I just walk off..dun waste my time and test my patience on these stupid and ignorant questions..

If you look at any of these hearings, very few of the questions are ever relevant at all. It was the same thing with Facebook and Google. One of the dumb reps actually asked the CEO of Google how an app got downloaded on his IPHONE.
The reality is most of these politicians just want to harness the media attention to grandstand and gain political clout.

There is no need to talk too much about how to treat Tiktok. The problem will be solved in the same way that the dictator, the Communist Party of China, treats the Chinese people. It is also fair!
The real issue is that the Chinese Communist Party controls every Chinese company through a shadow board, most of the time excluding anything put forward by the actual board. They cannot have any business dealings without being vetted by the CCP.

The main concern w/ TikTok that the US have concerns over is what information it collects and who it shares it to with including w/ the CCP even though they say they don't/won't but who's to say what their parent company, Byte Dance dictates and is under the influence of the CCP.
