I have been playing poker for 20 years as a hobby and side hustle… I wanted to be a good player and joined your site as a premium member and have learned a lot…going to the Wynn series coming up and see if ( am a better player after studying a lot…
Just saying hi Jonathan! Many big thank yous for all you’ve shown and taught to me over the last 2 years I’ve watched these videos . I’m not winning every tournament however my game has definitely improved with your team’s advice. I took you up on the peak GTO you just released and wishing you great trip to the Bahamas . Nothing left to do but smile smile smile . Thank you 🙏
Hi Jonathan, I signed up for Peak GTO but it seems for MTTs it's only 8 handed scenarios. Do you have any plans to implement also for 6 handed tables as this is what I mostly play online?
I profited 60k~ this year from a mix of Poker tournaments and cash (primarily tournaments) and want to transition into poker full time. I currently make 200k/year in my job, but im willing to cut down to 150k/year if i am playing poker. What would you recommend? This is my first year of playing poker.
While he answers u, ur probably not gonna make 150k/yr playing poker nowadays. Most players nowadays are better than they were 15 yrs ago because of so much educational material available. U'll want to play mainly cash games. Poker is an evenings and weekends game, so its hard to get 40hrs/week in. Too many tight OMC's play in the early afternoons. Ur best move is to take a month off from work and just play poker, to see how much u can play, to see how u do and how u like it. Let ur proven results guide u. Otherwise, keeping a day job and keeping poker as a part-time gig evenings and weekends works better for most people both financially and with mental balance/stress. Say, at the end of 2025 after playing poker evenings and weekends, u made about 150k. Then, u can rely on those proven results and quit ur day job with confidence.
@@charlietipton2422 It definitely incentives you to play a much wider range. And the hands aren't necessarily dealt as fast as a raked game because the house amount is set, no matter what. Hence why so many PLO bomb pots per dealer change.

If you are making 250k a year. Don't quit your day job for poker.
What do you think about 10% up to $20 rake?
1/3 2/5
I play 20/40 limit Omaha . Same rake. Just crazy seeing $100 chips going into drop every 10 mins.
I know some places have high rake, but where is a casino with a 10% up to $20 drop at?
Ontario Canada.
Even in 1/3 games 10% up to $20. Plus the bad beat lol
@@drewstrongitharm9680 That's just nuts... there is zero chance you can ever beat the rake... why do people even play?
In crown casino melb Aus 10% Cap $25 @ 2/5.
Cap $30 @5/10
@@drewstrongitharm9680in Edmonton and Montreal 10% cap $7 ($2 to bbj) Toronto is trash $25 cap
Why so many 2/5 regs complain about not being able to beatt 1/3? Blows my mind when they say that
Rake
In Texas we don't have rake, we pay per hour for a seat. So it's definitely harder to make money at lower stakes from that standpoint.

@ace A lot of 2/5 regs can not beat 1/3 because it's a smaller game, so they splash around too much.
I don’t understand. Seems to me, logic, I don’t care how so called good you are, if you don’t get the good cards, forget it.
