      I've done this to someone who had a set of 9s at the casino and then I jammed all in and he folded the set of 9s because he thought I had a set of kings. I had a bluff. Ace high. Was insane wordplay.

    I think Negreanu and Helmuth are some of the absolute top players to ever play the game. The difference in them is that 1). Helmuth is easily tilted. 2). Helmuth is just unlucky. You can't count the number of times he makes the RIGHT call on the flop... on the turn... and gets a bad beat on the river. It happens FAR too often to be coincidence. He's just unlucky. 3). Negreanu is neither lucky nor unlucky. He just makes great calls and the percentages, most often, fall in his favor. 4). Negreanu is very charismatic. This is the most deceptive part of Negreanu. He uses this ability to read you by being charming and talking up the table. It's effortless and disarms almost every single player in the game. 5). Helmuth has better instincts. When he listens to them, he lays down lost hands almost every single time. He has GREAT instincts in the game.

    • @omfggimmechannel
      @omfggimmechannel День тому

      you take the best five cards you can make. In this case, daniel's 3's were "counterfeited" What happened is the two pairs on the board are stronger than daniel's 3s. So Foxen would've won because you take the two pair on the board.. and the next highest card, which she had.
      Trip pairs don't exist in poker, it's two pair + high card.

    This is why he's Daniel Negreanu, and I'm someone you've never heard of, and never will.

    NO ONE is better at reading hands than Daniel. I feel the movie Rounders was Matt Damon acting out Daniel's life at the poker table.
