Charlie was taken to court to make him pay child support!! Yet the family were willing to pay $1 million offer to Dan, to let the boys live in Florida? WTF is wrong with this family - is it the challenge they like?? or was it the pure hatred of Dan?

@@Junebug_InTheHizzyIt's still on the table - Charlie still has to survive in prison.
@@NotMaliciouss: The worst of it is even after he dies he still has to serve another 60 years!
charlie and katie should be thankful that the State did not ask for Death Row Sentence.
He thought he was above the law. Turns out he's not. Have fun in prison.
Don't move 😮😮
Charlie looks like he’s already got a hustle going as the prison dentist all dressed up in his blue scrubs 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
He should be able to work as a dentist in prison. Why waste his skills?
@@SolicitorRandolphthat's what I was thinking. This guy's going to be a VIP in prison for 100% of the prisoners. This guy's gonna be like that Shawshank redemption guy but for dentistry.
@tigerlancer Oh really? Did he bring his surgery, drugs etc. with him?
No access to sharp objects. No dental tools.
He must have loved his sister so much so to spend rest of his life in prison.
I think he did something to her when she was young. It’s odd all the way around.
@@SolicitorRandolphwhy do you think that?
They were banging
It’s absolutely astonishing that in no timeframe within this conspiracy, that Donna or Charlie or Wendi never looked at those babies & cared for their pain in growing up without their Dad.
Their biggest issue in their life was their son-in-law/bro in law/husband wanted to be in his own son’s lives. So many have the opposite issue, & here he was murdered for daring to fight for them.
I’ve been watching this case for 10 years and it’s the first that got me interested in true crime & law. Bless the state of FL and our justice system for all their efforts!
The world would be such a better place with Dan Markel and without Charlie Adelson.
Without ALL the Adelsons

Congratulations to the prosecutors and the FBI as they did a remarkable job in this case. Also much respect to Dan’s parents for representing their son so incredibly well.
May Dan rest in peace and all great things to his two sons.
They really thought they’d get away with murder.
Well they thought that the guys that they hired were experts in being able to commit murder without being detected by law enforcement. That was not the case.
Bye,Charlie! Have a ball in prison the rest of your life. Now,Donna…..
That moment when you realize that it would have been cheaper and less punitive to get your sister to see a therapist to help her deal with co parenting and the after effects of being spoiled and entitled.
What a loving, caring and supportive sister he has. Wendy couldn’t even be in the courtroom for her brother’s life sentence.
Dan Markel smiles from Heaven!
His drastic change in appearance in 1 month is astonishing. The person we saw on the stand 1 month earlier looked nothing like this guy. Charlie looks like he aged 10 years in 1 month.
Considering this murderous family sticks together to get rid of someone you would think they would stick by each other when ones goes to court.
The caring neighbor who saw the getaway car ….deserves The Nobel Peace Prize!!!!!
Comment of the case award
And the detective who spent hours and hours hours and hours following the Prius on cameras along the route.
Nothing matters until they get his ex-wife!!!
Daaaang!! Charlie got old quickly!
Ten years very quickly

Stress does make you age. I will remember this when I come upon stressful situations.

