Hey there good morning I just started watching your videos and I was wondering what’s the best app to start doing business with ? Please and thank you for your help.
I used to do express deliveries in my Ford Transit. I do only north Carolina and South Carolina deliveries in a straight truck. Easier for me, I like to go home everyday.
Each to their own. I don't do this for work, but I'd love to get away and stay in other states from time to time. I don't have a family (wife, kids) tho so for me it comes as a blessing.
Thanks! Majority of my runs are direct with brokers and shippers, but I am also signed with a few logistics companies. Try indeed or ziprecruiter to find these companies in your areas! 👍🏼
That’s ok pay. Alot goes back into the vehicle. I make a grand in a day installing simple carpet and I’m home by 5-6pm, with no helper. To each their own
That’s great 👍🏼 I used to do flooring too, hardwood/laminate/planks but it’s too much on the body. What state you out of? And do you work for a shop or find the jobs yourself?
@@DaniilVataman I’m in Michigan. I do commercial , sub through another company. Down side is it’s busy in summer and slow during winter. College turns pay really well. All you need is probably what you already have as a carrier. General liability and commercial auto
That’s okay pay, but you’re tearing up your body. I make $10 grand per day pushing buttons on a keyboard day trading. I work from home. To each their own. Keep up the good work, the world needs the little people.
Also I heard one owner of load booking co who he also drives at times say if your not willing to live on the road for two to three weeks you won't make any money at all and you have to be able to get min sleep and to be able to keep driving and functioning but I saw you make over 6k in four days and you took a whole day off while your truck was getting serviced but again there was no talking it was like this so it's hard to know details about your daily and how you do things
Love your videos. I'm in TX too, and my first van is a Chevy City Express. 1099 work for a local logistics company. Could I connect with you to learn how to scale toward a larger van please?
@DaniilVataman I know this might be asking too much, but I am really working hard to support my wife and son - would you be willing to coach me a little?
What's your gas mileage in that van Bro? If I do this load in my diesel dually it would cost me about 600 dollars... 650miles there and 650 miles back home 1300 miles round trip.
Exactly. For me to drive about 12 hours that don’t equal 12 hours to drive after maybe 2-3 fill ups before or at half a tank in my truck when I loaded a zero turn mower at todays gas prices took me about 110 to fill up and then 65 and 58 and that’s just one way with premium gas
Im looking into starting my van business soon. How much is it to start up? I understand I would need an LLC, purchase a van (not sure if I should purchase new or used?) I want know all of the apps I will need for my loads? Also is there anyway I can work 5 to 7 days a work and stay in my home state of Florida?
Make sure you have 3 month of bill money saved up. Only thing about the loadbords if you have to bid on loads ometime you win sometimes you don't. You might get a load going out and have to wait days to get another one. It's not all cracked up to what it seems
You said never go above 3000lb over on sprints. They have the ones sprinter van with 6200 lbs capacity. Are they ok in your opinion if they go close to that 6000 limit? Thinkin about long term and how to properly care that’s why asking
My max capacity is 3,800 lbs - I try and rarely ever go over 3,000 lbs, its bad on your suspension, tires, and other components. The vans weight around 6,000 lbs and you must always be under 9,999 lbs or you’ll be fined heavily and must stop at weigh stations as well as log your hours. Hope that helps
@@DaniilVataman Thanks for your reply. Suppose I purchase a new one with a max payload capacity of 6200 lbs. Do you happen to find jobs that ever ask for that type of payload? Not many channels show average lbs of cargo to consider before purchasing one. Wondering if I go with 6200, will it be bad and I have to stop at weight stations, or it’s suitable for future proof, or should I stay modest with cost and your type of capacity can still earn decent to good money?!
Can you please share who you do business with for your loads your the only one I see making this kind of money what's the difference? Do you have contracts or work with brokers for your loads? Please respond because I ask a lot of questions of you that never get answered it's kinda of pointless to share vids with info but never willing to answer questions all it leaves those of us who trying to get started is down a desperate hole praying we can get there because everyone who shares information and actually talks in their vids are not doing as well as you and if there is someone who is that actually talks and interacts with the subscribers I will be glad to ask them thank you kindly🙏🏾
Nope. 850, if that was the only payment, gets taxed, pays for the gas, the overnight (if there is any), the time, the insurance, and any food. So maybe 200 profit
I love the flooring and the lower attachment so you can keep the load from moving around, I have a Chevy 1 ton van so I don't have the top clearance but I've hauled a lot of stuff for my old business. Yes the brokerage and broker loads or goods would be nice, not sure your fuel consumption but on a gasser that would be way more
Brokers are robbing these people. It’s a tough industry to stay a float. Really have to be on your game if you wana make it. One break down, and weeks of hard work and sweat goes down the drain. Good luck y’all. God bless.
Not for these vans. I drove them from Amazon they can do 29,000 pound no CDL they run standard gas, and tires, just like a car. Just make sure its $2.50 per mile and up.
There are alot of people starting to really get into this game, and people have to realize that once its on, people are ready to make $$$ so a little sounds like a lot when youve invested your $$ and you want to see a return quickly. So I say if you really dont want the rates to go down kindof school your fellow man on what he can get instead of being mad at him for taking a small amount for the bid. Cuz when I come thru Im getting to the bag, i dont care whT u think.
The real question is how do you get paid for more than a dollar a mile? I’m guessing you have to have your own trucking authority that is has been active for some time right? Because nobody wants to work with new authorities and the dispatchers for the company that I am driving under can’t get anything booked over a dollar a mile when i bid . Could you help out?

I usually do these in a single day. But on this I did 8 hours first day and then 2 next day, since receivers opened in the morning, there was no point to drive all the way to receivers till midnight 😄
