The hairspray tip* 😮 Genius, Diana!
I have two wrap dresses for summer, both of which I love because of how well they fit and flatter. BUT, both of them cross over in front much too low for my liking. The only solution I have is to use a tiny safety pin and, with great difficulty, try to pin it a bit higher up from the inside so it doesn't show. Is there an easier way that you can show? Thank you.
I took the quiz and chose A. But I’m very short waisted and can have trouble with that. The model is also depicted as heavy which I’m not. So I hope I chose correctly
Do it when it's off your body.
It helps enormously to be slender and elegant to start with!
Tucking just does not work for me. My stomach is too expised. This technique works for women who do not have a tummy.
I'm skinny, but I sometimes have a pot tummy. Tucking can be done on one side, and still be effective. It's really just to define a waist/hip point to create a better silhouette. Play around with it. 😊
That does not work on a huge tummy
I am very skinny but I have a bulging tummy due to an illness I have, but what I find most helpful is wearing a size bigger than my normal size and a high waist pants or skirts and that hides my stomach almost completely.
Try to tuck on one side, it will create asymmetric line and will elongate the torso without adding extra bulk.
I agree, these skinny people can do it and it looks good but no one can tell me it looks good on a rolly poly tummy, they can say half tuck or side tuck but still if a roll of fat tummy is exploit looks terrible and not for me
I feel like the vast majority of people would look at you weird if you wore just one side of of a button-down shirt tucked in. No one I know does that or likely would even recognize it a style. They might think you were sloppy when getting dressed.
Stylists do that often - but people on the streets dont.
Half tuck is rubbish
I respectfully disagree. Half tuck was obviously purposefully done, so not by mistake, so hence not sloppy. I don't need validation of other people to wear what I want.
You can also put a scarf over your head before putting on your top to prevent makeup stains.😊
Tucking in the shirt without adding bulk in the trousers is a great tip! Thank you!
The info about sleeve length was most enlightening! Thank you for the tips on tucks...needed that.
Proper stylist hacks that I've never seen online before. Thank you.
Watching this video for the first time and was amazed how you made one necklace out of two allowing the creation of two lengths. While I plan to try this, the demonstration was rather quick so it would be great to see a slower version. Thank you so much for all of the clever and useful content. Your style and message are so simple and elegant. You are a joy to watch.
Top right side of the screen has the settings icon. You can change the speed of the video to slower or faster
You are fantastic! Never saw someone share so much. Smart sassy tips to make us look our best. Thank you so happy to have found you💕
Making 2 necklaces into one to vary the length is s obvious and genius! Never even dawned on me.
Best video yet, thanks Diana! I'd love to see more videos on how to elevate basic outfits.
Will do!! 👍 thank you! 🩵
I love all the tucking ideas. I’m 5ft 4 and clothes don’t fit well at all. This is great. I feel I can now experiment and hopefully feel confident again .
I like the rolling up the sleeves to elbows. I didn’t realize it affected the proportion so much. Thanks for sharing 💕
Or, if you can find em, just buy tops with 2/3 sleeves. They are great.
Love this video. The tucks and bra hacks were great!
A very informative video that I really appreciated. Loved all your hacks and will use them. Thank you!
Here you go again with your priceless tips. I love all the “tucking “ ideas and the waist band oh my! Thanks much ❤
So glad! Thank you, Rosita!
Your instructions on tucking shirts was fabulous! I am a pear shaped fuller figure woman and I definitely look better when I tuck in my tops to give the illusion of a waistline. However, I always struggle with how to do it so it doesn't look crumpled or frumpy or adding MORE bulk to my waist. These ideas will take some practice for me, but I LOVE them! Thank you!
Merci Diana fantastic solutions !!,❤
It never occurred me to roll and twist and tuck😊
However I style my clothes, it has to stay put. If I’m constantly adjusting it I’ll never wear it again.
Exactly!
Thank you for your video. I will be trying out some of your hacks 😊
The sleeve hacks, & the make up hack are the 2 that had my attention most.
I love the hairspray tip to alleviate makeup stains on blouses. Thank you, great tip!
My hack to keep from getting makeup on clothes that I am pulling over my head is to put a shower cap over my face first. You can use a silk shower cap or you can do what I do which is to always keep a clear plastic hotel hospitality shower cap in my dressing room for just this purpose. They are very small, so I also have one tucked into my purse cosmetic bag to use when I am shopping and trying on clothes.
You have been a great help to me. Thank you.
Thank you Diana for your professional advice 🙏❤️🙏
Glad it was helpful!🫶🏻
Some great tips to achieve the look. ThankYou!
I’m going to try the hairspray on my shirt collars. Thank you.
One of the best tips videos! I will use several of them. Thanks very much!
The hairspray/ makeup tip sounds great!! I have to try this. Thank you!
Thank you for this. I always wondered how people tacked shirts and sleeves.
Love so many of these hacks, but the hairspray hack to keep makeup off of shirts is so amazingly helpful!
Such terrific styling tips. Thanks, Diana.
Glad it was helpful!💚
You are the best! I am watching a lot of style videos because I fell into bad dressing habits: tee shirts and shorts every day. You are the best!
Great video, thank you - I'm actually saving it for reference!
I tuck in all tops, or wear “cropped” ones that just cover a high waistband (this works because I’m short and short-waisted). I hate seeing so many women my age, 63, covering up and looking block-like in those huge, long, shirts, they just ruin their proportions.
the tucking in of the shirt was very helpful for me. thank you
Дианочка, вы прелесть!
Ty so much Diana. What a great video.
Wow! Thank you very much!
Fantastic tips! Thanks ❤️ Speaking about avoiding make-up on your clothes,, my mother always used a scarf to cover her head and face, held the ends in her mouth, as she pulled the top over her face. No problems at all 😍
I find that i get make up on my clothes during wearing them , on the collar where the jawline comes in contact with it.
Good idea. I keep an old pillow case for this.
what a fun Mom!
My mum used to keep a pair of panties in her purse and would put them over her head when trying on clothes🤣
The hairspray hack, hands down! Gosh that's amazing!!
Very useful tips. Thank you!
Don’t like the half tuck!
Wanted to say the same 😀👍
Half tuck, or French tuck is to be used on a tshirt like top, not that really long blouse. Looks dumb.
Thank you for this video of hacks. Very helpful.
I really liked the trick with the striped shirt and the last tuck you did, still showing the cuffs I absolutely loved. Will try it out this week end going into munich !
Wow. I can’t believe you gave so much detail. Tuck in the button side?! Thank you. Sometimes it’s so hard to follow the videos. The detail given really matters. Thank you!!
What great ideas. Thank you Diana.
Glad you like them!💚
Loved all the hacks!
Learned so many new hacks Diana! Thank you so much for sharing. The hairspray to prevent makeup stains is probably what I was very surprised to learn. I will definitely incorporate this hack immediately.

