Because she’s a lawyer, so she knows it’s a major trap of a question. If she says she’s angry, she is advocating for her own demise and that of her family members; if she’s says she’s not, she comes off as callous and unbothered by not knowing the details of the murder of her children’ father. As a witness being interrogated under the given circumstances, her evasion of a direct answer to that question was probably her best move, albeit, amongst a limited set of possible responses, none of which could make her look good, which is precisely why the prosecutor asked the question in the first place.

The fact that she does not modulate her voice very much but leaves any emphasis for just the right time to nail Wendy Adelson is a textbook lesson in how to show lies, inconsistencies and obfuscation of facts and how to reveal that the witness is untruthful.

Yeah- but what is the prosecutor really proving about anything that would actually connect her to a conspiracy? This is a huge waste of time about nothing. And remember- this is the trial of her brother- not her. This all just goes to a motive of why she might not like her husband or his family. That does absolutely nothing. I've seen cases where the state couldn't charge bc of time limits for certain crimes, but the feds were able to do it bc there was interstate travel involved which had allowed federal charges to be applied. As this case proceeds and when perhaps more are brought in. The focus shifts more on the crime, the scandal , and those gotcha moments. And the victims dead and alive are really the ones that need be discussed in front of a huge audience like this. You say they are almost men, so that means the trauma of them losing their dad, moving suddenly, leaving their friends and teachers, funerals, saying good bye, not being able to see or speak to certain people, and hearing things , (cuz that's what teens do) living among family members that are in panic , stress, shunned by Synagog, the Public because your with your Mom or Grand Mom, and you hear arguing over spending time with your other Grand Mom. Because she’s a lawyer, so she knows it’s a major trap of a question. If she says she’s angry, she is advocating for her own demise and that of her family members; if she’s says she’s not, she comes off as callous and unbothered by not knowing the details of the murder of her children’ father. As a witness being interrogated under the given circumstances, her evasion of a direct answer to that question was probably her best move, albeit, amongst a limited set of possible responses, none of which could make her look good, which is precisely why the prosecutor asked the question in the first place.

As this case proceeds and when perhaps more are brought in. The focus shifts more on the crime, the scandal , and those gotcha moments. And the victims dead and alive are really the ones that need be discussed in front of a huge audience like this. You say they are almost men, so that means the trauma of them losing their dad, moving suddenly, leaving their friends and teachers, funerals, saying good bye, not being able to see or speak to certain people, and hearing things , (cuz that's what teens do) living among family members that are in panic , stress, shunned by Synagog, the Public because your with your Mom or Grand Mom, and you hear arguing over spending time with your other Grand Mom. All of this in the most nurturing stages of your life. One day a long time ago. Everything just changed. You love your Dad, but you love your Mom too. Even if they did it. She's all I have and she loves me. That small time way back when with Dan will be remembered and then they will hear more about him and then ask more, because you can't change biology. Dan's faith was so strong and devout that it was one of the 100k reasons he was assassinated. And that will be reason that these boys (young men) will live live a quality life with love, understanding and compassion. They are the Markel Boys. And they will be proud of that. No one can take it away anymore, no money, no hatred. They will make right decisions. They are the ones to watch and support in our prayers. They weren't able to decide anything, it was all decided for them .
So until they able to decide on their own and not be pressed by this side or that side. I feel the mark Dan left had a huge influence.. Wishing health & happiness to all.
