The US will start a global war to keep the $USD as reserve currency, the value of the $ is only a thing cos it IS the reserve, they dont make anything they dont add value to anything so the $ is basically worthless unless its needed at the global reserve currency.

It took advantage of that by having most of the world's scientists and engineers migrate into the country and taking all the military hardware secrets of the Nazis and Imperial Japan (see" Operation Paperclip") under its wing.
WW2 was unplanned but the aftermath was certainly something that the U.S. grabbed with both hands and ran away with all the chips and cards.