Bonnie Ohio 😊
Thank you for the tips😍
Excellent tips! It's also so important to have a piece of jewellery to give subtle interest to the outfit and draw attention to the face. Pearl jewellery is flattering to all skin types and ages.
The hairspray hack! Never thought of that! Thank you for sharing ❤
It's so good!

Thank you Diana! I adore you style - where can I find the white silk blouse as shown with the white wide legged pants? You look truly amazing!!! Thank you again - your advice is truly appreciated.
❤so fabulous, exquisite and elegant
Had no idea of this hair spray trick, very useful

I love the bag
Thus was all very helpful, thank you ❤❤
I'm so glad!
Perfect video👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 more hacks like please❣️❣️
Just when I thought I knew all the hacks.. I’ve learned a few more! Thanks so much, this video is priceless!
You're so welcome!💚
This was very useful. I'm just about 5ft so nearly all tops are too long and make me look out of proportion (as in your first outfit). I have spent a lot of money having things shortened so seeing different tucking techniques is great. Thank you x
Glad it was helpful!😊
Dianna, your pants are too baggy and your shirts too big.

Oh my God, the hair spray hack is awesome 😊 gracias
Such great content, thank you! I hadn’t seen the majority of the hacks you included and found them to be incredibly helpful! I feel like I’m missing those final steps in creating a polished look-I feel good about the clothes I’ve chosen, but I don’t have the cohesive, stylish, pulled-together look you’ve mastered. I especially appreciated the tip about the different ways to tuck in one’s shirt, and the one about using hairspray to prevent makeup stains! I’m bookmarking this video so I can refer back to it in the future!
One question: I need to buy a slightly oversized blazer (a bit like the white one you show related to the tip on sleeve length) but I’m having a really difficult time finding one! They are either too fitted, which isn’t the look I’m going for, or they appear almost clownish on me-or give me the ‘80s shoulder pad look. Any tips? Double breasted or single? Or does it all depend on body shape?
Thank you!
You have beautiful anatomy. I just stumbled upon your channel! LOVE it. Elegance never goes out of style. This channel supports the « Goddess » in all women. And, your channel élevâtes this above other channels. Magic off the runway…
BRAVO! Great video. Some tricks were known to me, but I never saw them so well explained and exemplified. The hair spray trick totally a game changer. You see I’m obsessed with white, beiges and pastel colors. 😊❤
Me too, on your color obsession, these are my faves, too. I have Soft Summer coloring and they suit me well.🙂
Glad you enjoyed it!🩵
Me too! White and beige and are my colours at the moment 😊
Thank you. Some great ideas, and I already use several. Some women do not buy their clothes large enough, especially us smaller waisted “curvy” girls. I’ve rarely found a pair of trousers that fit well without having to alter them. Far too many here in the southern USA wear ill-fitting jeans/trousers that are too tight in the inseam area. 😳🤦🏼♀️😱 I’ll admit, it’s one of the reasons I mostly wear dresses or skirts.
Altered clothes to your body will always wear better and will look great. No one needs a million pair of slacks or jeans, just well fitting ones. One will always feel better in it and you will wear it so many times, that the cost of the alterations will be justified.
@@angellas.1314 Agreed 💯
Excellent video, Diana! Would spraying hairspray inside the neckline of a top prevent those yellow stains that appear from using sunscreen?