His lawyer was terrible.
Fabulous job by the state!
The mother Donna destroyed so many lives.
yes but in this case it's wendi who destroyed so many lives.
Incredible all he jeopardized and lost to kill Dan Markel. Mind boggling.
Justice is served! Momma is next!
I wonder if the seat is still warm from when mom sat in it
I feel we get numb with all the trial movies we get to watch but when a man hears he will never be released from confinement again, reality kicks in big time
So satisfying to see him in his new outfit. Fantastic.
Even giving him credit for time served is a joke because he will never get out 😂🤦🏼♂️
Here is an interesting fact I heard about Charlie boy - he has a son, that he refused to pay maintenance for.... that Donna showed no interest in, and it is amazing that the whole family were so obsessed with Wendy's two boys, when there was another grandson that would have loved to have grandparents to spoil him!!! Charlie was taken to court to make him pay child support!! Yet the family were willing to pay $1 million offer to Dan, to let the boys live in Florida? It doesn't make sense, that they could be willing to part with $1 million so they could see that two grandsons, but wouldn't pay anything to their other grandson?? WTF is wrong with this family - is it the challenge they like?? or was it the pure hatred of Dan?
It's called... Mental Retardation...😵💫
His son Roman is not Jewish as the mother wasn’t Jewish. Conceived with Bree - a nanny. As you may know Donna looked down on “people like that” and referred to Charlie’s girlfriends as “his toys”. Children born as a result of such affairs won’t be seen as legitimate - let alone Jewish. Just my two cents on this one.
@@MoniqueK-K I think you are right on the money.
@@dowaliby1 the mom of the two boys broke jewish tradition regarding their meals something about being kosher so i don't know did that really mean much. it sounds like divorce got vindictive and wendi (allegedly) and donna wanted to take everything away from Dan, that means his boys.
Rest a little easier, Dan. Justice is finally being served-one evil Adelson at a time.
I hope the grandkids are able to get to know their wonderful grandparents, the Markels.
Yes!
What a price to pay for something not even involving him directly.
An innocent father murdered, 2 families destroyed, several people in prison only because one entitled brat hated her ex-husband and didn’t want the children to be loved by him and his family. That is the real devil.
Sister should be in prison too.
I bet he says to himself "I should have thought this through" several times a day - - and will continue to do so for a long time to come. Great family, the Adelsons.
The only bad part of this is it took 10 years to get him. He should have been in prison 10 years ago.
What a psychopath. At the very least, if those are going to be his 10 words, he should've at least said in addition,"...it's terrible whenever someone loses a life, and I feel bad for him, but I didn't have anything to do with it." At least pretend you care, even if you don't. He couldn't even *bother pretending* , which even a respectable psychopath would do.
true
He couldn’t even fake remorse it just isn’t in his vocabulary
"I would just like to say that I maintain my innocence" 11 words sorry I had to
Well it’s 10 different words. Said I twice haha
Okeedokeee. Whatever you say Charlie.
Man, the blinking is really stress induced. He was blinking like crazy during the trial. He calmed down after a month of knowing his fate, walks in to sentencing with normal blinking. Starts blinking like crazy again when the judge addresses him to hand him down his sentence. Starts blinking normally soon after and during his fingerprinting.
I love how they give him 590 days credit for time served on a LIFE sentence. It’s really rubbing it in. LOL
Now bring his sister to justice
It’s actually 11 words: “I would just like to say that I maintain my innocence.”
Don’t forget “I do” & “Stand?” 😁
This is incredibly sad. To not say sorry is pure evil.
I love judges that give detailed statements in their sentences but something about this judge’s matter of fact, no dramatics, no nonsense sentence just was the exclamation point on this case. Charlie went from having it all to soon not being a afterthought when his family is in prison with him.
Thank goodness!
What a tragedy... a dead father, children without their father, a son with a life sentence, his mother headed in the same direction. And much more tragedy for others. And all they had to do was to share custody.
Life plus
60 yrs !!
“Hey Charlie “
“ Was it worth it ? “
That was the most emotionally unsatisfying sentencing ever. Usually the we hear what the judge really thinks of the convicted murderer
When the Judge sentenced him to consecutive sentences, that says everything you need to know.
true.
why? why would a successful dentist , life by the balls, make such a terrible, awful decision. why? it makes absolute no sense at all to think a guy this smart would think he could get away with hiring hitmen to kill someone. what was the upside? it makes no sense
This cold blooded murderer stands up to maintain his innocence, when he should have been saying I deeply regret throwing my life away for vengeance and for having the arrogance to believe I could get away with it.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
3:18 You are sentenced to life imprisonment, without the possibility of release or parole.
Good work Georgia!
What a GREAT Judge!!!!!!!!
I want to puke every time a defendant in this case expressed love/concern for their children. If you truly loved your kids, you would not engage in behavior that would take you out of their life forever.
Love that Judge! He knows how to do his job and did it well.
