True Story. Once I tweeted Killer Mike and asked if he would trade me some OG for tickets to a sold out show in Chicago. He tweeted me back and said "If your there when I pull up your in." He rolled up in an Escalade with fuckin Andre 3K and I gave him a bag of OG Kush and he got me and my two friends into the show. Then when RTJ came out he was smoking a joint of OG and straight passed that shit to Andre. 100% true story. Epic rap tales.

Funny thing about the essence of this beat - El-P submitted it for Blade Runner 2049's trailer but they didn't use it, hence the futuristic/sci-fi vibe. This shit is fucking amazing. I can't wait to hear it again just in time for RTJ4.

The Wanderer As much as I love RTJ I was not impressed with that massively expensive 12" they put out in association with Marvel for this year's Record Store Day.I thought it would have been all 3 of RTJ with a bonus 12".It turned out it was just the bonus 12 with room in the packaging for RTJ 1,2 and 3 that you had to separately buy.I passed on this massive con and spent the money on a ticket to see RTJ live in Manchester U.K.A lot better way to spend the money.

@@xXCryosXx Yeah, but I think what he's saying is that while Venom is a Marvel character, the Venom movie was not made with ANY association to Marvel Studios, who produced Black Panther. Nor are they involved in Deadpool 2, which also used a RTJ track (Nobody Speak, from a DJ Shadow record). DP2 was made by Fox, and Venom was made by Sony. None of those studios coordinated in any way, so it's really more of a coincidence then any sort of concerted effort on the part of Marvel to include their music.

El-P got a chance to toss in a song for running to become the producer of BR: 2049's soundtrack, he only had like a day or two to whip it together and it got rejected but it was pretty fucking dope and sounded a lot like how the soundtrack turned out anyway, thematically at least. For this beat he re-purposed that beat.

Yo this movie has the best soundtrack out of any Marvel movie by far! To be candid, Venom may have the best soundtrack that I've ever heard in a movie. Just in my humble opinion.
