The most shocking part of this novel when Shaddam IV became even more cruel than the Harkonnens at a point. When he used biological weapon on Beakkal that was too much even for Hasimir Fenring.
8:03 I just reread Dune and a one point the Baron is thinking that he needs to get a new mentat from Tleilaxu, so i think it kinda fits into the original established lore. But again. I do not know if Frank Herbert already in the early 60s had an idea of what Tleilaxu entirely was.
Yeah, I remember him thinking about killing Piter to replace him not clone him or whatever they did in this book. Maybe it was in Frank Herbert’s notes. The authors do say they were given access to them.

Yeah definitely. He was brutal in this novel towards his half brother as well.
@@RonReviews2 yes. I was suprised how Tyros Reffa died so early. I thought he will have larger role in the novel.
