- During the US congressional hearing with TikTok at the US Capitol in Washington, DC on Thursday (March 23), Republican and Democrat lawmakers raised numerous concerns about its potential to threaten US national security by sharing its data with the Chinese government.

A man was requested to give information. If an inadequate man feels threatened, and behaves in a cowardly manner he then is obviously inadequate not his female interrogators. If Chew cannot handle this level of questioning- it begs the question how adequate is he to ge a CEO where shareholders will be far more animated and less polite. Perhaps Chew is emotionally ill equipped for leadership.

I don't know how much you know about leadership but this isn't a leadership problem anymore--it's a manners problem for the representative.

@@markiobook8639 No. Your job has nothing to do with your nationality unless you are working for the government and the country demands that you must be a citizen of that country to work in a particular government agency (e.g. a Mexican citizen cannot be president of the United States, only citizen of the US can be it’s president). Besides, he is Singaporean. Singapore has no “political allegiance” to China or U.S - it is an independent country. If anything his political allegiance will be to Singapore which is on no other country’s side except their own.

Congressmen were not there to find out the truth with meaningful impartial questions but to throw out their false accusations without evidence, with biases, hypocrisy, racism, and hostility. They didn't allow him time to answer the questions, and forced the CEO to give a yes/no answer to a multi-layers questions, then blamed company for the deaths of some young users, and then blamed him for not monitoring/controlling the harmful content at one point but then asked him to allow the content of Uighur genoxxde and Tiananmen Square massaxxre. These incompetent law makers are the reasons why the country is in a bad shape.

At the very least, they are relevant to their concerns. They often ask rhetorical questions in order to substantiate their point. It's one of the fundamentals of persuasive public speaking
