    Every advice you give i have found to be spot on and confirmation. I like to use rosehip or amla fruit powder. However, as you state, i have to be very careful when and how to take it, as i react strongly and later crash, just as you said. Doctors here don't get it at all. So good to have your expertise. Thank you!

    My 16 year old son has Crohn's disease so I worried about c irritating his gut. He can't swallow pills.
    I even worry about c in kiwis or cantaloupe bothering his stomach.
    Our friend that had Crohn's died from stomach cancer, so we want to be very careful that he doesn't put anything in him that might aggravate the lining of his digestive system.

    • @drlam

      I'm sorry to hear about your friend. For your son, consider buffered or liposomal Vitamin C, which are gentler on the gut. Liquid forms can also be easier to tolerate. Always check with his healthcare provider before trying new supplements.

    I watched your videos before and I’m re-watching them now because I’m now in a fib and I’m starting to read a lot of research that vitamin C and vitamin E can help reduce a fib symptoms. My question to you guys since your father is the expert and both of you are just such kind hearted people is vitamin C, calcium a sorbate just as good as assorted acid?

    • @drlam
      @drlam  8 днів тому +1

      Calcium ascorbate is gentler on the stomach, while ascorbic acid may be better absorbed, but both are effective forms of vitamin C. If you're sensitive there are even non-corn forms of vitamin C like camu camu or acerola.

Hard to find info on this but I know vit c can interfere with medications and other vitamins.. it's that an ok thing or am I not getting full benefit from doing that? Also lately I've added quercetin dehydrate powder to that and take a zinc tablet 50mg. I've just learned that glucose and carbs are not good to take with vit c because it won't get absorbed. What would be best form for a sensitive tummy with treatment of adrenals ? Will iv be the best or liposmal

      Start with liposomal or different delivery forms at a lower dose. Sometimes diluting it helps and taking it with food. IV's are also a good option, but can be higher dose
