DJ Shadow has unveiled the music video for the song “Nobody Speak” featuring Run The Jewels, a standout track from his album ‘The Mountain Will Fall,’ out now on Mass Appeal Records. The video depicts a meeting of leaders that quickly descends into chaos, a scene not unlike what is unfolding in governments around the globe. It also features appearances by DJ Shadow and Run The Jewels.
Says DJ Shadow: "We wanted to make a positive, life-affirming video that captures politicians at their election-year best. We got this instead.”
Says Run The Jewels’ Killer Mike: "It's such a dope video. It's what I really wish Trump and Hillary would just do and get it over with...And even in that fight I think Hillary would win - and that's not an endorsement."
The video was directed by Sam Pilling and produced by Pulse Films, stars Igor Tsyshkevych and Ian Bailey, and was shot in NYC, London and Ukraine.

Can we take a moment to appreciate two things?
1. That is seriously some great acting by the main two guys in the video. You can FEEL the tension between them. Also in most parts, spot on perfect lipsync! Seriously, nice work!
2. This video itself is very well made. Great colour grading, camera work, etc. For example, at 1:06, that closeup of the red tie guy's face is fantastic. The lighting across the face is perfect, his expression is so full of emotion, the use of depth of field blur to really make his face pop out of the scene is just spot on.
Really, there are movies with box office releases that don't have production quality this high.

I remember reading that almost all the people appearing in this video are from Ukraine. The room it's filmed in is in Ukraine.
I imagine it would look like most other music video shoots, with the repeated single takes of one or the other quietly lip-syncing along as the actual music is played from monitors. They could have easily done the takes of the massive "brawl" with or without the music. Regardless, whoever RTJ (or even Shadow for that matter) collaborate with for their videos, it would amazing to be along for the ride in their whole creative process.

Actually, we (Turkey) as a country can only solve our problems with our fists and swords, since swords have been out dated for a couple of centuries now we use our trusty fists and when we don't we wish we did. Words come second. It's like an ancestral tradition. So the all parliament and business-suit thing is just there to look more civilised.
A lot of historians say that Turkey lost many great things on the table not on the battlefield.
I've always believed that a half of the members of the Victor Yanukoviche's party was there just to beat the crap out of everybody in the parliament. They didn't look like politicians, they looked like bouncers.
