The first clip of Rigby is the most eye ridge pinching moment in the show.
Somehow, I thought the Rigby video couldn’t make me more mad than the Mordecai one I was wrong 😂
Hearing "Party Tonight" in the backy without the Benson Dancing brainrot version is so weird. It sounds wrong lol
But somehow he gets his life together while he's a friend's life falls apart
5:00 Its a freezer.. It was already colder than ice.
The thumbnail and title combo had me laughing so hard I had to press play
I honestly don’t take either Rigby or Mordecai’s side. They’re both terrible people one way or another.
The title alone after seeing the Mordecai one made me subscribe
dude i love these regular show videos youre doing you have to do one about all the main characters not necessarily about them being awful like mordecai and rigby but just them as characters
The hotdog episode made me hate him so much bc he just kept making things worse by doing the dumbest options
Rigby is the embodiment of undiagnosed ADHD
Name a more iconic duo than Rigby and dodging accountability. (Except Mordecai undermining his own character development).
You know you've done some awful stuff when even pops is giving you that "Bad show!" stern glare.
The hot dog episode is absolutely hilarious 10/10
I thought it took place in the 90s due to the fact that from the first to last episode "not including the time skip" about 9 to 10 years had passed and at some point down the line they have touch phones
Love the ice cap zone ost ☺️
Second only to hydrocity zone act 2 as my favorite genesis theme
Ive watched this show front to back 3 times, and truly every time I enjoy rigby's presence twenty times more than Moredcai's. Ffs rigby is a character that can grow and be flawed and funny. Whereas mordecai can use the stupidity he knows rigby has go be a slimy loser. Being innatentive, lazy and dumb to any extent just never matches Mordecai"s creepy frat boy behavior and manipulative excusal of all blame from everything. If comes down to whoch one says more lines I enjoy im the show I don't know how people can endure and defend mordecai the more they watch this show.
“Look at that temperature that is well below 30 degrees *INHALE* look at that temperature that is well below the temperature of…..ICE….”
😂😭
Rigby is STILL my favorite of these Two Professional Slackers
3:30 pretty sure regular show takes place in the early 2000's, I say this because if it took place in the 80's-90's like everyone says then how is it possible for the internet to be accessible to the public in the show
while i was completely on board w the mordecai episode, it is SO hard for me to hop in on ur anger here bc rigby is so COMEDICALLLY dumb. like what would even compel him to bash the thermostat to fix it. or fuckin douse the dogs in lighter fluid.. i cant even say he has one braincell he literally has a god damn jelly bean rocking around in there and the slightest grace of empathy to propel him forward
it doesn’t take place in the 80s but the music you hear throughout the show does come from 80s rock and roll
Both characters were the actual worst people ever and I’m really not sure why i liked and still do like the show so much
7:56 eyy happy to see Fredo!
5:41 one of my favorite Regular Show antagonists!
When ppl say maturing is realizing that “ Squidward was the most relatable and realistic character in SpongeBob” that’s how I feel abt what I’ve seen from Benson. A little unrelated but still. Anyway, nice follow up video!
hey, the soul ball is cool! I can’t blame rigby for that
It's kind of Benson's fault for trusting him despite knowing Rigby for years
I really hated Rigby in the episode "Do me a solid." He really took the idea of solids way too far and really screwed over Mordechai at the end. He also didn't really do anything to make it up to him or even admit any wrongdoings.
Great video also, keep up the great work. You've gained a subscriber
"look at that thermometer. That is below freezing"
Holy shit the freezer is freezing
Good thing bro got some great character development
Rigby sold their souls for Doom megasphere.
This video is nice. I really like video analysis like this
Rigby was always my favorite as a kid and even I knew not to see him as a role model XD
I'm not saying either character is good or bad, it's clear that neither are really classified as "good," nor am I saying that Rigby doesn't cause harm or Mordecai causing entertaining stories, I'm merely pointing out that Rigby's antics can be charming (to an extent) and create the humor for the show
I had forgotten how irritating Rigby's dumbasshollery was until this video
“That is below the temperature of ice.” XD
Tbh I never really understood why people try to compare the 2 when it’s clearly implied that they BOTH suck,
Mordecai kills his best friend(on accident)-Rigby bets all his friends souls for a ball and they ALMOST LOSE
Mordecai pushes rigby out of the Car, basically leaving him with no ride to get home so he can give that stupid sweater back to Margret-Rigby locks them both in the freezer almost killing them until finding those hotdogs that almost kill every other friend
Mordecai literally states that it kinda sucked seeing rigby improve in life-Rigby absolutely 180’s on him and becomes a complete asshole just to chill with those unicorns
Mordecai basically calls rigby a complete waste of space after bro covers for him weekly just to fumble on some girl-Rigby fakes Mordecais rejection letter so it seems like he doesn’t get to go into college
Do I really need to go on? They both have honestly done some shitty shit in their lives, yet they play off each other so perfectly that you can’t help but root for them at times. Honestly makes perfect sense why they are good friends
The cartel episode looks like a marcus reference! 😂😂
Good video, showcases some of Rigby's worst moments, and as a guy who prefers Rigby over Mordecai, I get why people don't like him.
Totally unrelated, that Fredoontv ref tho!
The entire point of Rigby's character was to showcase that he was a manchild.
For how horrible Mordecai and Rigby are, they at least get called out. They aren’t treated like Gary Stues or uwu babies.
Bro skips facial expressions starting at 1:06 says it all 😂
2:15 dude that is relatable as hell. For those of you who dont live under a fucking rock or a tennis racket, food is fucking expensive as is pretty much everywhere. Not only did rigby ruin the fuckin food... but he ruined *nice* food. Food you dont get to eat every day. Stuff you enjoy with friends. Like wings. Great in moderation... rigby basically ruined guys night out if you think about it.
4:15
This line holds so much more weight to it after watching the regular show movie.
