- India has strongly objected to the recent remarks made by the United States regarding its "internal affairs". New Delhi summoned the acting U.S. deputy chief of mission in New Delhi after a State Department spokesperson said they were closely following reports of Arvind Kejriwal's arrest in India. India's foreign ministry spokesperson has reminded the U.S. that external comments on India's domestic matters are completely unacceptable.
