Invincible hitting W’s with the soundtrack.
That's what brought me here. I was like fuck everything, i need to jam with this.
To late to the game you appreciate it now it’s on a tv show... typical
At the same time glad your listening to RTJ
you're right stranger
even the scenes with no words, Bass going hard!
This song hits different when you’re genetically engineering a twin 🔥
A clone would only speak in that tone
That’s how we know that y’all are both clones
@@iceek1778 we all know im the *original*
No I'm the original!
Secretly rick too listened to this when he makes Smith clones
No one:
THE mauler twin: *furiously makes another twin*
Clones go brrr
Burger meat, mutagen, blood sample and a pod equals a new clone
Exactly why I'm here lol lol 😆 😂
“Hello brother, you must be hungry.”
Obviously you're the clone
Im glad that invicible showed me this song
And now you know how it has absolutely nothing to do with the show
you're uncultured.
check their discography tbh , i had a tear of joy when they played this , finally some recognition
Agreed
Invincible introducing people to RTJ is awesome. So many more people can enjoy their music now :D
This is dope as fuck
We need more stop motion
Same guy, Chris Hopewell, did a video recently for Radiohead's "Burn the Witch". I haven't checked out his other stuff yet, but I'm sure as hell about to now.
Vidya Cowboy check ¡MAYDAY!
mayday mortuary mary I think
pranks
Go watch Mercury Rising music video if you love stop motion.
It’s amazing how many people don’t know about RTJ. Spread the good word brothers.
I was one of those people just a very short time ago. In fact I am still exploring RTJ as there is still much I haven't heard yet 😀
This just fits the Mauler twins so well. That invincible for having this music
The amount of people that learned this song from invisible is overwhelming
Invincible?
@@monk0113 its the best show on TV right now
If he's so invincible, how come we can see him?
@@sketchiefello9002 just go watch the show on Amazon prime before you get spoiled on tweeter.
@@sketchiefello9002 invincible...not invisible
I love that the most original shit that is released today is by a couple of 40 year old guys. Show these children how its done. RTJ
Bob Loblaw death grips too. MC ride is like 40 and is releasing some of the most experimental hip hop of the past decade
They have decades more of experience
NoQuarter1995 true dat
Because they’re influenced by the best! Nothin touches 90s Hip Hop .
I'm about to be 36, it's been like 15 years since I've been an "active" musician.
These dudes are helping motivate me to get back into making music again. And f*** $, I just wanna rock out again.
Song had me bopping while watching a man violate his clone from invincible .
I get the feeling that El and Mike really do smoke blunts and go on haunted house rides whenever they get the opportunity
There are interviews from the first album and behind the scenes making of videos that involve A LOT of smoke :) One time the blow out the interviewer and they go on to forget all their questions.
I'm starting to think that Mauler twins are fans of rap music.
They have a dedicated band RTJ as their soundtrack
"You ain't really need that chain, you ain't really need that rang, you ain't really need them thaangs" FIRE!
Right
Good point
Invincible has the best soundtrack I’ve heard in a long time!
I kinda reminds me of a boondocks but with superheroes
@@Thereject I lowkey want a Bushido Brown spinoff now.
LetterKenny has an amazing soundtrack also.
What’s invincible? A movie?
@@evanabt8578 it’s a show on Amazon
The best hip-hop duo since OutKast, absolutely no doubt about it. Their three albums are enough proof.
The last bit was so american. Feeding cash from the lower calsses straight into a war machine to carve up the planet. Jesus this whole video was so symbolic
Yup
If you liked this one watch their Music video for Walking in the Snow.
Love the stop motion animation. Killer Mike slaughtered those first bars.
Slaughter Mike
Bugatti Mike
Ashlan Menghini-Plaza cool
Killer Mike Killing shit, business as usual.
True
bangin' this one out loud while transferring all my memories and consciousness into a fresh clone
Clearly your the clone
It's amazing how easily people agree with a clear, progressive message when somebody raps it at them.
Preach
word
We need an uprising by the skelatariat.
You have nothing to lose but your bones comrades!
Keep fighting, cumrags!
Welcome to 2020
RTJ too underrated
Fred it's because they don't sound like they on mad drugs and we can understand them and their music makes sense lol
Fred not really. They're probably the most popular duo out right now. What other duos can you name that are co-headlining festivals and shit
fuxt edd Rae sremmurd......
why are you comparing them to other duos? if you compare them to all rap acts in general they are severely underrated and far too unknown.
Underrated and unknown are two very separate points. In no way are RTJ underrated but more people need to know about them
A24 film Civil War (2024) final trailer bought me here
you missed the part where the director clones himself~
RTJ speaks the truth and explores current issues that sometimes don't get the attention they deserve. I love the beat, the corrupt message and the music video. Keep it up RTJ, you guys are my rare inspiration with music.
How are these guys not huge right now? I literally just discovered them myself through a you tube vortex!!! Their new album is so amazing!!
Dude you're in for an amazing journey, welcome to the club my friend
Even with skellingtons the message of who they represent is clear. Love it.
