As per the comments of repeat stand up, I am OK with that. It was never verbatim repeat. He was always tweaking the material and almost always making it better. A lot of great stuff here. The only odd appearance was the 1998 super hyper stand up. It's followed by the classic accident stand up. It has to be remembered that George was limited in material to network standards and practices, much of his HBO stuff would never get through. Dave was maybe the only one I know of who actually expressed sympathy on the death of George's wife to him publicly. George expressed an appreciation for Dave's off the cuff comments with genuine smiles and handshakes. There was a mutual admiration that shows through many times. That line cracked me up and I don't even know what it means. LOL
@@MeloettaMarmalade Stop describing yourself.
He's 100% right.
@@seahawks5725 I would hope that wouldn't be the case. George was a very tolerant and supportive person. He only really targeted authoritarianism, ridiculous trends, and stupidity. And, was funny af, doing it!
Impossible to not laugh. He's so very funny thank you it makes us all healthier. 😅
He was & still is a legend!
Thanks so much for putting this together.
Carlin on spot visits to Letterman is funnier than so many comedians. GOAT
His perspective about life and world blows my mind
I don't always agree with everything he said, but even then, it made sense, backed by rock solid logic
First clean monologue I’ve heard Carlin perform. He can perform and be funny without nasty language. Although, even his foul language is hilarious.
I met him once,
In Bennington, VT,
He stopped and asked me directions,
WOW 😳
It was pretty cool
George was one of a kind he will be missed but remembered
George really was brilliant.
Wisdom and linguistic talent, the best, sharpest monologer I know!
He was the best comedian of all time. Because he talked about everyday things that everyone could relate to!! Hands down, the Best!!
This standup was simply brilliant 👏
these every appearance complations are the best! i would love to see the Chris Farley
Uncle George helped me
I'm still alive.
Thank you George
Oh cool. Carlin!.thanks for sharing buddy.
Genius!
Imagine his commentary today with what's happening in our Country!!!
UFB!!!
Wish he was here!
Greatly missed!!!
Great camera shot at 28:10.
Man, you can tell Dave was so much happier in 1994 than in later years.
I have never laughed so much in my life George Carlin is so great and thank you for putting this content out with all these different clips and oh my God it's so funny and I'm going to use so many of these jokes at work.
Wheather you agree with his analogies or not, he makes you think about them in a different way. And he always delivers on humor & keeps us laughing the entire time! Thanks for all the unique stories, making us think about life in a we probably wouldn't have & the never ending laughter we all need in our lives. Again, thanks in a big way George Carlin!!!
Thanks for putting this together!!
Golly Gee Wiz... "Curious George", you gotta love that line, huh?
Thanks for sharing this with all of us. THANK YOU!
Clever. George could write some interesting stuff ❤️
But not funny
the only person to equal his energy was Robbin Williams..... the best two comedians to ever grace this earth
Thanks as always, Don. Interesting to see the switch from more panel to more standup from LN to LS (and yes, the repeat of material -- though for the most part it was a very different audience). I know Carlin had some troubles in the early 2000s but it's interesting that he was never invited back after getting clean.
RIP "George" who was the best - funnier than other comics w/ his own very unique brand....
THE GOAT & Greatest comedian ever!!! RIP my man... we miss your genius... !!👍🏻👍🏻😂😂
You’ve obviously never seen Billy Connolly!
I always loved George Carlin & I miss him greatly.
my number one stand up is George Carlin and Rodney Dangerfield in no particular order. cant chose one over the other but loved them both.
