Even when ghosts came out i thought it was pretty good, extinction or whatever the alien zombies mode is was really fun to me, the guns and gunplay are all pretty awesome, the campaign was good but not great, and the MP was pretty fun i think. The graphics are pretty mid, but something about the game was just so satisfying to me. Just like infinite warfare, this game got too much hate when it came out, but I appreciate them for what they are. Also, the honey badger reload animation is still goated to this day.
Amen. Vanguard is probably the worst CoD ever made. I hope it does not get a sequel. Both WW2 and Vanguard weren't good. Sledgehammer doesn't deserve another CoD game. Only Advance Warfare was decent.
for me this is the best cod campaign post modern warfare (i much, muuuuch prefer cod series up to modern warfare, including console releases like finest hour, big red one and cod 3) - Ghosts aren't nearly as scripted, firefights often take place at much wider areas, vehicle sections actually allows you to take control and so on. I also like B movie styled story with Rourke being almost '90 B movie antagonist. Also while multi sucked probably due to bigger maps, it was great for few people who like playing with bots - here new much more human like bots shined, and bigger maps made gameplay better
"When it comes to the gameplay, it's the same sh*t with a new coat of paint." Unfortunately, that's the whole game in a nutshell. I say unfortunate because I really wanted to like this game, especially since it was one of my first Xbox One purchases. But the game just plays more or less like all other classic Modern Warfare games. I know they were trying at the time, especially with the "Dog" features, but I felt that they were either wanting a quick cash grab or they were running low on motivations to keep the franchise going. As a side note, I think the peak of Call of Duty was the second Modern Warfare game. The game isn't terrible, but I found it really boring about halfway and had to force myself to complete it. The sory did seem a bit interesting and it was a shame that it ended with a cliffhanger. But I hope this series gets explored again, in the future, with more innovative features this time. But at this point, I think the COD series is on life support.
I´v never played that Game and was pretty interested especially for this Review to come, but even after watching it i still really don´t know what made "Ghosts" stand out. Maybe that´s the point. There was just nothing that made Ghosts stand out. It´s just more of the same with some stuff weaker then it´s predecessors, for example the Soundtrack. The only thing that maybe is to point out that it has a standalone story?!? I really need to play it and see for myself.
The campaign is worth playing but the only annoying thing is it ends on a cliffhanger which suggested there would have been a sequel, but because of the negative reception this game got Infinity Ward scrapped that and made Infinite Warfare instead
Looking back. Ill take this over every game coming out broken and stuffed with microtransactions. All i could think during this review was “wow look at all the features”
I rember that 2013 and remember the bullshit told by Activision before release and this one was release along with Battlefield 4 i go for Battlefield 4 on PS4
Did Activision actually fix their servers? Rumor has it only took MW2 just few days to be comprised by the hackers again. Like the bad malware/spyware hackers that steal identity and change settings to make your PC unusable. I bought all the best cod games just for Activision to remove the only safe clients to play but idk if I believe they actually made their own servers safe?
Assuming you're buying these games for the purpose of these videos, I'd advise against buying the premium editions, simply because the multiplayer pool is only accessible without the DLC installed.
@@purebaldness I think it’s called IW6X or something like that, it’s basically the same thing as Plutonium. By the way, I tried it and I was able to find a lot of good matches on that client for Ghosts. There’s definitely people playing this game online on PC, thank goodness. It’s actually really fun
This is a YA (young adult) CoD, I only realized this later. It came out around the time when Hunger Games was popular. It's set in a nonsensical post apocaliptic world where the special tweenager protagonist joins a special group of cool people (like Mazerunners or Dauntless) to topple the evil regime and save the world (USA) and of course their parents were also part of this special group. The only thing that's missing from it is a bow.
For me the story was trash and the multiplayer made very unnecessary changes and the maps just sucked. As much as people hated it, Infinite Warfare had a pretty good story
I never understood people calling this amazing game non Innovative, it has : dog, tank, apache, underwater shark, train, jungle, BL light, etc. missions. variety was there. other criticism is valid about story, length, multiplayer, main campaign however was innovative

We didn't know how good we had it
amen to that brother!!!
Wasn't this the game with the infamous dog trailer?
Yup, new dog models and advance fish AI lol. .
💥💥The Call of Duty that started downfall of the series cod ghost.
I would still rather play Ghosts than Vanguard

I guess the Extinction mode made it stands out

The only thing i remember about this one is the dog 😂
Thanks I was thinking about playing this lately
Part of me finds Ghosts underrated. Another part finds Ghosts to be not as good as I recall. A mixed bag at most.

All of the games prior to Infinite Warfare are still compromised.
I still liked the world of Ghost. Wish it got a sequel. Rather see that than yet another Vanguard or WW2.
You mean it! No g eazy
This game is Amazing with bots. It has the best bots I ve seen in a multiplayer game . You really should check it
seriously, best bots in the whole series, they can play every single mode
This isnt a bad game just make sure you get it for cheap.

I wonder if that applies to IW6
@@cheekyphuzz_thegod8558 IW6?

Extinction was great, a great change of pace compared to zombies. The last COD I enjoyed. Didn't like the advanced movement.
DoGMoDEL!
You could have played the multiplayer mode with bots
Why that's dumb
For me the story was trash and the multiplayer made very unnecessary changes and the maps just sucked. As much as people hated it, Infinite Warfare had a pretty good story
Awesome zombies too in IW.