The wealthy.
the bourgeoisie
o
but everyone was a skeleton...
Right. And what did one group of skeletons have that the other didn't?
For those that don't know Cabbagetown was a neighborhood surrounding a mill in Atlanta that during the great depression they sent a few thousand poor white Appalachian peoples to live in this neighborhood. It was a white ghetto. In the late 90s early 2000s they turned the abandoned mill into lofts and the surrounding community skyrocketed in property values. Forcing all of those original families to move because they couldn't afford their own poor neighborhood anymore. It's the story of gentrification all over America's inner cities but that one happened to an example of white on white gentrification. It really ain't color my brother. They just want us to think it is so we keep pointing the blame and rage in the wrong direction. At each other instead of up where it belongs. 👊🏿👈🏻👉🏿👊🏼
America, educate thy self.
This slaps harder than Battle Beast
Battle Beast slaps REALLY hard
he spanks brotha...
My dumbass thought it was a song
pathetic child!
but does it slap harder than omniman?
3 years later and this music video basically plays like real life. RTJ are diviners, confirmed
This is one of the most innovative and to the point music video I have ever had the pleasure to witness.
Concur!!!
I mean it's a cool video but is it really that innovative??
Shawn D Not innovative with video, but a rarity of concious songs make it, in a little way, so
You should check out 'the story of OJ' by jayz, the music video just dropped and its amazing like this one
go watch meow of jewels it's even better
Invincible show got me listening to this song again 🔥🤟🏾
"Get a job, get a house, get a coffin" is a great depiction of the "american dream" that I'm trying to avoid.
hehaheadshot97 what are you gonna do differently?
Not get a job and not get a house apparently lol
Dippy Jippy Probably getting cremated too
Eh, who cares what happens to the dead body of a leech on society lol
Start my own business and earn money with trade skills. If you avoid a mortgage by either cheaply building your own house or living in a form of RV, then it allows much more financial freedom. I'm going the RV route since I plan on traveling the U.S. as I'm able to. Instead of paying off a house slaving away in an office being told what to do; there are other options.
This might be my favorite song off this album. I go through phases. Brings warm memories of the surprise Christmas release. Ahhhh the good old days of last year. RTJ is the most important band in America.
I love how they just drop shit randomly
I know right
independent as fuck ;)
its a good strategy!
Only proper way drop shit.
Go with the gut and drop that shit
A24 using a song with this title in the Civil War trailer was absolutely insane
this is what I bought fire proof headohones for.🔥🔥🔥🔫💎
The use of skeletons in this video is brilliant. It represents so many different things for the different classes portrayed in the video.
- For the wealthy who are actively gentrifying the neighborhood it represents their soullessness and lack of emotional attachment to any of the people from the poor communities. It strips away anything human about them and simply shows their blatant motivations to make money.
- For the poorer people it represents what they are destined for: a future filled with sorrow, injustice and eventually death. They are metaphorically buried in their graves before even having a chance at succeeding in life.
- For the police it represents uniformity. They are part of a system, cogs in a machine at the mercy of the rich. Therefore, any individuality they have has been striped away and they are left to be skeletal drones doing the bidding of the powerful.
Blown away by this song and video. RTJ for the win!!
Yes brilliant, big words! beehive
Also represent that without the hats you wouldn't be able to differentiate between the different classes. At the end of the day they're all human. Just wearing different "hats".
it's used to highlight that underneath we're all human.
that's definitely better
True true true
RTJ is proof that if you want good music, you don't have to go digging to hard.
damn stupid comment.
an exception isn't the rule.
You do tho cos commercial radio only feeds us shit on the daily
*Blood sample under microscope, activate cell mitosis, clone creation boiii*
Don’t forget to feed him some burger meat
Good luck with dat cuntz LMFAO
Wtf LMFAO 😜😘💋
That stop-motion animation is amazing, like Ray Harryhausen remixed with hip-hop. Awesome work, crew.
Thank you :-)
how TF is Run the Jewels this amazing at everything they touch?
No war but class war.
truth
@@chriskoprowski1980 Correct.
No war butt ass war.
Hate to say it, but it's not going to be a war. It'll be a slaughter. The rich can afford airtight bomb shelters and submarines with CO2 scrubbers and O2 supply. You can't win against that. There's the rich and there's the DEAD.
@@manictiger i'd like to draw reference to one of the main messages the movie fight club tried to impart on us...it's the lower class that runs the show. The rich hire the poor to build those airtight shelters.
One of few artists that still makes music videos with a concept. I love it.
This is the group. Go see them now. Experience them right now. People are going to be talking about them long after they’re gone, you’re here to witness it.

After watching mauler twin working on building his lab this has officially became my work music
As someone who's been behind bars even though I turned my life around this is a thought that sticks with me "don't get captured."
I love the themes like run the jewels plays whenever we see the twins and its always a different song fitting the scene
Whoever makes these mrfrs beats..... GD..... You're killing the game y'all.
