Carlin is the best comedian I've ever seen. His memorization, all while admittedly being stoned 24/7, capacity was off the charts. This is funny but he's best uncensored. Everything is better uncensored. A number of years ago, I saw Carlin in a small, independent bookstore in the West LA area. (Brentwood) No one was there except for us. Living in LA means seeing famous people everyday. I leave them alone because that's a favor to them. I couldn't help but go up to Mr. Carlin and thank him. He was friendly but not cheesy at all. He said he appreciated it but why was I thanking him. His eyes watered so quickly when I told him my Uncle died of cancer and spent his remaining year watching Carlin because that's all he could do...all he was able to decide to do. The only laughs in the last year of cancer were thanks to Carlin. That means a lot to me! RIP, Mr. Carlin! Carved in stone on his grave reads...."he was just here 10 minutes ago." He was even funny in death! If you just stumbled on this, you've fallen into a goldmine of comedy.

As if Europeans were the only group that ever fought over land and territory. Only someone with a Eurocentric education in history would make such a statement. The Middle East has been a warzone for 6,000 years of recorded history. African tribes have been slaughtering, enslaving, and cannibalizing each other for probably far longer than that. The Indian subcontinent had plenty of factions and wars. So did China and southeast Asia. And the American natives were hardly the hippies they're made out to be. They routinely slaughtered one another with all manner of depravity that, other than scalping, rarely makes the history books because it doesn't fit the white-people-bad narrative.

The silence of the audience at the beginning of this piece speaks volumes. This man was able to speak through all the bullshit. 🙏🏽💯

The audience laughed at NIMBY like it was a joke Carlin made up.
    Shows how uninformed the public
    is/was about stuff like this.

@Mice Elf How was it "lowbrow"? Because the host was Black? Or because he was Liberal?

Most people are STILL clueless morons... like with this current "coronavirus" bullshit... the lockdowns, the quarantines, the "relief benefit" handouts (beware the price to pay on THAT one), the "social distancing"? All parts to a devastating machine designed to destroy the economy, keep people sick, stupid, scared, and subservient, and control our every waking move.
The BEST thing we can do now, is protect the elderly and the immune-suppressed, but all healthy people need to GET BACK OUT THERE and take our lives and our society BACK! Socializing, going to work, going to school, etc! And REJECT these bullshit "vaccines" they're gonna bring down on us! REJECT the new technology like 5G that will be used to TRACK us and monitor our daily conduct on a "social credit" system!!
If we don't defy these assholes in power, and just sit back like good little sheep and let this shit happen, "1984" is gonna look like kid's day at fuckin Disneyland by comparison.

Well en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NIMBY#Origin_and_history Looks like the term NIMBY may have started getting popular traction in the 1980's, and this routine was on a show that originally aired in 1991. Probably not all that odd hat many people hearing this routine by Carlin may have heard that term for the first time _thanks_ to Carlin.