Definitely my favorite artists out right now.
Killer mike is really one of the best of this generation. Maybe not as a musician, but definitely as an MC
Best rap duo since Outkast IMO.. Now if we can just get an RTJ x Outkast Collab!
DEF3TV I feel like it's the only new duo to come out ever since.
that's what i'm saying! The only problem is outkast haven't done a song together in over 10 years
theres definitely been a ton of duos but not as dope as them!
They already did that joint w big boi on RTJ 1
Awreck Rann big Boi alone isn't outkast I'm talking Andre too
RTJs is the only thing helping me get through this
Same, man.
Most underrated Yet one of the most innovative
Favorite song while playing chess. Can’t believe the Queen’s Gambit missed it!
Why does it exactly fit?
@@asturianix9820 When you take an opponents piece it's called capturing
Its about damn time
Message is so strong here.
I'm reminded of an audio quote Linkin Park used in one their albums by Mario Savio-
"There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part! And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it - that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!"
I thought that was fred hampton
How many people noticed that walking in the snow is an extension of this song? Even how the animation for both videos is similar? They even both have similar beats and sampling
The Buck Rogers sample is pure 🔥 👌 😍
Here from invincible!
Dear Minneapolis...don't get captured
not what the vid is about
@@Endominateur I'm pretty sure that the themes are pretty much the exact same
@@ECXLEvan they arent
Endominateur the last verse is El-P rapping from the perspective of a corrupt police officer. Feels pretty relevant to me
@@ECXLEvan y'know theres a whole song and not just a verse ya?
The message of this song is strong and so true today .
YOU ARE THE CLONE !!
I love how this video seems to remind us that we all LITERALLY look the same on the inside, but what separates us is greed and wealth. That’s the real issue we face right now. The rich have, since the dawn of time, abused the lower class. Nothing has changed. But it should
Just seen RTJ at a music festival in Wisconsin. They are on a world tour right now and they are great performers. Go and see them if you get the chance. The closer the better!!!
As someone living in DC again after being born there and moving to Georgia and back, man...This hits home.
Best music videos. Reminds me of the good ole days
RTJ are smart dudes. i love their stuff. this is coming from a metal head. i really like these guys
i can recommend other rap artists you might like even for a metalhead
Discovered RTJ an hour ago. All their songs are next level. My new favorite
This song is not getting old, isn't it.
Bro, the Invincible soundtrack introduced me to so many sick songs.
I like the part when they're tryna cut the globe in half...good metaphor🍻🌎🙌✊
My Cinema and Screen studies teacher showed this to our class and it was pretty great.
Song hits different when your country is divided in 2 and on the brink of a war within itself...💀
No wonder they asked them to do Cyberpunk. Straight rockerboy lyrics.
I've watched this four times in the last twenty-four hours. Each time is better than the last.
Can't wait for the festival to see these legends
I love Run The Jewels.
Who's here after the official Civil War trailer?
Oh sheeeeet,
Yep the reason is why I’m here
I can’t believe I hadn’t heard this song before. I liked a lot of the songs from RTJ3 but this one might be my favorite.
dig the gentrification message
Stavol2Dual not sure I get the whole anti gentrification message. the neighborhood portrayed before the craft whiskey please showed up didn't seem to great. and if your a small business person wanting to start something, a low rent neighborhood probable only place you could afford. maybe I'm missing something
Jared Toon That's a lot you missed. That neighborhood was allowed to go bad, their representatives did nothing and sold their homes cheap. Plus the businesses that existed there is bought for less or forced out for larger businesses that hire from out the area.
+Jared Toon The point isn't to show a solution, or a "good side" before white people showed up. It's to show that any shitty situation can be made EXPONENTIALLY worse. Would you rather get your chain potentially ran for going down a wrong street or captured the fuck up for smoking a blunt? You've gotta be missing a LOT to not understand how the latter in this video wasn't worse than the former.
Latter wasn't worse? What funding wars and the military industrial complex, and the courts having no empathy for those being processed by the system? Were you even WATCHING the same video? I doubt that was RTJ's or the director's aim, to show gentrification in a good light - I mean all the protesters with valid concerns getting bulldozed out of the way, literally boxed in by money and greed. It's rather obvious message...amazed how anyone could get that wrong since it's all in the video.
You and Vinny are so obviously middle/upper class it hurts.
invincible has introduced me to so many great songs
Hip Hop is still alive, thank you!
the best duo since outkast, I know that's a reach but I feel they are the new era in a different kind of way, so fresh and clean, just a new tailor
RTJ are seriously underrated.
Their episode of Austin City Limits is one of the best! That’s how I discovered RTJ. Some of the most unique jams I’ve heard in a long time.
Not only are the lyrics and beats dope as fuck, a lot of their songs are politically motivated which makes me absolutely love them
i wish this was a 10 minute song. I love it so much
Funny thing is I have a twin now we have a reason to cosplay as the mauler twins and have this song blasting in the back while walking on a con floor, (when ever that happens...
